Handy House Cleaning

Casey was amazing! The wood floors (which cover nearly whole level) were washed on hand and knee and then polished. Casey went above and beyond, and she was really easy to work with - I can have difficulty asking for what I need.

Christi came right on time and spent three hours cleaning the kitchen, living room, a very small bathroom, and two bedrooms and an office that I told her needed only vacuuming then swept, mopped and vacuumed only my master bedroom and didn't clean it or our bathroom. Basically the two most used rooms in the house didn't get cleaned. Trash didn't get emptied. I expected my whole house to be cleaned not just half of it.

I've scheduled cleanings 4 times through Handy. I've never had a cleaner actually assigned to my project. They just cancel an hour before and reschedule two days out and then cancel again. I got tired of it because I made arrangements to be there to meet the cleaners only to find out I was waiting around for nothing. Very frustrating; if they can't find someone to do the work, then they should be canceling and rescheduling MUCH sooner. I really don't think they ever had anyone to do the work and that they need to figure out a better way to do this. It seemed like such a great idea and I love the app and the ease of scheduling, etc. I REALLY wanted to love this company, but I need someone at least *somewhat* reliable. I'm flexible, but this is just ridiculous. On the positive, it seems that they are good about refunding. So at least I'm not out the money.

I drove 80 miles one way to meet the cleaning person, no show!! I’am still waiting to see if I got my 100 dollars back. Would never try to hire again!!!

Well, the initial day of cleaning; no one came. I finally found an email posted at 4:00, to say that the cleaner had to cancel. They couldn't find another. I was disappointed that they didn't call. Then they sceduled me for the next day, under the condition that I was to email if the next day was bad. I emailed to change to Thurs. The cleaner showed up anyway. I wasn't ready, as I was having guests. It worked out anyway, but the sceduling situation was bad. Also, I haven't heard back, as far as a future cleaning??The 1st time I got a $50.00 discount.

The house cleaner was very thorough. She did an excellent job and are looking forward to her return next week.

After two cancellations and 2 1/2 weeks time, they were unable to provide a cleaning pro. We were on a timeline and could not tell me when a pro would be available. Very disappointed.

For 2 months they kept canceling the appointment one hour before cleaner was supposed to show up. I never did end up getting my house cleaned. It was hard to deal with customer service because they offer no phone number. I clearly do not think they have cleaners for the northern suburban area but why are they taking peoples money and setting appointments knowing all well nobody is going to come. I finally got my money back. Really sad because I needed a cleaner.

I contacted this company FOUR times requesting price information. All I received were automated responses that didn't address my questions. If this is how they treat prospective customers, I am not impressed and have no intention of working with them.

When I first scheduled for someone to clean my apartment, the cleaner bailed at the last minute. So handy gave me a credit for my next cleaning. Their customer service responded to my concerns immediately. They told me that it was hard to find someone within my area. But they got me an AWESOME cleaner the next time around.

It was convenient, they were on time and did an excellent job.
