+ 0 moreMarcie was great to work with, she understood the style I was going for (not suburban-boring landscaping), she was on time and accommodating of our schedule also. After the first design, which I liked a lot, I came up with a few other plants I was interested in incorporating in our landscape. Marcie had no problem with that, gave me detailed feedback and advice on which ones would work and which might not, so that we could modify the plan somewhat. Also, we had a lot of junk in our landscape (from a very prickly shrub to a hornet's nest to stubborn old plants and weeds to rocks and old pavers) - Marcie and her team removed all with no problem. They were able to carefully work around a few plants we wanted to keep along the foundation. They even saved the old pavers so they could be re-used if I wished, which I did because it saved $! They had to cut some of them to fit the new design, and they did that for us along with re-installing them for a very small fee. It all looks fantastic!
Description of Work: Green City came out to talk with me and view my yard, discuss styles (plants to match my historic home), preferences (maintenance level and types of plants) and sun/shade/soil issues. They then provided a visual (blueprint) design and a list of plants and cost. They also arranged for 8 arborvitaes and a dutch elm to be removed by a reputable firm (St. Croix tree service - see separate report). They prepared the soil (which had rocks and weeds throughout) removed and preserved old pavers, and planted according to plan. The work was professional, on time, and looks lovely!
