Our upstairs carpet was well past its prime. After contacting several hardwood flooring companies, it was clear Raven Hardwood Flooring was leaps and bounds above the rest. We received a detailed, timely estimate with different options for our budget. Jason and Arthur removed the old carpet and did a wonderful job installing our new red oak floors. They were on time every day and completed the work on schedule. It’s amazing what a difference hardwood makes, especially when paired with the professionalism, reliability and quality work of Raven Hardwood Flooring.

Both times he bid, Jason was professional, courteous, very patient with all my questions and generally a really nice guy. We hired Jason to do the loft floor install because his experience and knowledge here was really evident when speaking with him on site (and, in fact, he far surpassed that of the other installer we requested bid (who looked very puzzled by much of the work to be done). There have been a number of project management timeline complications on our loft project generally (NOT to do with Raven), and, with regard to the flooring, some tricky install points near the stair landing and railings to work around. Jason's level of skill and fastidiousness, especially in these areas, was exceptional. He was also incredibly flexible on our wonky timeline. After the install finished, he even came over with furniture leg pads and a starter floor care kit, showing us how to properly maintain our new hardwood floors. Now THAT is service! We will absolutely get Jason back in to refinish our ground floor when we're a bit further down the road, and I would not hesitate to recommend Raven's services in general. My only piece of advice: book them in with lots of advance notice – they're always busy (which is a very good sign)!
