As a person in the plumbing trades both new construction and service work I have come to appreciate the skills of someone who does a craft full time and is encouraged to develop skills to make it “their” full time occupation and career. Drain cleaning is part of maintaining a plumbing system. It is a craft different than installing and repairing plumbing but it is just as important to do it correctly. The other values in McDonough’s services are several having the equipment and personnel trained and available is paramount to this no matter how big a job has gotten they have never stopped until it was completed! The other feature that is not fully understood by many is that it is always best to use someone that has only one purpose in mind and that is to get the drain cleaned and inspected and has no reason to up sell you on some repairs or replacement that you don’t need. That why we use them as a plumbing company and recommend them to our valued clients. Great company that invests in training, retaining and having the equipment that their service people need to be efficient, productive and provide the services that they are being relied on to provide.

Very well. Got someone out same day, technician was great, got the drain unclogged in about 15 - 20 minutes upon arrival. Worth every penny!

Our sink pipes were leaking and previous plumber said probably due to back pressure related to blockage. Craig came out and was great to work with. Friendly, hard-working and explained everything. Would definitely hire again.

McDonough's is my go-to for any drain problems! The guys who came were very professional, helpful and all around great. They worked a tough clog out of the drain line coming from the laundry room, then checked the main sewer line from the house and did some preventative clearing on some roots (the house has a history of roots clogging the main line and McDonough's has cleared it twice already, which the guys knew so they checked while they were already there and had the equipment ready). The work was well done, they replaced some aging parts proactively, and they cleaned everything up like they had never been there. Fantastic!

McDonough's Services returned my call the same day I called them, and scheduled cleaning the pipe(s) the following day. I received another call the next day confirming someone would be out, and the technician called shortly after that to let me know he would be arriving within an hour, which he did. Chad was personable, and started the job right away. He cleaned the pipes--to make sure they were clear--but he thought the major problem was the old cap he found lodged inside the pipe; this lodged cap prevented the water from draining properly and so the water backed up from our drain into our laundry room. Chad said the cap was difficult to get out. We are very grateful he found it as our laundry room flooding situation has been going on for a long time. We were very pleased with McDonough?s Services, and would definitely hire them again.

I called them, they gave me a bid, I approved it & they did the work. They made the process seamless. The job was not an easy one- very tight alley with no working space....they handled it in a professional manner.

The service was quick and easy for them, and I will use them again in the future. I was a little surprised they have a different rate for "commercial" projects. In this case this meant I was charged $25 more for my own personal home after I paid the lower price for an identical problem in my rental home two weeks earlier. I disputed this and they were professional, respectful, and amenable. Overall they seem like a great company.

I have used the company several times over the last 4-5 years. The pricing is reasonable and they always show up on time. They are very knowledgeable and can do things very few other drainage companies can do. They are experts in their field and have the latest technology. They are very competent and well trained. I have had no issues with scheduling and they are very responsive.

We had to have them come out twice before the issue was resolved. The first time they worked on the drain it got clogged again within a few days. One technician came out for the job the second time around. The first technicians who were sent out left a mess in the bath tub. They were friendly enough. I had no problem scheduling the service and it was all taken care of through our condo association.

The service went well. It was our first time using the company. One technician came out and completed the job in about a half hour. He did a fine job and was very professional. He respected our property. They responded within a couple hours of our call. They showed up when they said they would. They were timely and effective.

I was not home while they did the service. The staff was very professional and I had no problem with the service at all. I had no problem scheduling the service.

Team of two made quick work of situation. I asked them to tackle from outside instead of inside, and they did. The outside fix took a hundred plus feet of line. During the jetting, care was taken to ensure nothing else overflowed. No appointments were available on day needed, but team arrived on time the next morning.

They showed up at the exact time that they said they would both days. Within in hour they provided solutions and a plan. Their work was thorough and they cleaned up before they left. I would highly recommend them.
