Description of Work: They totally rebuilt our deck, and extended it by 2'. They created a new, longer staircase that had a shorter rise and a new platform. They had all the cedar prestained so they were ready to put up the new deck quickly While there were a few glitches, Benny and his group listened, provided detailed explanations, and were very responsive when correcting problems. I would absolutely have them do another similar job!

Description of Work: Overall good process. There is a lack of communication that could be better. I never really knew when they were coming and what was happening until right before. But overall I'm happy with the result, and how quickly the job itself was finished. I would definitely use them again!

Description of Work: Carter Custom added a deck, sliding glass door and a screened porch. Carter was a great communicator, listened to my ideas, gave me feedback and did what he said he was going to do. I would hire him again.

Description of Work: We were very pleased with the work that Carter Construction and Fireplace did for us. We had an existing fireplace hidden behind a sheet rock wall and we were uncertain about how we could convert it to a natural gas fireplace. Benny's sketches and estimate helped us envision the final product and convinced us to go ahead. His workmen were courteous and efficient - always making sure that we were satisfied. The end result was as good as advertised. We would employ Carter Construction again without hesitation.
