Description of Work: We needed to repair our sewer line from the house to the street to meet new local inflow/infiltration requirements. They were friendly as well as professional. They provided an estimate. Upon arrival and further inspection, they determined that the problem could be solved with less work. They lined our sewer pipes and did not need to seriously dig up our yard. We saved about $1,000 over the original estimate, not to mention saving our landscaping. They also were careful to replace dirt and sod with minimal disruption.

Description of Work: Dug outside to replace section of sewer drain. I have no idea if price was reasonable as getting estimates is low on priority list when dirty water backs up from floor drain. They solved our problem completely.

Description of Work: I was having trouble finding a contractor to do some work in a specific area. Others had just said "Nope, we don't do work there". Mr Swanson does not work in the area either, but he was the only one that took the time to offer suggestions on how to find someone that did work in the area.

Protected surrounding area with tarps....and even placed two cut sections of sidewalk back into place to keep costs down. Its hard to tell they were even there now...and this was just a couple weeks ago. Daniel was great to work with...I could tell he knows his business and wanted to make sure I was happy with the results.
Description of Work: Excavated front yard/removing 2 sections of sidewalk-repaired broken sewer line.

+ 1 moreThey are wonderful and really good. They are a specialty company that works with large heavy machinery to repair sewer connections to the street. They do a great deal of work for our city and they were recommended from people who work for the city. They saved the trees; most companies would have demolished the trees. We really like them and the price was reasonable. We have talked to them over the phone about another problem and they were able to solve.
Description of Work: We used Highview Plumbing. They came and very carefully excavated down to the pipe around a clump of birch trees.

+ -1 moreNot much to tell. As Dan ran the camera he explained what we were seeing. To my relief the line looked great. Since we had just had it cleaned we really could see that the line was in good repair.
Description of Work: Dan ran a camera down our main clean out drain in the basement to check the line for problems.

+ 0 moreExcellent work. Crew was timely and professional. Got the job done even though there were a few surprises. Owner treats his crew respectfully, which I liked and owner made a professional effort to do as little harm to my hosta garden as possible. His hourly rate as a master plumber is lower than the average. Highview did a stellar job for us and at a reasonable price especially since they unexpectedly found a left-behind cesspool from days of yore. Highview also managed to leave our sidewalk and stone wall perfectly intact.
Description of Work: Excavate front yard. Repair broken sewer pipe leading to street, fill in cesspool (really) left when 100 year-old house was hooked to city sewer. Fill excess space with fill.

+ -1 moreIt was a great experience. Dan did an excellent job. He had the right equipment for the job and got the job done quickly and cleanly. Dan had a pneumatic device that could bore underground from my house to the water main so we did not have to dig up my backyard. He was efficient and conscientious. He did an excellent job. On the finer points, Dan laid drop cloths everywhere and cleaned up after himself when the job was done, and that separates the good from the best, in my opinion.
Description of Work: We bought an older house that was still on well water. Dan hooked us up to the city water main.
