first he tried to bid the job for $2500. I told him that was more than the pool stores charge. than he lowered his price to find the most I was willing to pay which was $1500. he told me he was a Mn licensed contactor which was a lie and he also states it on his proposal invoice. I reported him to the state at 651-284-5065 (1) (2) (1). 5 beams were 1/2 to1 inch to low. 2 pillar stuck out 1 to 2 inches from the rest. the wall seam was outside the pillar. the floor was 56 1/2 inches low because he did not put enough sand in it. he used fill sand instead of mason sand. the floor dept varied 2 1/2 inch throughout. he refused to fix the floor saying my expectations are too high. he said he did not know how to fix the floor other than to add portlan to the sand and cement the floor for another $500. no one cements above ground pool floors in Minnesota because they will crack. he said he did not know how to fix the hight of the pillars. I still owed him $750 for a total of $1500 and he said he would rather walk than fix this and get the remaining $750.. I have to have the pool taken down and done over so I am out the $750 I gave him.
Description of Work: he installed a above ground swimming pool 18ft x 33ft x 54 inches deep
