We had a great experience hiring Ben Otto Electric to install two new outlets for our home. The work was completed by Jim and he did a fantastic job. We will be hiring Ben Otto Electric again the next time we need any electrical work done for our home.

Ben did a great job! He arrived on time, was very pleasant and professional, and reinstalled my two lighting fixtures in about an hour. The charge for the service, I felt was high, but that is no reflection on Ben because he does not set the prices.

Our project was off to a good start on 9/2/20. Ben was responsive and did a great job with communication. The quality of the work was also good. Among other things, he did the electrical rough-in. The plan was that after the sheetrock was finished, he would come back and complete the wiring and installation of light fixtures. On 10/28/20, I contacted Ben to tell him we were ready to schedule him back in to finish the job. He told me he was down a guy, so he could not send anyone over that week. On 11/4/20 I asked him if he could schedule someone the following week. He responded with a NO. On 11/5/20 he told me he could not come back until after Thanksgiving. On 12/4/20, I contacted him again and he did not respond. Today is 1/15/21 and I still have not heard from him, so it seems he abandoned the job. It is understandable that *things come up* and delays can happen, though there is no excuse for poor communication. He should not have started my job if he was not committed to finishing it in a reasonable amount of time!

Ben reviewed the scope of the remodel project with us thoroughly. He installed new lighting, heated flooring and upgraded the outlets. The finished product looks great and works as well. He also gave us tips about helping to extend the life of older light fixtures. Polite, prompt and neat. I will definitely hire him again.

Ben did the electrical work when our house was built and we hired him when we finished our basement. Ben is very consultive and made great recommendations for us to consider around flow, future technology and considerations for optimal usage. Ben and his team were great to work with, courteous and on-time and make you comfortable having them in your home.

He did show up. He was supposed to replace an outlet in the family room. The city inspector would not pass his work. He didn't do an arc fault outlet. He chared us $175.00 for 6 minutes of work. I had to hire a different company to fix what he did. The other company I hired said he put in the wrong outlet. I called him to talk to him about it. He started screaming about it and swearing, so I put him on the phone with the other electrician. and they argued. Eventually he texted and said he would re-imburse us for the money. He never has. We filed a claim with the Attorney General's office and the BBB. He lied to the Attorney General's office and now we have to respond to his lies. We're going to court next.

They were very professional. Arrived on time, communicated and delivered the plan.

Did an excellent job. Will hire this company the next time I need electrical work.
