St Croix Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

My husband and I thought Todd Jadwin was very professional and confident plumber. He was pleasant and I think you will like him.

All went well. I had forgotten the exact time of the appointment and he was VERY understanding of my not being quite prepared, which I really appreciated. The only problem, which was extremely minor, was that the escutcheon around the water pipe from the toilet to the wall was missing after the repair, (the valve broke during the toilet repair and a new valve needed to be installed) but I was told I could get a new one to fit around the pipe, and I was able to find one at Lowe's, and now it looks completely normal again. The repairs were well done as far as I can tell, and I plan to use St. Croix Plumbing in the future.

Our upstairs shower leaked through our ceiling into the kitchen below and we were completely overwhelmed by our insurance adjuster's recommendation to hire a plumber, a drywall specialist, and a bathroom/tile remodeler. After calling at least 5 different plumbers who all gave different information about what they could/could not do (if they even called back at all) along with getting extremely different price quotes from each one, I was about to give up. Feeling exhausted and defeated, I called one more company from Angie's List (St. Croix Plumbing & Drain Cleaning) and was IMMEDIATELY at ease when I spoke with Todd who completely understood the situation and without hesitation, knew what needed to be done. He was also the only contractor I spoke with who sounded professional, courteous, and knowledgeable on the telephone. He was able to schedule the appointment within a few days and given that some time had passed since we spoke, I convinced myself that he wouldn't remember and would be a no-show or he'd be really late (which is an experience we have w/ contractors far too often). Instead, he pulled up to the house right on schedule and did a fantastic job all around. He was very thorough in trying to get to the root of the problem and was able to provide fantastic recommendations. He had to cut through the drywall in our ceiling to get inside the core to see what was going on with the pipes and he did an excellent job in explaining everything throughout the entire process. He also did a great job cleaning up and was very personable. In the past we've used another highly respected/recommended plumbing company in the area and although they are easy to work with, they are also ridiculously expensive and were not willing to do cut into our drywall to look at the interior plumbing. I can't recommend St. Croix Plumbing enough and Todd is the only plumber we will work with in the future! Don't hesitate in calling him if you want a professional, thorough, and knowledgeable plumber working on your home.

Todd was very professional and timely diagnosing my problem and replacing my water heater while keeping the costs at a very reasonable amount. This was the first time I used this company. I selected them based off of all of the positive Angie's list reviews, so thank you to all that recommended them. Todd was prompt and very knowledgeable. The repair should have been a simple fix, but unfortunately when my house was built in 2000, the plumbers did not do a very good job at the original installation. (They installed the shower fixture right behind a stud wall so there was no room to access the problem without significant sheet rock removal and stud removal). Todd ran into many issues because of this, plus he found a small leak in the copper piping that was not discovered until he accessed the area. He was a great problem-solver and explained things to me as he went along. He even went to Menards with me (upon my request) to ensure I got the right parts as it ended up that I needed to replace the entire shower mechanism vs just the cartridge as I originally thought. He went above and beyond and fixed all the problems. I plan on using this company for an upcoming water heater replacement.

They were suppose to be at our house around 10 today and I just got a call that he was too backed up from yesterday and that he was cancelling our appointment. this would have been the first time we have used this company and due to the unprofessionalism in the call to cancel our appointment I will not use this company again going forward.

Very pleased with the work. Project turned into more than a basic faucet replacement as the old faucet fittings were completely rusted. Todd figured out a way to get them off through ingenuity and strength; not sure other plumbers would have been successful. Terrific attention to detail as well. He needed to remove and re-install the top of the pedestal, and did so with virtually no damage to the surrounding drywall. I expected some major post-job drywall and caulking work and afterwards needed to do almost nothing thanks to Todd's efforts.

Was scheduled for Tues at 8:00. He called the night before and said he would be delayed until noon. I was impressed that he would do that and not l leave me waiting. He showed up on time and performed the work I had for him. I had also wanted to see if my disposal could be hooked up again. After replacing our countertops a couple of years ago the disposal sat too low and we needed the connection into the wall lowered. After doing some cutting Todd determined that trying to hook it up was not feasible. He and his son cleaned up after finishing and did the work in a very professional way. I would not hesitate to call Todd again in the future.

Todd has been to our house several times, and I would never hire another plumber. He always responds quickly, he obviously knows what he is talking about (and I ask a LOT of questions), and is patient and friendly even when I am harried. His pricing is more than fair, and I am always happy with his work. I can't express enough the fact that I am difficult to please because I want things done right--Todd has never disappointed me. He is also a really good human being, and someone you can definitely trust in your home. I almost hate to recommend him to others because then he might not be available when I need him! :) But seriously, you can't go wrong if you call St. Croix Plumbing.

Very well. Todd jumped right in after another area plumber had been unable to repair the previous sink and had been a no show to install this one. It looks great, works great with no issues. Todd quotes $525 from the get go and we needed it done ASAP so I didn't quibble. It took him two hours to complete and I provided the sink/vanity and faucet so I wouldn't call this the bargain of the century but, still, the quality, professionalism of Todd's work is evident.

Fantastic. Got everything done right away. He also took a look at the upstairs bathroom sink as well to see if worth fixing- he's always been very straightforward on if is worth paying him to do the work to fix it vs waiting until it is replaced as well.

I was extremely impressed with the service. Todd showed up right on time, assessed the situation, and said he'd be back in a couple of hours with new water heater. He returned even earlier than expected and quickly installed everything. He thoroughly explained everything he was going to do and why it needed to be done. After the installation, he explained how to perform yearly maintenance, which was very important for me as a new homeowner. Todd brought his son to assist with the installation - both of them were incredibly courteous and professional. I highly recommend him and will be calling him for any of my future plumbing needs.

Todd performed excellent work on all of our plumbing needs. He was very responsive to calls and he exhibited a professional demeanor at all times. Several of our plumbing issues were not easy fixes, but he tackled them and when completed, I now feel that I will not have to worry about any sort of recurring problem. I appreciated Todd's reassurance throughout the frustrating process of dealing with so many plumbing issues after moving into our home, and his knowledge of plumbing and years of experience in the field are quite evident. We scheduled for him to arrive at 11. He arrived at 11 and stayed for about 15 minutes. He fixed the leak and did not charge me anything, not even a trip charge.

Todd came promptly at 8 AM. Our kitchen sink had been leaking around the house and i could not isolate it. Todd diagnosed the problem in minutes as a bad hose nozzle that needed replacing, something I can easily do. He would not accept anything even though there is a minimum visit charge. Professional, punctual, expert, and fair. These guys are my forever plumber
