Excellent service from all employees.

Steeleman's had told me to start the contract in December. Howeever, in November, we had one snow storm. The owner was up in the North. He came back to Twin Cities to take care of customers. He cleaned the driveway quickly. This extra work outside the contract was $30. Last weekend I was away and it snowed about 4-5 inches. I worried about my wife and children. The company came on time and cleaned the driveway nicely. Thank you for taking care of my family. I think having a contract is a good idea. Hopefully the service will remain good throughout the season. If something goes wrong or not up to the standard that I want, I will report here. As far as today, we are very happy.

I called last night explaining I would need to hire someone for our lawn care this summer. I was called back quickly within 30 minutes. I agreed to the pricing for our yard. Agreed to hire him right away then I asked when we could expect him out. He asked if the it needed to be cut now and I stated yes. he indicated he would be out tomorrow or the next day. By 9:30 AM next day by lawn was mowed and trimmed. If that is not service than I don't know what service is. When I got home the lawn looked great.

Very disappointing, especially after reading the other reviews. Was stood up twice after now rearranging my schedule 2 times this week to accommodate the meeting times he established to review/provide estimate on my landscaping project. There are a lot of things I can look past or work through, but these days when everyone has a cell phone it's pretty hard to excuse such a lack of common courtesy. I would have been ok if he'd called to let me know he wasn't going to be able to make it. (He answered his cell each time I called, so I assume his phone works.) The first time I let it go, but with the second time, starting to see a pattern. Don't know if he's good at what he does or not, but from my experience appears to be unprofessional and very unreliable.

Their price is good compared to what we were paying before. They are usually pretty timely and they show up in a very reasonable amount of time. They do a great job and are reliable. They are a good value for me and I recommend them.

We were out of town for three months this summer, so hired this company to do our lawns while we were away. They did a good job mowing, but there appeared to be a miscommunication because we thought the mowing was only through September (we came back early September) but they came in October as well. I was at work so didn't realize they were still coming until late October. So we had to pay for service that we didn't really need.

They do a good job. I have used them for three years and I continue to use them.

He required a downpayment which had not been discussed ahead of time. He was a bit hard to pin down; I was also getting a sprinkler system and needed to coordinate that with his work. Overall, I think work was ok; not excellent or great.

Everything went well. Did a good job. A few times we were a bit snowed in because they didn't get to our house until later in the day.

My wife was very displeased with them. We had to keep telling them over and over again about 4 to 5 things that we wanted to be done and they did only 3 tasks among the 5, nor did the landscaper ask me at the end if there was anything else to be done. I had already given them the list and I just wanted it to be done. The landscaper kept asking me if there was anything else that we wanted, but we realized that he would charge us more if we got any other work done. We asked him for a quote upfront and I don?t want to use his services again.

Tom has been doing my lawn and also snow plowing for 2 years now and he has done a great job.

It went really well. They do a thorough job. The owner sort of checks in now and again just to make sure everything is okay. They charge $35 per snowstorm and something similar per mowing.

He stays in contact with me - let's me know when hes delay because of rain. He did a good job on my yard. I was very satisfied with the job he did. I even placed him on a long-term contract.

I prepaid him to mow the lawn so when we got back from vacation, the lawn would look good and we would have one less thing to catch up on. I wa so angry, the lawn had not been mowed, even after I had paid him a week earlier and after I had reminded him!!!! I cannot recommend this vendor after my experience in July, 2011. Buyer beware if you do decide to use him.

Excellent service. Almost always answers his cell phone. I never need to leave a message. Yard looks better than ever.

I called Steeleman's to get an estimate. Tom came out and looked everything over, knew what I was asking for even if I didn't know the terminology. He made several recommendations/refinements to what I was asking. He gave me the estimate and I paid 1/2 down. He and his crew showed up about a week later and worked amazingly fast, over 4 short 2-3 hour appearances. They did everything I had requested and did a good job of it. The only minor, minor complaint I had was that I never knew when they'd be coming. They'd show up in the morning and get right to it and then be gone before I knew it. Then a day or two would pass and they'd be there again. When I asked them to trim something back, they'd REALLY chop it down. Tom assured me that it would be just fine and sure enough every single plant trimmed has sprouted just fine. It was a bit shocking to go from "big overgrown bush" to "nubby hat-box sized plant". I assume that these things (which were left over from the previous owner) were just severely overgrown and the normal healthy size is what they are right now. The house looks 100% better.

Excellent. Tom and his team are excellent, reliable, and very good. Tom is a pleasure to work with and I look forward to continued business with him and his team.

Tom and his team did an excellent job. Will be calling him again for Spring and Fall clean up, and check with him about other services.

They are great. We have been pleased with there service. They always do what we ask them. They are affordable. We have been using them for about a year. We are very happy with the price.

Twice I came home to find they'd mown the front yard, but neglected to mow the back. Tom was kind enough to mow the back himself the first time and agreed to deduct the second from our bill. Today was our scheduled day, they were a no call/no show. In addition, some damage was done to the grass in a low area of our front yard and one of several permanent strings of Christmas tree lights along a low branch (not on the ground) of a 30 ft spruce was shredded and we'll need to replace it. Tom seemed to feel we were nitpicking, but I think our complaints have merit and were presented courteously. Their work is okay. Consistency and professionalism could be improved upon.

When I called Tom, I needed a variety of landscape related items done promptly. Tom came over less than an hour after my initial call, and discussed several options. We settled on a plan and made an appointment to have the work done. Tom was always very professional, timely, and cleaned up after himself well. I am very satisfied with the work he did, and plan on having him do a couple more things that hadn't occurred to me before. I will definitely use Tom's services again!

They've been twice so far and seem to do a good job.

Quick and easy to deal with.Answered phone request the first time. Showed up as promised. Hired for annual spring and fall clean up until further notice.

Tom responded to my call for an estimate promptly and we agreed on a price of $150.00 which I thought was reasonable. He returned within a week at a very busy time of the year for him to do the work, however, he obviously had hurried through the job and I was not satisfied with either the quality of the trimming or the clean-up. He returned quickly when I called to notify him of my dissatisfaction, and agreed to return within a few days to re-do the work, which he agreed had not been done to his usual standards. He completed the work on his second visit in a much more thorough way, including the clean-up, and was apologetic about the quality of the work he had done the first time. He said he had been in a hurry and agreed that he hadn't done a very professional job. I rated him high because of his willingness to come back and do the job right without a bunch of excuses.
