About us

Trevor Foss has been working on the exteriors of Twin Cities homes for more than 25 years. He started out helping his father with the work, but was quickly recruited by additional customers. He’s run his own business almost the entire time. Foss has the expertise to work on a wide variety of houses, including small city homes, townhouses and condominiums, and multi-million dollar mansions. He graduated from Minnesota State University-Mankato in 1992 with a degree in construction management and a minor in both accounting and computer science. He continues to keep his skills current by regularly attending vocational classes, continuing education courses and various seminars.

They were able to get to the roof replacement very quickly due to flexible schedule on my part. Arrived on time, very quick and professional in taking care of the landscaping and exterior of the home prior to starting tear-off of existing shingles. Crew was very efficient and courteous. Trevor (owner) was on site to supervise his crew and verify accuracy of materials delivered to be installed. The job was performed in the time frame expected (7 hours from arrival to departure), and clean-up of any stray materials was excellent. New roof looks great. While not the least expensive bid I received, I felt extremely comfortable with Trevor's personal attention to making sure I understood the services he could provide. Also was glad to have the warrantee he could offer being a top-tier installer allowing the warrantee to be transferred once in it's lifetime as well. I felt confident if there were any issues, he would be around and responsive to come check anything out and repair as needed.
Description of Work: Trevor came to my house for discussion of estimate and explained services to be performed. Very detailed description of options and benefits of his service.

Description of Work: Owner responded to my call. Scheduled a time to meet and review project. Ultimately referred me to a stucco contractor that he used because he thought it would be better in our situation. Stucco already completed. Great referral. Foss Exteriors had already put new roofs on two of my homes. Fabulous experience. I thought they only did roofs until I saw their referral on Angies list. Thanks for the reconnection. Will definitely use again.

I had several meetings with Foss regarding removing all of our stucco and residing with other materials and about redoing our roof to include a ridge cap and better ventilation. They were extremely professional and competent and I drove by several other homes they have worked on. My neighbor is extremely particular and he raves about Foss. Their communication has been excellent and they are timely.
Description of Work: I got an extensive estimate for water damage for my Stucco house form them-my neighbor used them for his roof and we will definitely be going with them for our rood as well

He came by and looked around our roof. He was really professional and honest. He said he would love our business, but there were no damages or work that needed to be done. We really appreciated his honesty. We would definitely use Trevor Foss, the owner, in the future if needed. We appreciated the integrity of their business.
Description of Work: After a storm, we had received a letter from him wanting to take a look at our roof to make sure there were no damages, free assessment.

An excellent company, with professional and caring people. All my future roofing and siding work will be with them.
Description of Work: Foss replaced my roof (shingles) in the summer of 2009. They did a great job. A year later I noticed a small leak around the ceiling fan in the bathroom. I called Josh and he was in my house the next morning. He got in the attic and thoroughly examined the condition around the air-hoses coming out of the fans. They all had gaps allowing the warm air escape and hit the cold inner surface of the roof.Thus it produced a condensed moisture which dripped down into the house. Josh returned the next morning with tools and tape to tighten the hoses and tape around them to prevent the warm air escape inside the attic. None of this had anything to do with their work on roof replacement, but not only Foss Exteriors addressed the issue, they did not charge me a penny for two house visits. An excellent company, with professional and caring people. All my future roofing and siding work will be with them.

TREVOR AND HIS CREW WERE EXCELLENT. TREVOR TOOK TIME TO EXPLAIN IN DETAIL WHAT WAS GOING ON. HE ADDED EXTRA ROOF VENTS, RE-SHINGLED A BAY WINDOW ROOF AT NO ADDITION CHARGE. TOOK GREAT CARE IN SHIELDING OUR HOUSE FROM RAIN SHOWERS DURING THE TWO DAY INSTALLATION.
