Initial contact was okay, it was all by Angie's List message board. I am not always at my computer or have access so, I left a cell number that could be called or texted. Since service provider kept using Angie's List message service I missed them 2 times since I could not get to a computer that day. The provider did say that this was a busy time for them. I again left my contact info on the Angie's List messaging and asked them to contact me by cell phone/text to coordinate. I has been 4 weeks without any contact by phone or Angie's List message and I have no desire to keep pursuing someone who is too busy to give me the courtesy of a follow up call/email.

Called and made an appointment for an estimate on the work. I was flexible in the day and time of the appointment, so was surprised when the father who normally doesn't do estimates showed. After looking at the job, he didn't have much for ideas. Said that retaining walls are popular, so that might be the way to go. Normally boulder walls are $19 per square foot. He told me he normally doesn't do quotes and didn't seem to have any ideas on the job, so I said thanks for coming out. He said that he'd have his son follow-up with me, but I haven't received a call yet (I'll update if anything changes). Maybe they are to busy right now and don't want the work. Was weird to waste my time sending someone that was obviously not comfortable making recommendations or giving estimates. Would have preferred to reschedule the appointment or just been told they are to busy right now. Update - Five days later got a call back from Chad. He said they have been busy with work, so it took a while to get back to me. I let him know we went with someone else and he was glad we found some help.

Zaback Services performed grading and landscaping services on my property. This included correcting drainage issues, mixing in black dirt, drain tile, edging/mulching and retaining walls. Chad was great about maximizing my value for what my budget allowed. He worked closely with me during the project to keep me informed on what the costs would be based on many changes I made during the project. The work was high quality and all of the people I had contact with were very professional and cared about what I wanted. I plan on working with Zaback Services again in the future.
