Excellent! Very professional. I asked a lot of questions, and he answered ALL of them! I will work with this company on my next plumbing project.

Top quality work, professional installation, very pleased.

We spoke with seven plumbing firms about the job. What we found was that most firms were very vague about exactly what model water heater they would install although they were upfront about the manufacturer. Inevitably, most were quoting prices for a low-end lower efficiency water heater whereas we were interested in somewhat higher efficiency water heater. To deviate from what they installed regularly seemed to present a lot of difficulty to most firms. Norblom Plumbing had a refreshingly different attitude. When I indicated we were interested in a recirculation system in addition to a water heater, I was referred to Pete Trular. Pete would quote a price on any model of Bradford White water heater we were interested in, and he researched recirculation systems. Pete maintained good communication throughout the decision process and in the end, the Norblom bid was similar to or lower than other bids we received. We felt Norblom had gone the extra mile to be helpful.

We had been experiencing greenish granules coming through our water system for more than a year. We heard a variety of explanations for what they could be: hot water scale, copper pipe corrosion, water softener zeolites, and degraded dip tube in the hot water heater. We received advice including installing a whole house water filter, replacing the water softener, replacing the water heater dip tube, and replacing the hot water heater. After we replaced an old water heater, the particle problem got worse until upstairs hot water flow was a trickle. We needed a quick fix and chose to get professional help. We selected Norblom Plumbing because we had a good experience with them in the past, and we requested Jim Peterson in particular because of his excellent work. He was available in just a few days, arrived on time and fixed the problem.

Very helpful on phone and professional in installation and repair. However, the dispenser provided was a cheaper model than expected. Any dispenser from them had a 100% markup, but they don't guarantee work on materials purchased elsewhere. Overall, it was more expensive than expected.

Expensive for quality of heater installed. I wanted 12 year warranted heater, but they only stock 6 year models. They offered to extend the warranty to 10 years for additional charge. This is small consolation knowing that in only 6 years, our basement likely will be flooded again. No estimate of charges was provided in advance; no itemization of charges on invoice; no listing of savings from mentioning the Angies List discount. You may ask why I did allow the work without an estimate, but the need for hot water trumped logic. Prompt and polite installer. He draped floor with drop clothes to protect carpet. Reasonable workmanship.

I am very pleased with their customer service, response time and quality of work. They were able to come within a day of calling and gave me several options on services required for our new house. I was very impressed and would highly recommend them.

The person I talked to on the phone was very informative and helpful. We didn't end up going with this company since we found a water heater with a longer warranty from a different company that cost less.

The person on the phone was pleasant, but really not at all helpful when it came to getting any information as to what type of work was needed and how much we could expect to pay (range of price). Ended up going with a different plumber who cost half as much and who answered his own phone and was able to be much more specific as to how the repair would proceed, options for repair, and best and worst case scenario.

I got a 10% Angie's list discount. They came out on the day I called and got done in a minimal amount of time.

THEY WERE PRETTY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE CONSIDERATE OF THE HOMEOWNERS SCHEDULE. THEY DIDNT TRACK THINGS IN, WHICH I HAVE HAD OTHER SERVICE PEOPLE DO IN THE PAST. EVERYTHING WORKS.

Excellent, excellent service. We called, and Chris came right out. It was not a water pipe but a ventilation pipe (water had been sucked up into it and rusted out a hole). The toilet leaked between the tank and stool and bolts attaching the toilet to the floor had rusted away. Chris was friendly and honest (explaining everything), and he worked fast and saved us money by re-using our old parts and replacing those that warranted it. I will most definitely use Norblom in the future. Chris was great!!!

What can I say? Mike willingly and cheerfully helped me fix the problem myself over the phone for no charge whatsoever. Talk about outstanding service! And he was genuinely happy that I had fixed it when I called him back. You simply cannot find that level of customer service much any more, in my opinion. I assured Mike that when the time came to do some major plumbing upgrades in the future (we're going to re-do one of our bathrooms), I would be calling Norblom Plumbing!!! By the way, while the company did not "literally" do any work, I consider the time Mike spent on the phone, as well as his sharing of his expertise, enough ''work'' to justify including this in my ratings, especially because I don't want this report to be treated as if no work was done.

When I called, rates were clearly explained. I set the day I wanted the work done. They called me the day before with the time the plumber would arrive. Plumber was right on time. He was friendly and didn't mind me looking over his shoulder while he did the work. He told me how he would repair the leak. Space was very tight and the repair was difficult because of that factor. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time and professionally done. I am satisfied with the results.

Alex was great. He was very helpful in identifying a replacement toilet that met our requirements, and he coordinated the carpentry and other work without any hassle to us. The work was done in an apartment with very picky tenants, and even they were pleased with the work and the process of Alexs crew being in their place. The work that was incomplete when they "finished" (a threshold was missing) was completed very quickly when they were notified, and the work is impeccable! Im almost anxious to need more plumbing work done to have them come back!

WORK WAS DONE VERY PROMPTLY AND TO OUR SATISFACTION.

THEY WERE COMMUNICATIVE ABOUT MIX-UPS WE HAD, AND THEY WERE UP-FRONT ABOUT EXPENSES. THEY SAVED ME MONEY BY SUGGESTING CHEAPER SUPPLIES. LABOR RATES ARE GREAT. THE PART'S RATES ARE EXPENSIVE, BUT THEY WILL USE YOUR CHEAPER PARTS INSTEAD.

The estimate was done for $75 which was deducted from price. Pete gave the estimated cost of work and gave some other information about my plumbing but made no "pitches" for additional work. I appreciate that. Both Pete, who did the estimate, and the experienced master plumber, who did work one week later, were very pleasant and professional. The hot water pressure is great and new gas line to the kitchen is much more flexible and better located. I am glad I spent the money.

We had the crew out three times for this job. They always showed up when scheduled. In fact they were able to work us in the day before Christmas eve so we had a functioning kitchen for Christmas. Like most old homes, ours had problems left by earlier plumbing jobs. Alex helped us around some of the difficulties and was able to get the inspector to approve our plan without a major renovation of our entire second floor, which I feared might have to happen.

Todd was on time, thorough, and informative during the installation. Despite the additional expense ($109.90) for parts to upgrade our plumbing, we are confident that the work he performed, will endure.

Norblom has been great every time I call them. Would have come that day if I had needed them.

IT WAS QUALITY WORK, I JUST THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT UNDERSTANDABLE WITH THE AMOUNT OF LABOR INVOLVED.

Initial visit was for a new water heater but was advised to keep the current heater and replace the galvanized pipes. This was the problem not the hot water heater. In the end I avoided replacing a good water heater.

NORBLOM (MIKE LARSON/SVC MGR. & JIM P./PLUMBER) WERE WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH. MANY PLUMBING CONTRACTORS I CONTACTED, WOULD NOT DO THE WORK BECAUSE EITHER THEY DID NOT SELL THE UNIT, IT WASN'T THEIR BRAND, THEY COULDN'T GET THE JOB TO FIT INTO THEIR FLAT-RATE PRICE CHART, OR THEY JUST PLAIN DIDN'T WANT TO DO IT. MIKE WORKED WITH ME WHILE I WAS WORKING WITH THE FACTORY TO GET THE DETAILS OF WHO PAYS WHAT, HOW THE NEW UNIT GETS DELIVERED, WHO TAKES THE OLD ONE, AND WHO PAYS FOR THE REQUIRED CITY PERMIT KIND OF DETAILS IRONED OUT. HIS TIME AND MATERIALS QUOTE WAS VERY DETAILED AND COVERED EACH COST CLEARLY. (NOTE: THIS IS A DIFFICULT AND EXPENSIVE PROCESS FOR BOTH THE HOMEOWNER AND DEALER) NORBLOM'S LABOR RATES WERE FAIR AND PROCESS PASS-THROUGH COSTS UNDERSTANDABLE. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO CALL MIKE & JIM AT NORBLOM THE NEXT TIME I NEED PLUMBING ASSISTANCE.

EXCELLENT QUALITY WORK, FAST, BUT VERY HIGH PRICES. QUOTED $130 FOR THE FIRST HOUR, AND $50 EVERY HALF HOUR AFTER THAT. SINCE HE WENT OVER THE FIRST HOUR BY ROUGHLY 5 MINUTES, THE PRICE BECAME $180. ALSO, I NOTE WE WERE CHARGED $18 FOR 5 RUBBER O-RINGS, WHICH ALSO SEEMS A BIT EXCESSIVE.
