Master craftsmen who care!

When I made the initial call, they responded promptly and they were on time for the estimate. They got back to me in a very reasonable time with the estimate. I called them two to three times with some questions that I had and they answered them. He was going to do cabinets for me and at some point, I was thinking about paint it instead, but he was not upset about it.

It went well. They answered my questions and they brought in different samples of the doors. They would do different things for me and see if I liked the stain if they didn't have it in the shop. I thought that was really nice that they just made a sample door for me to keep and carry around to different places to match stains or whatever. They were cheaper than some others and they are even custom cabinets. Sometimes I thought they were coming and they didn’t.

From my first contact with Hutch's to the day the final moldings were put in place, every interaction was positive. The entire two month process moved along steadily and the whole kitchen remodeling project was fun and exciting. Hutch's cabinet shop is owned by Kyle Hutchinson. One of his employees, the former longtime owner of the business, is Charlie Taylor, whose 'people skills' rival his expertise as a cabinet maker. It was Charlie who first met with me to discuss plans for my new kitchen. He listened carefully, made a few suggestions, took measurements, and returned two days later with a set of sketches and a rough estimate of costs. A few months, several visits, and numerous plan adaptations later, I hired Hutch's to make my cabinets. There was no contract....just a handshake. Charlie plugged me into his network of building professionals., ie. plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc. They all worked together and stayed in sync as the project unfolded. There were very few glitches and the work progressed on schedule. My kitchen was completed two weeks ago, and it is a kitchen to die for! I couldn't be more pleased with the entire process, the phenomenal results, or the craftsmen who created it. The cabinet crew.... Kyle, Charlie, and Kevin....and others I never met.... all worked together to plan, build, finish, and install an absolutely fantastic kitchen. Not only did they install cabinets, they made custom window trim and moldings to match the cabinets, spent extra hours making sure that the new appliances fit perfectly, and that all the doors, drawers and hardware worked flawlessly. Charlie even spent several hours leveling the refrigerator so that the doors would open properly! He and Keven made extra visits for minor door adjustments and to add tiny moldings to a ceramic tile back-splash. They were always friendly, professional, and willing to make changes and improvements. While Hutch's doesn't use computerized designs, nor have a fancy showroom, they certainly do offer great customer service, good ideas, and fine craftsmanship at fair prices. I couldn't recommend them more highly.
