Kelly did an excellent job of installing my irrigation system in 2016, and in performing annual maintenance. For 2019 I had booked October 29th for winterization. The forecast showed that the low overnight would be 26 degrees. I phoned Kelly on the 28th asking if they could fit me in that day. They did so, eliminating my fears of frost damage to my system. I am very grateful and recommend Kelly highly.

Punctual, Flexible, Clear on communicating and explaining and suggesting what would work better. Looked for efficiency.

Our experience was simply exceptional. A very professional company to work with. Clear in communication, managing expectation and not to mention the actual work itself. System design was precise and installed just perfectly. No signs of stress on lawn and coverage was perfect.

We were introduced to Duggan Kelly (owner of Kelly Green Irrigation) by our landscaper. Duggan worked with us to plan a great irrigation system for our newly landscaped yard and new patio. The irrigation system was installed (spring of 2016) in a timely and professional manner and we had additional enhancements added to the system this spring/summer (2017). The Kelly Green service crew (particularly Mike G.) have been incredibly responsive and helpful in addressing any concerns and educating us on how to use the system. The communication is terrific and we highly recommend the Kelly Green team. This is our first experience using a home irrigation system and it has made a huge difference in our "quality of life" because we do not have to drag hoses and sprinklers around our yard. Our lawn and plants look great too. Kelly Green installed a system that uses the Rachio Smart Controller system. We can operate the system with an App on our cell phones. So we can "manage" our irrigation system (via the cell phone App) from any location. We will continue to use Kelly Green as our irrigation service provider in the coming years. This a well managed, locally owned company providing great service, with hard working employees.

ALL WENT AS PLANNED.

Duggan was prompt and professional. He began by informing me that my system is so old that parts are no longer made, but he does have some parts in storage. He started by looking for easy fixes, and within 20 minutes he found and replaced a bad wire. I had talked to three other companies that wouldn't even look at my system because it is hydraulic. They all suggested I convert to an electric system for $2k-$3k. My sprinkler is now working and it costed me less than $100!

We've been enjoying our irrigations system for about a month and we're so delighted with it! It's so wonderful to know we don't have to drag hoses around the yard anymore. Our grass is enjoying the water, but more importantly, our trees are getting the regular water they need. Our experience with Kelly Green was friendly, pleasant and easy from the very first phone call to the last training/meeting with the tech who helped us learn how to operate the system. Duggan Kelly came to give us an estimate - he listened to our needs and concerns and offered helpful suggestions. We asked friends who have had installs by Kelly Green for their opinions and all were very happy with the product and the service. On the day of the install, Duggan and the crew came and we tweaked the design a little more so that the system would run smoothly and efficiently. The crew had clearly worked together a lot - each person knew exactly what to do and didn't waste any time getting the job done. The machine that inserts the water lines leaves no trace that anything had been disturbed! Duggan has checked in with us since the install was completed and never fails to remind us to call with questions or concerns. We're very happy with our sprinkling system and still get a kick out of watching it if we happen to be up early!

Duggan was very fast in getting out to look at my property, and quite through in walking me through the irrigation equipment. Waited for a bid ... and waited ... and called his phone a few days later ... and emailed ... and called his office a day later. Two weeks later, I've heard nothing. Had to go with the other bidder, but was looking forward to his bid. Not sure what happened here -- he was one of three providers recommended by my landscaper - but something went wrong here. I've seen his work at other jobs and the customers seem happy, hoping this review helps with follow-through. UPDATE: Duggan called me and we talked; not sure exactly where the slip occurred, but he was very apologetic and sincere. As noted above, I have met many satisfied customers and he was one of two contractors the design-build firm recommended. I think this was an aberration, so I've raised the grade to a C and wouldn't discourage people from using him, just make sure there are a couple ways he can get the same bid to you.

I worked closely with Dugan for the planning stage, through actual installation and system instruction. In two weeks he will return for getting the system up and running for the new 2015 season. Dugan was helpful, courteous and professional. He was always honest and gave sound advice whenever it was needed. In every regard I am pleased and am looking forward to seeing the results! Kelly Green is a family owned business, very successful and in every way their family values come across while you are working with them. It has and will continue to be so for many years I am sure.

I have been using their services for a year and a half. They did the irrigation work for the previous owner of my house. They have guys who have come to this house for the last nine years and they know my system. They were also very helpful when we completed a landscaping project and had to extend the irrigation system. They were great with choosing a way to irrigate that was low cost and effective.

The system was installed after our original lawn was removed and new black dirt was spread. Boxes were set, the system connected and new turf went in within a day. Were were provided adequate directions but ended up asking for additional assistance as settings originally established had the system going off too often. This was quickly corrected as were a few adjustments to sprinking heads. I would say overall the job went quite well. We enjoyed working with Duggan, who as it turns out has worked with one of our fathers on a number of projects in the West Metro. He designed a system which needed to at once cover lots of new turf along with a sizable central garden. The result is vastly reduced manual watering on our part, saving us countless hours of effort and ensuring we have a beautiful lawn and healthy plants. Things to look out for when having a system installed prior to sod being set (lessons learned) include: 1. Ensuring you know exactly where the sod will and quot;landand quot; as we had a sprinkling head installed which turned out to be further from the edge of the sod than planned. It seems the area is being watered adequately but nevertheless know where your grass is going to be before the sprinkling heads are installed! 2. The drawing of the sprinkling layout provided by Kelly Green is adequate but does not tell the whole story. Once your sytem is installed, ask questions about where the supply lines are run and how the heads are supplied. In our case the drawing seemed to depict the supply lines in-line with the heads when in-fact a loop runs further from the edge of the lawns and then feeder lines run to the edges. This we discovered when an event tent was placed where we thought no lines existed. Yup, we had a leak which then needed to be repaired. 3. About the only other thing I'd note is the control boxes (in the laws or beds) are not as level as I might have hoped. This however may be due to the close proximity of tree and shrub roots which of course one doesn't want to cut unless it cannot be helped. Overall we are greatly pleased with the system and controls installed. We would use Kelly Green again.

They came early in the day and finished by mid-afternoon. Three guys and all were pleasant and great to work with.

Nothing wrong really... just preferred the professionalism of another provider after I had multiple bids done. Bid was generally in the range but other provider was more of a creative problem solver and articulated steps we could take to move forward. Kelly green didn't recommend taking steps to determine if old sprinkler system still worked -they just assumed it didn't. Turns out it does need replacing but I needed to understand why vs going on blind-faith.

The experience was smooth as silk. Dougan came out and together we designed the system. While I was away traveling his team installed everything. As it was just about time for snow, they shut-down the system after a few days. In the spring (which was in MAY!!) he returned and started it up. It works very well. The small number of problems that were present (i.e. clogged heads, etc) were quickly resolved. I'm very happy and my lawn is very happy too.

Went great! It took a while to get an appointment but it was done on time for a fair price. We'd definitely hire then again.

Their supplier had some bad valves, so they had to change them over a couple times. They did do the work right in the end, though. They did a great job on the installation. It wasn't their fault that the manufacturer made a mistake.

Orginally Duggan Kelly came out and estimated the job and did a thorough job of explaining his plans and his family run company. On installation day, Duggan walked me through each of the planned 11 zones and we modified the original design slightly to meet my specific watering needs. His Team (6 of them) went right to work. They were finished by the end of the day which was hard to believe given the number of zones and sprinkler heads installed. I could tell that these guys were trained professional and had worked together for many years. Each one seemed to know what they were responsible for and needed very little direction from the lead. They had all the right equipment and lawn damage was minimal. I would say that the Kelly Green workers were among the most polite and professional trade personnel that I have experienced over the years. Since the installation Mr. Kelly has followed up with me a couple of times to see how things were going with the system. He even dropped off some spinkler head marker flags for me (at my request) when I had my lawn irrigated in the fall. It was my mistake as I should have kept the original marker flags when they were offered to me at the time of installation. He dropped them off the next day, refused my offer of payment and had an attitute that he was happy to be able to do it, even though I am sure he had a busy schedule. This is a professional firm with a strong focus on customer service. I though their price was competitive and the service was outstanding. I am a perfectionist and i wanted my job done right, I am glad a went with Kelly Green.

Great service and the job was done on time!

We had notified Kelly Green that we were having a new fence installed and would need them to come out after the new posts were set to possibly move the existing sprinkler line. They had just told us to call when ready for them and once we did they were able to make it out next day. When we first explained the work we thought might need to be done, they had given us an estimate of up to $1000-$1200. When they came out to do the work, it was much simpler as they were able to rotate the five heads on the original line to gain the needed distance from the new fence.They completed the work in less than an hour and half, and returned promptly the next day for some repair work when we noted one of the valves was leaking. We were very pleased with their flexibility in scheduling; their honesty in completing the job in the simplest manner possible (despite our original acceptance of the higher bid for more complex work); and their speed in returning to repair the leaing valve. We have used Kelly Green since moving into our home 4 years ago and have always been happy with their service, expertise, professionalism and price.

From start to finish they were clear on each step. Also went above and beyond to explain maintenance and that we fully understood how the system works.

When I first hired the company several years ago it was a nice, family run business that treated it's customers like family. They were knowledgeable, professional and reasonable. However, recently the ownership changed from the father to the sons. The attitude of the business has also dramatically changed. They are rude and completely unprofessional. I had them out to start out my system. They missed the fact that one of the heads was broken, so I needed them to come back to fix it. They tried to charge me a large amount for this second trip. I called to ask for them to waive the fees, and after listening to the new owner rant/rave and be extremely rude to me, he finally agreed to waive the fees. I refuse to do business with a company that is that rude and unprofessional to their customers. They have lost a long standing customer over this incident.

Staff was on time/early for the appointment. They were friendly and polite. They wore foot covers to go down to the basement to turn off the outside water. They worked efficiently. This is the first time Kelly has offered a discount for a September appointment. The scheduler helped me make an appointment in September, which I appreciate.

THEY ARE ALWAYS PROMPT AND POLITE. THEY SEND ME A LETTER EVERY FALL AND SPRING TO REMIND ME TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. THE PRICE SEEMS REASONABLE FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME THEY SPEND.
