Chris's work was excellent in preparing, installing and adding finishing details to the job. I'm very pleased with both his professionalism and workmanship. Tuttle Tile will be my first call when I begin my next project.

I contacted five recommended tile installers. Chris was very responsive to my inquiry and answered a lot of questions during the consultation. I have a major aversion to tile grout and wanted to take every precaution to ensure that it would not stain or look dirty over a period of time. He recommended and installed a special product that will ensure my backsplash looks clean and new for years to come. Chris is very knowledgeable about the quality of the pre-work necessary in order to achieve an excellent tile result. He made me aware of the things that I should ensure during the demo/construction process that would result in a good finished job. I was able to communicate that to my construction / sheet rock / painters so that there was no back tracking or "surprises". There were installation delays with the granite which caused a re-scheduling of the tile. Chris was very accommodating and understanding of the delay. He is very responsive via email/phone/text. It was a pleasant experience dealing with someone who understood timelines and delays and good communication (in comparison to the other contractors I have been dealing with!!) Chris is an artist at laying out the tile in the most attractive way possible. I used a "stacked" pattern layout which really accentuates the thickness of the grout line. Should the grout line have been inconsistent in any way, would have really stood out like a sore thumb. Grout lines look great. Chris is well worth the money.

We have been using them for their professional artistic ability. We would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

In general, we had a great experience with various contractors during our kitchen and batch remodel when we first bought our house...but Tuttle was the standout. Service was excellent and his knowledge was impressive. Also, as we didn't have a general contractor for this moderately complex job, Tuttle was very generous with his time and advice in how to tackle issues unrelated to his tile work. I would highly recommend Tuttle.

Chris has a nice artistic touch - he is more than just a technician. In our pre-meeting to discuss the installation he was very thoughtful about the way things should look. When he installed he made several nice artistic choices that enhanced the end product.

I think he was very professional and very easy to work with. We communicated quite a bit back & forth and he was always prompt in responding to me and getting me information that I needed. We had to go pick up tiles and he was very helpful in that process and telling me what I should do.

My neighbor had used Chris Tuttle before for installing a backsplash. He was also on a tile contractor list provided to me by a tile store supplying the tile for my project. Chris came out and gave me a bid after I contacted him. I decided to go with him based on my neighbor's recommendation and his demeanor when I interviewed him. Chris was very professional and knew his stuff. He completed the project in about 6 hours over a two day period. He installed some regular tile and accent tiles. The work looks very nice. The price for the project was $600 for labor plus $210 for the tile (a total of $810.00) I would use Chris again. He does excellent work.
