"They removed 2 bushes that were up on a berm in our yard; one was just woody remains of a dead bush, and the other was an ugly thinning bush. The crew dug them out, and replaced the mulch for one, and the decorative stones for the other. They also cleaned up the holes, so you never knew they were even there. Work was done quickly and clean-up was perfect."

"DO NOT HIRE THEM!! Their supposed "window professionals" sub contractors installed our bathroom window the wrong direction and we can't open it, so I am going to hire another company to fix it as I don't want to work with them anymore. They didn't double check the window size on a very large window before tearing old out and then realized window was bigger than opening. I had no choice but to allow them to cut bigger opening because siding that was scheduled couldn't go on until windows were finished so I was charged additional fees for their mess up. A lot of the "unforeseen issues" were from the subcontractors not double checking things or communicating with us in regards to the windows and doing things to run up a bill and I am being screwed over. 3 trips to do 6 windows because they only worked 4 hours a day. Also pulled old windows and just piled trash and broken glass from old windows in my front yard for an entire weekend until a different roofing sub contractors crew came following week and they cleaned up the window mess. Only thing done well was the siding and siding crew."

"Jay Burke came back to a home he had built for us in 2012 and finished the basement. He does not typically work on partial jobs, but since he built our home previously, he was happy to take it on. He added a 3/4 bath, large bedroom, finished storage area, and large family area. Final product is excellent. He had the framers who originally built the house come back and do all the framing, added HVAC, sheetrock, and everything else to deliver a superb final product. Build time was a couple months and price was less than I anticipated. Trim and all finishes match everything in the rest of the house. Jay Burke was again closely involved with all sub-contractors in the house and did a lot of the work himself. He only builds high quality products and it shows. Now having 3 building experiences with Jay Burke at Heartwood Homes, I cannot imagine how someone could not be very happy to work with him. Jay truly bends over backwards to make sure that things are done to the preferences of his customers and his build quality is excellent. I cannot thank him enough for what he's given our family. Great home to raise kids. Thank again Jay."
