It went extremely well The owner Josh is very personable and easy to work with. He is always interested in making sure the work is done to your satisfaction. In addition, the crew he had helping him were also very friendly and professional. They were all intent on providing the best service possible. I had several instances where I needed to be away for awhile and they were extremely flexible in adjusting their schedule accordingly At the end - they did a good job of cleaning up and made sure everything met my expectations I would highly recommend using them in any project - just be aware they are a very well respected company and because of that their services are in very high demand.

We have a smaller exit door to outside of an over 100 year old house that had to be custom cut to replace the whole door and frame. The threshold was concrete and had to be redone. Frame custom cut and door cut to fit. Due to deterioration from water damage Ron took special detail to make sure everything was sealed up good and all water damaged wood was replaced. He kept us updated via phone and text and explained everything he was doing and why. He answered all our questions was thorough and cleaned up after he was done.

On time, efficient, pleasant, cleaned up site before leaving. What's not to like?

I really dragged my feet on calling for this work to be done after purchasing a 4 hour handyman deal for $200. When I finally did call last week I left a message and Ron got back to me within a day. His schedule was flexible and that worked for me. He showed up on time. I expected he might need more than 4 hours to complete the work and he did, but only an additional 30 minutes or so. He did a great job and I would use him again!

When I called Josh, he was quick to respond to my inquiry. He came out to our house soon after our first call. He arrived a bit earlier than the appointment so it was great to start right away. Josh walked through all of our projects and pointed out things that he thought would need to be addressed if we did A, B, or C. He gave me options and suggestions on how to achieve our end goal. He was professional, courteous, helpful and incredibly busy. So, to meet our completion deadline, we had to select another vendor.

There were a long series of delays when someone first came to provide an estimate and proposal, and it never came, after repeated reminders and much delay. Finally the owner himself stood to the plate and came to do the work, but it required several visits and was never really finished. I think I finally got almost the coupon value but it took a lot of effort.

The main owner/operator was injured which was a bummer because I needed the work done quickly. He called right away to let me know then arranged for another worker to come and do the work. He was really great. Did the work, on budget and even saved me some money by finding a low cost door for me.

Josh was very responsive. He was able to fit me in right away while another project was on hold for a day or two. He did great work on a variety of projects. I would use him again.

Ron was the handyman who promptly return our call arrived as scheduled and began the work when we agreed. He did an outstanding job in less time than we anticipated and the total cost was less then we expected. We are very grateful he was the one who performed the job and would definitely hire him again.

It was just fine. No problems scheduling. They did some work around the house for me. It was just sort of handyman fixes, small jobs. It was good. I would use them again.

They were wonderful. They were very nice with my little boy, worked quickly, and cleaned up. We love the storm door.

I received a prompt return call from Ron at Rehabbers. He came to my home a did a detailed review of the work I needed done. He was very professional and informative. He had great suggestions about how to get the items completed the best way possible. He returned a bid for the work within a day or two. I did go with another company but only because of a personal reference by a co-worker. I definately will concerning using Ron and Rehabbers in the future.

It was a great experience from beginning to end. Ron always answered his calls, was flexible in scheduling, was on time or early, professional, pleasant and fair. I will definitely use them again.

Moulding looked great and Grant found a company that could supply a lock and doorknob for our old 1924 attic door. It was great to see all the little details, that we had neglected, finally finished

The gentleman that came was punctual, and very nice. He completed the job, and the door is up and looks nice. It seemed that he was unsure of how to put the storm door up and it took him multiple days to complete putting the door up. My husband went out and spent the day with him, helping him all day, and we still paid the full price of the discount when my husband read the gentleman the directions to ensure the door was put in correctly. We used them because of the Angie's list discount to put up a storm door, but wish we had paid the extra and found someone else. He did not make us pay until he completed the job the next day, but wanted to come back in 7 days to complete the door!! We told him we would prefer he come back and complete it the next day, and he complied and was on time. He did have a good ethic, meaning he wanted to complete the job correctly, not just get it done.

I left a message for Josh from Rehabber's choice regarding some work I wanted done. A few hours later I got a call back from Brian. We setup a time for Brian to come out and give an estimate the following Tuesday. After 30 minutes of waiting I called Brian to find out where he was. He said he thought "Josh had taken care of it". He agreed to come out a couple of hours later for the estimate. Brian made it out this time. He promised to have an estimate that night or the next day. After several days of hearing nothing I followed up with Brian only to be told he was researching materials. A couple of weeks have gone by and I've heard nothing from these guys. I was expecting some follow thru.

I contacted Rehabbers Choice after reviewing the reviews on Angie's List (in fact, we joined Angie's List for the specific purpose of finding a responsive handyman) in mid-May. I received a vice-mail (which I still have) a day or two later from Brian of Rehabbers Choice, saying he received a message from Josh. He and then spoke and set up an appointment for the following Thursday evening. I was at our house waiting. And waiting. After about 30 minutes, I called Brian to see when he might arrive. I left a voice-mail. I have never heard from Brian. Our projects were not big items, but I expected a to-rated company to be more responsive -- and actually show up when scheduled, or call if there was some conflict.

They missed the first appointment we made for a bid. The appointment was for 8:30 am, and they called at 8:50, 20 minutes late, saying they couldn't make it because he had double booked. I said fine and we'd meet them the next day. They showed up, took some measurements and said they would provide a bid to us. We never heard from them again.

Josh was great to work with and moved quick to get the work done. I would go with him again.

My house is older and the bathroom used to be all pink! It now looks great with the white tile and marble looking flooring, and his idea for the glass strip really makes the tub surround look sharp! His estimate was great, and what he did was well worth the money. It was a very old, small bathroom that was not easy to work with. He is a busy guy but I was able to be flexible with my schedule, which helped. Josh is a very personable, easy guy to get along with... you will not be disappointed if you choose him.

The work was done very professionally and timely by Grant. He was considerate of my renter, which the renter really appreciated. Grant is very consciencous in his work and wanted to complete the work to my satisfaction. I would use him again for any repairs that I needed.

I called Josh, the owner, and told him that I needed some basement windows replaced. He said he was working on three kitchens so he couldn't do it but he had some colleagues who could. I am preparing my investment property for sale so when the two young men showed up, I asked them to bid on several other projects I had in the works as well. They said that the 5 windows would take a little more than the 4 hour deal which I had paid for. They said they would call me with the bid that evening and we would arrange to meet sometime the next day. I did not hear from them that night. The next morning I get a call around 8:30. They were at the house and ready to work. I was staying down the street at my cousins so I was able to get there within 10 minutes. I apologized saying that it was my understanding that they were going to call with the numbers the night before. The young man, who wasn't Joe, disagreed with me. He went on to say that they usually charge $150 to install each window and that they would do the other work, which would take around 4 hours for the $200 deal. When I told them that I could do the other work myself and that Josh had never indicated that there was a problem installing the windows for the deal price they said they would do the windows. I left them alone in the house and went back home to Des Moines. When I returned the next Friday I was thrilled to see that they had done all 5 windows and the workmanship was superior!!!! Fabulous deal!!!! I couldn't be happier!

Purchased a big deal on Angie's List and was thrilled with how responsive they were! Got a callback same day and they arrived to do the work within a week of the call. They worked really quickly and accomplished everything on the do-do list. Did such a great job that we asked them to bid on some additional work. Thanks, guys!

Went great. He responded quickly. The work was professionally done. He even went above and beyond when the strike plate for the new storm door did not line up correctly - he found a solution and now the door locks easily. In addition, he was charming and personable. He completed most of the work on the first visit and arranged a follow-up to finish.

Everything went very smoothly. No problems at all.
