Although John, the Wild Prairie Homes contractor, did meet with us originally in a timely manner, we have had nothing but problems with him since then. John came out to discuss the project we had in mind (remodeling a bathroom) and we were told he would put together an estimate and get it to us. After not hearing from him for several weeks, we started leaving messages (voicemails and messages through Angie's List) asking for a status report. We didn't get any response. Finally, after 2 months, we got a return message from the contract's office assistant telling us that John had an inner ear surgery and had been out of the office for a couple of weeks. John would, however, be in touch with us as soon as possible. Three months passed and we hadn't heard any more from Wild Prairie Homes. We figured that should have been enough time to recuperate from the surgery so we reached out again via the Angie's List site. At that point we asked to just be issued a refund since we weren't able to get information, much less work, from them. Again, no response from Wild Prairie Homes. We continued to call their office and did eventually speak with John several weeks later. He said that we would send us a refund check. The check never came. We continued to call and leave messages and continued to get no response and no check. If I could afford to give money away, I would have gone gambling. At least then I would have had even a tiny chance to get something in return! Wild Prairie Homes totally ripped us off and I don't want it to happen to you too!

John was responsive and employees completed top notch painting work. Very happy with the results.

I have tried to contact this provider numerous times to come out to do the work. They have not responded to me.

They were very professional. Good communication and timely. They worked hard the entire time they were at our house. They answered questions about other work around the house and even suggested others for work they couldn't do. We will be using them again.

Scheduling the service was good. They did a fine job. They were skilled and did a good job in a variety of different tasks that we had them look at.

They did a very good job. Everything was very well done as far as I can tell. The man was very nice and his helpers were very nice. We had several estimates and theirs was the most reasonable.

He was very courteous and explained everything. He informed me of things that I may need to repair. He just did an inspection but there was no sealing necessary.

It started off well with the contact, and I believe owner, John Rosenau, coming out to my house several days after I called to conduct the inspection. After he had concluded, he mentioned that he would be getting me the results and any suggestions for further work right away as he was leaving town. He did not talk about having resealed anything but I assumed he would do that at a later time. After several weeks of waiting, I called John to ask why I had not received his report as promised. He assured me that he had previously sent the materials but stated that he would resend that evening. After several more weeks of waiting, I called John again to state that I had not received anything. After waiting 5 weeks, I finally received a report(which contained nothing to show that it had previously been sent) from John suggesting $1800 worth of work. I called John to state that I was not happy and wanted him to either come over and do the resealing that was included in the deal I had purchased or refund my money. Neither of these things have happened to date.

They worked really well with us and rolled our deductible into the price. They ended up siding our garage for free because of all of the other work they did for us.

We initially hired Wild Prairie homes to repair some water damage on our living room ceiling from a leaky hot tub in early 2012. They did an incredible job and the way they covered up the walls,carpet and furniture was impressive. When we needed our roof replaced later in the year, we got several bids including Wild Prairie and once again hired them based upon our trust in owner John Roseneau and the fact that he was competitive on price as well. Replacing original countertops with granite in our 8 year old house was kind of bewildering as there are a lot of products out there both natural and synthetic and you don't want something like this messed up when you consider the money invested and the fact that you will be looking at it every day for as long as you own the house. We did a lot of homework and then called John. He made several suggestions and brought in his subcontractor for a bid. We were able to actually hand pick our granite slabs from their wholesaler. They were very easy to work with and their work was meticulous.

With days of starting, the expected calendar of work started to experience delays....because of Wild Prairie and subcontractors. Therefore, we had to push and remind in order for the project to move ahead. Slight changes in the renovation (time and plans) were accepted but WP did not review his price quote - until the very end when we were informed of a huge cost over run. The original quote included certain doors etc...which later were denied. Fortunately we kept all the e-mails and correspondence to prove our case. The subcontractors did very good work but Wild Prairie did a poor job of managing the project - especially the details of timing and costs. The net result was a 4 month delay until the city finally approved the project.

John was great. He worked with the insurance adjustor and help smooth the process. Then he worked around our schedule to come to our house and help choose the materials and explained the whole process from the insurance to how the work is done. He took what could have been a difficult experience and made it easy and painless.

The whole experience was very painless. John sat down explained how everything worked, We signed the paperwork and within a week the roof was replaced. Due to the early snow we waited until spring for the rest of the work to be completed. While shingling a set of lights in our kitchen was broken. They paid for a new set of lights and replaced them. They worked closely with the insurance company to get the claim settled in a quick and efficient manner.
