They did a good job. They were professional, informative, and I was very pleased with their service. They finished all repairs and installs in a timely manner.

Jim came out to give us an estimate to repair the faucet in our master bath shower. He arrived at the exact time he said he would. He was honest about the cost to try to repair the old system and suggested replacement might be the better option. He also suggested that if we had any intention of retiling the old tub surround that it would be best to do both jobs at the same time. He gave us an estimate for the cost of installing a new fixture, but also explained that most tilers have their own plumbers that they coordinate schedules with. Jim was professional and extremely helpful. We will call them again for our plumbing needs.

We have used Jim Peterson at Norblom for several years now and always ask for him when we need plumbing service. Jim is very bright, knowledgable in his field, cordial and gets the job done right the first time. I trust him completely. This job required disassembling of an expensive kitchen faucet to replace a bearing ring that had corroded. Jim had never done this task with this model faucet before, but he figured it out and made a perfect repair.

The plumber assigned was Jim who has been with the firm fifteen years. It speaks volumes when an employee speaks highly of their firm and he did. He explained everything clearly, obviously had great experience in older homes, described options and his recommendations, did the work efficiently, showed me everything he did, encouraged me to call if I had any concerns or questions after he left, cleaned up the mess nicely. While here I described an air conditioner issue I had and the fact I had called for that to be repaired. He looked at it, checked a condensation pipe, removed it and found that was the issue. So, that saved me a separate bill for an air conditioner call. Jim gets an A+ and will be called to this property again.

Great service from top to bottom. Easy quote on the phone, showed up on time (at the beginning of the time window even), done in under an hour, met price quote/no surprise costs. Very professional/clean/helpful as well.

Service can only be rated as Totally Superb !! Our garbage disposal developed a hole last Thursday. We called a plumber that we had used before but could only get their voicemail and a message saying to go to their website and request service. It was about 9am on Friday so I went to their website and filled out the request for service and commented that the service wasn't an emergency but I did need to know if they could provide the service on a certain day (the following Tuesday) so I could arrange for the time off work. I didn't hear from them all day so I searched Angie's List and found Norblom Plumbing . . . and based on their outstanding long term ratings I decided to give them a call . . . and was extremely pleased when somebody answered the phone after the first ring. They were very busy because of the rain associated problems currently in Minnesota, but they were still polite, courteous and very professional and after talking for a few minutes we set up an service appointment the following Tuesday between 12pm and 2pm and they even said the plumber's name is Jim that would be coming out. They told me about Norblom Plumbing and how their service charge is calculated, which seemed to be a much fairer way than most plumbers have. Anyway, jump ahead to Tuesday and at 11:50am Jim from Norblom Plumbing pulled into the driveway. Not only was Jim early, but he was totally cheerful, polite and professional. He first of all started to replace the garbage disposal but there was a problem with a part on the new disposal. Jim took a couple minutes to try and fix it so it would work but he couldn't get it to work so he called the shop to have them send somebody to our house with a new disposal. Jim also deducted 15 minutes from the service time for the short time he tried to make the part work since he said that wasn't part of the installation and certainly nothing that the customer should pay for. Anyway, Jim went on to replace the laundry tub faucet assembly and just before he was finished the Norblom employee showed up with the new disposal and Jim was able to continue without delay. All the service was performed professionally, on time and with no surprises . . . the total cost was even less than I had thought it would be. We would certainly use Norblom Plumbing (especially Jim) in the future and would highly recommend their service.

I called Norblom based on the ratings I saw at Angie's List. I called on Monday and asked for an appointment on Thursday. I was told no problem and that the window was between 9:00 and 11:00 AM. It wasn't until around 10:30 that I got a call saying he was having issues at his current location and couldn't make it until 11:30. I asked how long he thought the job would take. He said seven minutes. I said no problem, but that I did need to leave by 12:30. He called around 11:15 to say he was going to be there by around 11:30, but did not arrive until a few minutes later due to weather related road closures. He and I assumed that I needed a short-shank valve but when he removed the old one it turned out to be a long-shank. He tried the short-shank, but it did not work and did not have one in his truck. He created his own long-shank using a piece of already threaded copper tubing and a connector (An A for creativity). However, that didn't fit due to the close proximity of the water heater to some duct work. With my permission he used a hard rubber mallet on the duct work to create the room needed to make it fit. All the time he was conscious of the fact that I needed to leave by 12:30. He was done just after Noon. I could tell he has seen all sorts of gotcha's with this type of job and used his experience to complete the job with a solution that will allow me to replace it on my own should I need to do it again. All at a price I am happy with. I will definitely use Norblom again.

Norblom found the source of a troublesome leak and gave the right advice on how to correct it. I appreciate having a provider be able to come out to the house for under a hundred dollars. I cancelled a different company that would have charged $150.00 or more to come out to look at the leak.

Mike was fast, did a clean job, very professional, friendly, punctual. Will surely use them again.

They were excellent. We’ve had them here more than once. They arrived on time. They’re professional. They know what they’re doing and they get it done. I think their charges are reasonable compared to others we had in the past.

Norblom plumbing may not be the cheapest guys around, but the quality of work is excellent. They have unclogged drains for me, switched out my utility sink and are usually early. In addition, I can usually get a same day or next day appt. And they take credit cards, so I get airline miles. As a mom of 4 kids, I'm sure I smell like breastmilk, peanut butter and crayons, but I do notice how these guys smell. There's no B.O. smell, but lots of tobacco use.

Norblom was excellent from start to finish. My water heater died over the weekend. They returned my call Sunday and replaced it the next day first thing in the morning. Price was better than the other two I called, and the fact that they specialized in water heater was the clincher. I have already recommended them to a friend who has a very old water heater and is thinking about replacing it before it dies on him.

I talked to a number of plumbers to get details on what this job would take. Norblom seemed the most knowledgeable about what I needed to do and a very competitive price. They installed the sump pump, told us how to work it, and answered all of our questions. We feel we worked with a very professional company with high integrity.

Great phone conversation with lots of advice - I asked a lot of other plumbing related questions. Drain guy is separate from the plumbers, only does the drain part of the business. Younger guy, very friendly and professional, does not try to sell you more drain cleaning than you need. In fact, we thought we should proactivley clean drains beyond the one that was clogged and he said it wasn't really worth doing! He was by far the least expensive choice. Got the drain flowing within an hour or so and was on his way. It's been trouble free since. Will definitely use them for any future plumbing or drain needs.

Paul is great! We are first time home owners and dropped a key down into our disposal. He showed us how to get it out if it happened again and how to reset the disposal. While he was here, I showed him other projects that I was considering. He gave some ideas and gave me a coupon for a free estimate. We were very impressed with his services!

Norblom was responsive and efficient in responding to our requests at my rental condo. My tenants commented that Mike was very professional and enjoyed their conversation during his visit. All repairs fixed the issues. Would definitely recommend!

I contacted Norblom Plumbing based on all of the positive reviews on Angie's List. I corresponded with them via email and they were very responsive. I was not home when the work was done as my spouse was there, but I understand the plumber arrived on time, was friendly and professional, and got the job done in the same amount of time as was stated in our estimate. We love our new faucet and are so happy we had a professional do the work instead of trying to figure it out ourselves. My spouse had even inquired about installing a garbage disposal at some point and the plumber gave his honest opinion of garbage disposals (positives and negatives) and I appreciate that he was honest instead of automatically trying to sell us something just to make a sale.

He arrived on time (at 9:30 AM). They had given me a 2 hour window from 9-11AM. He had the necessary handles available and the job was done within 1/2 hour. He was pleasant and answered any questions we had. I was very pleased with the service provided.

The service turned out well and everything is working again. The technician did a great job and explained everything he did. Scheduling them out was pretty easy.

Jim came out, evaluated the existing decades-old pump and repaired it, indicating that if it failed again that replacement was our best option. It failed again within days, and Jim came out and replaced it with a new one. He advised us to bring in a well service expert to address additional issues that were part of our system ,which we did, with very good results. Jim was informative, timely, neat, on schedule and we would recommend him to anyone.

Our basement floor drain had backed up sewage - disgusting! Zach was prompt - in fact, he was 15 minutes early - and professional. He worked very hard for over two hours to pull masses of tree roots out of the sewer line, having to change sizes of cutters repeatedly. It began to look like there was a break in the sewer line somewhere, but Zach kept working and managed to clear the drain. We will follow his suggestion and call him again in a year to clear the line before it becomes a problem!

Jim was great. He was efficient, explained the issues and options for repair in a clear manner, and was great to work with. I've been happy every time I've had someone from Norblum out do work at our house. Plumbers are never cheap, but I always feel that we get good value from them

They did a very good job. This job required some extra work since there were two sump pumps and they did it in a timely fashion.

We called Norblom Plumbing as we had used them in the past and been happy. They came and hooked up a new sink that we had had installed and installed the faucet to the new sink. They also reattached the water line in the basement to the main water pipe as it had been disconnected by former owners. The water line was then hooked up with the refrigerator to enable the water dispenser to work. They checked carefully for leaks and found none. They were going to also attach a new dishwasher, but didn't have the right parts they needed to stabilize the dishwasher to the quartz counter top. We appreciated them being honest and not trying to do something they weren't sure about. We later had an appliance company come out to get the dishwasher up and running. We were pleased again with Norblom plumbing and would hire again if needed.
