MLD TILE & MARBLE

We added a master bathroom to our home. I had called Rick on short notice to see if he was available to tile my new bathroom. He gave me an estimate and arrived at my home the following day to begin the work. Rick (owner) worked every day for 9 days to get the job complete. His son Chris helped him for the first four days. The end result was beautiful! Rick takes great pride in his work and it shows from start to finish. He does not and will not cut corners. I would highly recommend MLD Tile to anyone who asks.

Our bath tiles needed to be replaced because they started falling off and mold was starting to grow on the walls. We had used All City plumbing (Bret) for previous repair work and he recommended using MLD. MLD removed all the old tile and wet paperboard quickly in just a couple hours. Rick told me the old tiles were not installed with the right materials and the water was being absorbed into the walls. He said that once the new tiles were installed that they should last over 75 years. After the removal, we scheduled another time for Bret removed the old fixtures and installed new piping as needed. I was happy Bret made the suggestion to move the shower head location a few inches higher so we didn't have to slouch while showering.Before Bret would leave, he always asked if there was anything else he could do for us. The next step was the full day of installing the tiles by MLD. Since it was bitter cold outside, Rick had to set up the saw in our kitchen. Everything in the kitchen was protected under a heavy-duty cloth which I greatly appreciated. Rick was very nice throughout the whole day while I worked in the office. I had no complaints. After all the tiles were installed, we scheduled time for Bret to come out and install the new fixtures. Once completed, all I wanted to do was take a shower. It's beautiful. My co-workers loves the photos of the finished project.

It was a fantastic experience working with Rick. He has 30+ years experience, is very confident in his abilities to handle anything that comes along and warranties his work. He has a sunny personality and was a pleasure to have around, conscientious of keeping things clean and organized and being non-intrusive. I trusted him completely with a key. I'd had the bathroom remodeled in 2004 and it was done terribly. I'd hated the bathroom everyday until redoing it. He was very understanding of my past experience and hesitancy in hiring someone again. He was motivated to change my experience and especially enjoys working with people that have had a bad experience. I love the bathroom and loved working with him. I did need to be without a bathroom for 2 weeks. He warned me of this and suggested a "camper toilet." That worked out fine. It was well worth the great bathroom that I now have. I needed some plumbing, carpentry and painting done and he recommended some exemplary people to me that I hired and also had a great experience with.

I have contracted Rick before, and he always does a great job. Very professional and easy to relate to. He coordinated well with other contractors I was using at the time. He obviously has a lot of experience and provided some good tips.

HE DID A REALLY GOOD JOB OF INSTALLING THE NEW TILE AND HE BLENDED THE REPAIRED SECTION OF THE WALL VERY WELL. HE DID A REALLY NICE JOB AND IS AN ARTIST ABOUT HIS WORK. HIS PRICING WAS REASONABLE FOR THE WORK PERFORMED. HE IS VERY PERSONABLE AND EASY TO GET ALONG WITH.
