Description of Work: I was looking for a local tradesman carpenter to give me a quote on installing a 9x21 foot shed roof with four posts over a porch deck I had built at the front entrance (in a kind of L-shaped niche) on my home. I found this company on Craigs list and after several calls finally got them to come out and look at the project to give an estimate - just for the roof, posts and beam ( no decking rail or stair work) The two guys seemed pretty unsure of how to even do the low slope and tie in to the existing roof, but they guessed the two of them could do it in 3 days for between 3 to 5000 dollars. That seemed high to me since I already had a lot of the materials purchased (it came out to over $100 per hour according to my figures!). So I called back a day later and asked if they would work it for time and material. He said that would be fine and it would cost $1000/day for two men and 10 hours per day. He also said he could do a rough sketch up plan for me of the proposed porch roof line. Well that sounded like 50$/hr per man with a full day minimum to me so I agreed. Never heard from them again though I called and left messages.
