It did not go well as he was being rude and unprofessional from the time we starting speaking. I even called him few times right after he disconnected the phone and he intentionally did not pick up my phone as I was willing to hire him to perform the work though he was quoting high as the work needs to be performed ASAP. I would not hire him again or recommend him for others.

They refinished the top of a buffet and replied dining room chairs. Nice to work with and they were willing to deliver the buffet to one address and return the chairs to me at no additional cost. I picked them for their high ratings on Angie's List and was well pleased.

Work was fine, done on time and on budget.

Mitch contacted the company in North Carolina and arranged for the part to be shipped. (The chair is approx, 20 years old but in good condition. It was difficult to determine the right mechanism but Mitch accomplished it). Mitch was very prompt at getting the chair fixed once the part was available. It is a pleasure to recommend him for any furniture repair. I'm so glad we have had the opportunity to know there is someone out there to repair furniture IN YOUR HOME!! I also thought he was very reasonable in the price of his services.

I got a call back from Mitch Levitan within minutes of my call to Jay's furniture. I learned that he made house calls and repaired furniture on site rather than taking it back to a shop so I got a ballpark estimate over the phone and made an appointment for him to come to my house. He was very punctual, arriving right on time and went right to work , carefully removing the underside backing and bolted the stressed joints with super strong bolts and then carefully re-stapling the underpinnings. The fixed portion now lines up perfectly and looks as good as new! He was in and out in less than an hour.

Mitch was polite, responsive, professional and set up a time that to give an estimate at our house that was very workable for our schedules. He assessed the problem, gave an estimate of $75 and had a replacement piece of wood and spacer in place on the recliner within about 45 minutes - all on the same day. The recliner works perfectly again.

Business is run by the son now who bought it from his father. He was willing to pick and drop off the chairs at our house. The work was done in week and he did an excellent job.
