He gave us free advice on how to fix our stove. He was punctual, really friendly, and knew exactly what he was doing. He has been doing it for a long time. He set up an appointment for us right away. There are not a lot of people where we live who would come out and fix such issues unless we purchase our appliances from them. As a result his price was high. Everything other than the price was really good.

The repair person came to look at the stove and said it needed the whole new computer element. The part had to be ordered and would be installed within a few days, he said. I didn't hear from them after three days. I called to find out the status and was told the stove was too old and therefore a part couldn't be found for the range. When I tried to let them know it was only 7 years old, they insisted, based on the model #, that it was 22 years old. I called the manufacturer myself, gave them the model and serial #, and was told when the range was manufactured. It was 7 years old, not 22 years old. I left this information with Watson appliance and heard nothing for over two weeks, after several messages being left. The manufacturer told me that the only way to know the age of an appliance is to have both model and serial #, which Watson refused to do no matter that I gave it to them myself. Once they finally returned my call about the true age of the range, then they had to order the part. It hadn't been done. It took three more weeks to get the part and someone in to repair the appliance. When I called the manufacturer, they informed me the part was available within two days. There was never any apology on the part of Watson appliance for the confusion, delay and miscommunication and unreturned phone calls. I did not experience that this company was concerned with me as a customer or was really interested in my business. The people that came to do the repairs were just fine. The problem was dealing with the company/office personnel.

Their office called to let me know the technician was on his way. He (Curt) arrived ahead of schedule. He was well prepared with tools and forms and was dressed professionally. He moved from machine to machine with efficiency and was able and very willing to answer all my questions and give advice for future self-diagnoses and purchases. Dishwasher needed a very minor adjustment to the rinse aid dispenser and he also gave the tip of using Tang in the soap dispenser to clean the dishwasher itself from time to time. MUCH cheaper than the products put out by dishwasher detergent manufacturers. Dryer was doing exactly what it was supposed to do, but he also explained how and why dryers cycle heat on and off and what effect that has on the drying time of clothes. Who knew that the perm press cycle was faster than the cotton setting! The washer was immediately diagnosed as needing a new transmission based on the reported problem and the amount of oil that had sprayed around, which was easily seen once the front cover of the washer was removed. The cost of a new transmission ($600 or so) was prohibitive and certainly not cost effective, so he gave me multiple ideas on which models were best for replacements, taking into consideration the amount of laundry to be done at a time and the type of floor in the laundry room. His recommendations were Whirlpool for top loaders and Maytag for front loaders. Avoid GE and Frigidaire washers. He wrote up the bill and was on his way. Total time was about 30-40 minutes.

They are friendly to deal with, which is very important. They were prompt. The refrigerator went out on a Saturday and they were able to work on it on Monday. They completed the job and they successfully diagnosed and fixed the problem.

The job went fantastic. I called on a Monday morning, and they scheduled the appointment for Tuesday during a 2 hour window. Even better, they were comfortable with me not being there. This was a rental property and the washer is in a common area so they did not need to get access to the private residences. The technician called at about 12:30 after checking the machine out. He told me what the problem was, and exactly how much it would cost. I asked him to look at fixing the leg or shoring it up, and he did so without charge. Also, the day after he was there, the technician called me to let me know that he noticed the laundry tub was slow to drain, and it was siphoning the water back into the washer. He thought that this could be causing the strain on the pump and should be unclogged. It was nice to have him suggest what the root of the problem was.

Great. Gary was very polite and helpful. He quickly hooked up the dryer and venting, found the reason for the dryer not heating and explained everything.

I have used them on other occasions and they are incredibly responsive and helpful. I will continue to use them. I trust them.

The original call was in July when our 5 year old oven began beeping and turning itself off and on. Rob identified the problem as a faulty computer control panel which they replaced. Unfortunately, the new part was also faulty, and replacement parts were unavailable nationwide until more were manufactured. My only gripe with Watson's was poor communication from their receptionist, who (after several reports of "should come in soon, maybe 4-6 weeks) finally fessed up that they were waiting for the part and had no idea when Whirlpool would actually manufacture it. When it finally came in in January, Rob and Seth came back and replaced the part. They also took extra time to heat the oven, wait for the rattling fan (15-20 minutes) and adjust it so it was quiet again at no extra cost. In spite of the delay, I would definitely hire them again. They are knowledgeable, honest and up front and weren't afraid to give tips on how I could take care of certain things to prevent more service calls.

Watson's was able to send someone within a few hours of my call for service. Gary was on time, and Watson's even called a few minutes before he arrived just to let me know he was close by. Gary took one look inside my refrigerator - he actually looked in the freezer first - and immediately diagnosed the problem. It seems this particular model builds up ice UNDER the floor of the freezer. He took out the plastic floor, and after a few minutes, was able to remove this enormous sheet of ice. Ice had also accumulated inside the walls of the refrigerator, and Gary said if I left the frig and freezer doors open, it would melt within a few hours... it did and all was right with the world. If I start seeing water leaking inside the refrigerator again, I'll know how to fix it. The bill was $95 but with the $25 Angie's discount coupon, I only paid the service call fee. I'd call them again in a heartbeat!

The service person arrived on time and completed the work within 15 minutes. He did a good job of explaining the work he was performing and why it was needed. The part has been performing great.
