17 employees. No subcontractors! For service or repairs, our rates are determined by time & material (how long the truck is onsite - NO TRIP FEES). For water heaters, we charge by the job and we can give fairly accurate quotes over the phone with some information/pictures from you. REMODELING: We offer FREE quotes fr Angie's List customers. We do charge extra for after hours service. Emergency services is only offered on warranty work. You can contact through email. Award winning. Family owned. Norblom Plumbing is licensed to work anywhere in the State of Minnesota. The main service area is the seven county metro area, outside the seven county area we apply travel fees. I DID NOT HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER THE PRICE OR EVEN THE CHOICE OF NORBLOM OVER OTHER PLUMBERS, SINCE SEARS PROVIDED NORBLOM AS A CONTRACTOR (I BOUGHT THE RANGE AT SEARS, WHO CHARGED ME $200 FOR THE CONNECTION AND INSTALL, AND THEN PASSED ME OFF TO NORBLOM). HOWEVER, GIVEN THE CHOICE, I WOULD HAVE NORBLOM DO THIS SORT OF WORK AGAIN. THE PERSON WHO DID THE WORK KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING, AND WAS WILLING TO SPEND A LITTLE EXTRA TIME SHOWING ME EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING (I.E. HOW TO BE CAREFUL TURNING ON THE GAS AT THE MAIN, TO AVOID DAMAGING THE REGULATOR, ETC.)
Description of Work: NORBLOM INSTALLED A NEW GAS FEED AND THEN CONNECTED THE FEED TO A NEW GAS RANGE.

I PURCHASED A FAUCET ON MY OWN BUT IT DID NOT FIT. THEY WAVED THE $75 TRIP FEE FOR THE SECOND TIME THEY CAME OUT.
Description of Work: THEY RESPONDED TO MY CALL IMMEDIATELY AND SET A DATE WITHIN TWO DAYS TO HAVE THE WORK DONE. THEY INSTALLED A NEW TUB FAUCET. I REQUESTED A $140 FAUCET. INSTALLATION TOOK TWO HOURS. THEY LEFT NO MESS AND I WOULD CALL THEM AGAIN BECAUSE OF THEIR QUICK RESPONSE AND COURTESY.
