First, the dispatcher was outstanding. Polite, knowledgable and professional she didn't just take the call but did triage - diagnosing that the plugged drain could be causing the basement leak. She suggested that a drain specialist could resolve the leak by unplugging the drain first - which would save us money by not having to hire a plumber. But just in case a plumber was required for the basement leak and to ensure we could get one same day, she sent the drain technician ASAP to our house. Zach got there within 20 minutes and went to action immediately. As with the dispatcher he was polite, professional and knowledgable. He inspected the kitchen sink and the basement and asked a long series of detailed questions to properly assess the situation. He agreed with the dispatcher that a plumber may not needed and that unplugging the drain might fix both problems . He then went to work and within 30 minutes both the plug and leak had been fixed. Zach then spent the next 30 minutes running tests and inspecting the pipes to ensure the plug was gone and nothing was leaking or would leak after he left. In addition he gave me a helpful drain care 101 lesson to avoid future plugged drains. Finally he cleaned up after himself before leaving and asked that we call him/Norblom if the problem recurred. 145 may seem like a lot to some just to unplug a drain but given the quality of service provided by the dispatcher and Zach and the fact that together they saved me from the greater expense of hiring a plumber - the 145 was a real bargain.

It went great. They were on time and did a great job! Very nice and professional guy did the work.

Very conflicted on this review. The work itself was done very well and the plumber was very pleasant and professional. But the bad: Plumber was 1hr late on initial appointment. I called wondering where he was, sounds like a scheduling mistake. I can live with a simple mistake once. Plumber looked at the faucet and had to order a replacment for broken part. One week goes by and I havent heard from the plumber. I called and was told I would get a call back shortly. Never got a response. Called next day, told again I would get a call back. No response. Emailed the owner, finally got a call and they replaced the part the following day (10 min job). Was told I would get a discount after being late initially, didnt happen. Was told I would be taken care of following the delays and lack for returned phone calls, nothing again.

This company is fantastic! Andrew called to let me know he was on his way and when he arrived, he listened to what I had to say about the issue with low water pressure in my upstairs shower. Unlike other plumbers who immediately told me that I needed to have the pipes replaced, Andrew went upstairs and checked out the water pressure in the shower/tub, the sink and the toilet. He then went into the main floor bathroom, did the same and then went into the basement and looked at the pipes. He did notice that one pipe was smaller than the other but didn't think that was the root cause. He believes the issue is due to the Delta fixture that was installed during the remodel. He called Delta, had them ship a replacement part (free of charge!) and I will be setting up a 2nd appointment for him to install the fixture to see if this is the problem. Thank you Norblom. Amazing service --- a company you can trust.

- more than leaky actually falling apart! Paul repiped (is that a word?) and added some washers all in under an hour and under $200.00 - great professional service - would definitely recommend and i would not hesitate to call Norblum again if i need plumbing work done.

I was so impressed with these guys. The city told me that my exposed gas line had to be buried as soon as possible. I talked to Mike on the phone, he was informative, reassuring when I told him I was worried about a gas accident, and quick to get Paul here for an estimate the next day. Paul showed up on time, explained the process to me in detail, and gave me an estimate that was easy to understand and fair. An appointment was set for the following week, cancelled because of rain, and then Paul and Mike showed up on time on the following Tuesday. After turning off the gas, they spent the morning digging a trench, jackhammering old cement, and laying down the new copper piping. The afternoon was spent tracking down two small gas leaks on a stove and the furnace. Paul ended up having to crawl around underneath the house in the crawl space, and I didn't hear one word of complaint from him. Both Paul and Mike were informative, cheerful and kind to my grandchildren who kept knocking on the window and waving for attention. The next day Paul arrived at 7:30, just as he said he would, to meet the city inspector who got here an hour late. Paul was courteous to the late inspector, finished covering up the new trench and piping and was on his way by 9:30. I've had many plumbers here over the years. These two were by far the most professional and easy to have on the premises. I will definitely call Norblom for any future plumbing needs.

Great. The plumber showed up on time, was very courteous and knowledgeable. We were concerned that this was going to be an expensive fix, but he found that it was only a small problem, cleared the drain, and gave us advice on how to avoid the problem in the future. We would definitely call them again!

Wonderful! Jim arrived early after calling and asking if he could come before the scheduled "window." He performed all the work requested quickly and properly. He has done previous work for me in my current home and work in my previous home. On a previous visit he assessed the problems and provided expert advice on how to schedule these repairs and obtain parts, so I was able to have everything ready to go to work the moment he arrived. I will use Norblom again.

Kurt arrived right on time and got to work immediately after answering a few questions that I had. The job was completed quickly and professionally and the materials and labor costs were about dead-on what we had estimated over the phone while setting up the appt. Most importantly our water pressure has probably doubled from what it was before the work so we are very satisfied.

I called Norblom Plumbing this morning and they were able to send Zach out as early as i needed. Zach showed up on time. He was very nice and helpful. He unclogged the drain and waited for the water in my basement to drain. He also gave me some helpful tips on how to fix the problem for good. I would definitely use Norblom Plumbing again!

Zach was very pleasant, courteous and had a great sense of humor He was able to unclog the drain in a matter of minutes. He also provided suggestions for how to prevent the clog in the future, and even gave me a tip for how to sanitize my garbage disposal which I thought I might be having issues with. I will definately use Norblom Plumbing again, and highly recommend them.

They came in not knowing what they were walking into and the gentleman by the name of Andrew fixed the situation. It turned out to be not as easy as we had thought but he came up with some suggestions and we took his advice and one of them worked out well.

It went wonderfully! The plumber, Curt, I think ... my memory is bad ... arrived quickly, as promised, went right to work, got pipes replaced and everything working. Couldn't have asked for better service.

I installed a gas dryer myself, then smelled gas after starting the first load. Had CenterPoint out to check, the guy was surprisingly dumb, but confirmed gas was present where it shouldn't be. Norblom came out, fixed a previously unknown issue with the duct, and checked my work on the fittings. He figured it was a problem with the unit itself, which has since resolved itself (for now, will update if this changes). They came out within a few hours and the guy was super friendly and helpful. This is the second time I've had them out. The first time they were similarly helpful with my sump pump problem, and similarly priced. I guess that's just what it costs. At the end of the day, the price seems well worth it.

Plumber was on time. He ended up putting a new flapper in the toilet for me and assessing the pipe that had leaked which did not need any further work at this time. He seemed condescending, like I was putting him out for doing this simple repair. I also asked him to take a quick look at a shower which had low pressure because he is being paid on TIME and not per job. He did and recommended a new shower head, easy enough and I said I'd do it myself, but after he had a condescending attitude and asked "Is that it?". I said yes, paid and while he did a good job putting in a new flapper his professionalism was lacking, might use this company again if had a different plumber.

Started noticing problems with my kitchen faucet last night and called Norblom Plumbing this morning after finding them on Angies List. They were able to send someone out in 1/2 hour, which was great because it was leaking under the sink and I would not have been able to continue using my kitchen faucet and sink. Andrew was very pleasant and professional. He installed a new faucet, explaining that it would cost almost as much to repair the problem and with a new faucet, it would last longer and have a warranty. He was clean and efficient, finishing the job in about 45 minutes to an hour. The new faucet looks and works great. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing a plumber.

I was prepared for an appointment on Tues but Amy called from Norblom and said they had a cancellation so a tech was available that day if I had time. I was given a two hour block when their tech would arrive, and he did so just 25 min into that window. Jim was professional and all business from the start. He donned his protective foot wear and assessed the situation as I explained the history of the issues. He detailed what was causing the water seize and said he had the part in his truck but forewarned me it was unfortunately an expensive part but was basically the brains of the tub/shower operation. Had it not been for a rather uncooperative set screw, I think Jim would have had the part replaced in a matter of minutes. As it was, he wrestled loose the screw, disengaged the unit, cleared the pipes of debris, replaced the cartridge, and re-soldered a leaky copper pipe in the basement quicker than I can write this review. When finished, he asked if I had any questions and gave me a few ideas on a new shower head now that our water pressure was superb. Thanks to Norblom Plumbing I now have a new "go to" plumbing company I won't hesitate to call on in the future. Ps. Norblom is upfront about their pricing structure. They charge for "time and material" as opposed to the "flat rate" many companies quote. In my experience working with service companies, "time and material" charges are more fair to the consumer than the uber-inflated "flat rate" charges used to drive up costs.

Phone Call was friendly and professional. Tech (Zach) arrived within the hour. Tech was friendly and professional, not in a rush, but not stalling for time either. Work was completed within 30 minutes and tech cleaned up after himself. Charges were very fair. Very satisfied overall!

Zach arrived very close to the start of the 2 hour window I was given, and I could tell he was as efficient as he could be in snaking out the drain. He used a much heavier duty snake that's I have. He was courteous and friendly, and I could tell he knew what he was doing. I know he left the area under the sink and the floor cleaner than it was when he arrived!

We performed a temporary fix and called Norblom (based on their great ratings on Angie's List) on Monday. Jim arrived on time and quickly assessed the problem. Our house if mid-century and the drain is original. As we talked about the kitchen (I don't plan a remodel soon but wanted a new faucet), we agreed on a return date. Norblom installed a new sink, faucet, water supply for the dishwasher and repaired the drain. Jim was friendly, explained the work needed ahead of time, explained what was done and completed the job quickly. I would definitely call Norblom again - Jim was an A+ provider for sure!
