+ -1 moreWe found this company on Nextdoor - came out to give an estimate, wasn't the cheapest one, but we wanted to try them out. First crew came, didn't speak any English, which wasn't that big of a deal so we communicated using "Say Hi" app. We really wanted the windows, sills, screens cleaned thoroughly as it was a new build. After cleaning a few, we went and checked their work and asked them to reclean as it wasn't done well. Before they left, I found several walls with gouges and paint scratched - asked them about it and they said it was there when they arrived, which wasn't true as we just had that area painted the week before. To double check what kind of work they did, we vacuumed afterwards and emptied the bin into the trash, finding lots of dog hair, dirt and debris left behind. The company's resolution to this was to send out another crew, and they pretty much did the same thing. The owner said he'd have someone come out and repair the walls. He never followed through on this. I wouldn't recommend this company at all.

The last time they cleaned, they spent approximately 1 hour and I was still charged $177. I asked for refund of approximately $86 and Mark, the manager refused to provide me with a refund or to offer a credit on next service. I canceled this service. Do not use this service.

+ -1 moreThe company owner who does not take calls from customers and lets the receptionist speak for them, the office phone person who was so rude and offensive failed miserably as did Groupon would have left me with a loss of over $200 which the company will not service a dime of. I will also let National Dusters corporation know of this situation.
Description of Work: This is a review about customer service. I AM OUT $200 this company nor groupon will refund or make right. I called to schedule appointments for 4 Groupons I had purchased for my friends and self and the man who answered the phone started saying that it did not matter if I purchased the coupons for myself and others-it is only 1 coupon purchased per household. I had tried to schedule at least 1 of the 4 and not have to deal with a total loss and then when I asked to speak to his manager or owner he called me the B word under his breath but audible and then said they would not honor any of my coupons -any of them. When I said I needed more of an explanation regarding their Groupons he tried to tell me what his owner would tell me; that I am "out of luck. I said I only wanted to talk to someone of more authority to see if we could work to make things right. Then he hung up on me. I was firm, calm and respectful to him the entire call and simply wanted to talk to his boss regardless of if I was right or wrong. Now I am stuck on on the phone with Groupon for hours (they would only refund 1 of 4 Groupon's). This franchisee does not seem to have an consistent and ethical that reflects a practice of valuing their customers. Particularly If they let receptionists be the gate keeper and speak for them. I am a successful entrepreneur myself and i know that small businesses need to work with their customers individually at times and offer transparency so things can be resolved. SIDE NOTE: Groupon will not refund your money on purchases you buy more than 3 business days- no matter what the situation. You need to go back to your credit card company and complain.

+ -1 moreI've had National Dusters cleaners out a few times and they are very nice and work quickly. They deep cleaned the bathrooms which need the most attention and then usually dust and clean the floors around the house. The cleaners are all very nice and professional. This last time I had them out they left dirty footprints (from their wet socks) on the bath mats and all of the wood floors were terribly sticky. I washed the bath mats and that was fine but the floors took longer to remedy. I took a wet towel and scrubbed the floor and soap suds appeared. It was like they left a layer of soap film on all of the wood floors (the majority of the house). I spent the next 2 hours getting the floors wet, mopping up the soapy water and toweling the floors dry. Even after that the floors still had a stickiness to them. This completely defeated the point of hiring the company to clean for 3 hours when I had to clean for another 2 hours after they left (and had company coming over!) I emailed the owner letting him know what happened and he apologized and said they might have used the wrong mix of cleaner on the floors. I would have liked an offer to come and re-clean the floors or compensate for the time I spent remedying the situation. I'm mixed on whether or not to recommend them. I have had good experiences but since this recent one I wasn't happy having to scramble to fix the floors before we had company over.

I wasn't overly impressed the first visit, however a phone call was well received and the next two times were impeccable. I was so happy! Rachel in the office has been so responsive. She has worked with me on my crazy schedule. When I was forgotten on their schedule she quickly provided a crew to show up within 24 hours. Honestly, a great company to work with and I will have them back.

+ -1 moreThe first time I used them last year the cleaners were phenomenal. Using them again the cleaning was mediocre at best. They had a little time left and never asked me if I wanted them to do any more-they just left. Would not use them again. I called to reschedule and they used the wrong number to contact me so their verification call crossed my cancel call and it is impossible to contact them on weekends so I had no idea if they were coming or not after the confirmation call. They called Monday at 10:30am and asked if I wanted to reschedule and I was counting on them coming that day b/c I received a confirmation call. It was very annoying. They did accomodate me but the work was NOWHERE near as good as it had been the first time they came 7 months before. There are too many cleaning companies to pay for mediocre cleaning.

However it took three months before we could get the first appointment scheduled (no one answers the phones) and then another couple weeks as the cleaner did not show up the first two times cleanings were scheduled. The cleaning was great but the service was horrible. We are now stuck with vouchers that we cannot use as it is basically impossible to schedule.
Description of Work: We purchased cleaning vouchers for National Dusters on Living Social. The vouchers were for regular house cleaning.

+ -1 moreI was not here when they cleaned, but everything looks great. I dealt with Terri, who was ALWAYS available by phone and was SO professional, efficient and organized. I totally trusted her to get the job done, no matter who she sent over to do the cleaning. That is so different than other cleaning services that I have checked into. I would definitely call them again!

They broke a household item and when I reported it to the company, they claimed it couldn't be covered because I had filled out a form saying that there were no breakable items. The problem is that the item was in a partially enclosed cabinet, so the person must have had to bang into it. They did, however, actively pursue a small fee that they forgot to add when the bill was initially paid.

+ -1 moreThis first cleaning was very professionally completed. The three staff that arrived were friendly, courteous and hardworking. Our home was cleaned very well, but the bathroom floors were not mopped very well or at all... Perhaps this was an oversight because everything else on their list of provided services had been completed. The three staff worked non-stop for 1.5 hours in our home.
Description of Work: DK is hired to provide a complete general whole house cleaning on a monthly basis. Clean & Disinfect the kitchen sink, counters, stovetop, and appliance surfaces. Clean interior of microwave. Clean & Disinfect bathroom sinks, toilets, tubs and showers. Vacuum all carpet and rugs. Dry mop hardwood floors. Damp mop hard surfaces. Dust ceiling corners, furniture and light fixtures. Hand wipe light switches. Empty and take out trash.

+ -1 moreWe have stainless steel appliances etc so before hiring, we talked with them about special care with these things, you can't just scrub them with steel wool. Korey the owner told us how careful he was. This did not match up with what we got. We asked them to change minor things like take street shoes off because of snow and to stop when they took the cast iron burner grate and cleaned it directly in/on the stainless steel sink, they scratched it big time. We tried to be kind and respectful and thought things were ok. Last time they came I was behind the house for 3-4 minutes and upon returning found a voice-mail that they missed us. I called back within 5 minutes of his message and said I was here, he refused to return and was planning this to be our last time anyway because of the comments above. He was rude and disrespectful and said didn't like our requests like the shoes and loosing our business was no big deal to him since he had plenty of other clients. Buyer beware!
