I love how our bathroom turned out. Josh made some suggestions for details I hadn't considered. An example of this is shelves in the shower. When I didn't like the tile I originally picked for the floor, he suggested other options and it turned out great

Josh is a great contractor. He helped us coordinate with a plumber and electrician. He was very responsive to our questions and needs. He does excellent work.

Was interested in purchasing a deal offered by Rehabber's Choice to have my bathroom floor tile redone. Josh was kind enough to offer a free on-site quote before I purchased the deal. He was on time for our meeting, knowledgeable and the nicest guy in the world. He took notes, asked good questions and gave good suggestions. Stated that he would get a quote to me within a few days. Unfortunately, three weeks later, I haven't heard a word. I totally understand that there are many reasons that contractors might nor choose to take a job. Just think it would have been professional for him to let me know.

I've never experience such poor customer service. Very non-responsive, no follow-up. I was consistently reaching out after being given timelines when the work would start, and it didn't with no communication unless I initiated it. This individual does not take responsibility as the professional and provide customer service that allows the customer to be in the know of the project, expected timeline, start date etc. Very poor professionalism.

Josh and Evan did a great job on all aspects of the work. Space between front room and kitchen was at a long slant which demanded many cuts and recuts to get it just right. Josh had to work for a while to get the transitions between rooms so they weren't too steep or abrupt for my wheelchair. Not a small order. They turned out marvelous. Soffit in basement was fixed and looks better than before the water leak that caused the damage. Overall, the work was done exceptionally well and I will ask Josh to do more work for me.

Josh was great about responding promptly to my to my emails, but after he replaced the tub surround, the hot water faucet kept leaking. He returned to do a quick fix, but it wasn't until a few weeks later, when the faucet was still leaking, that he told me I needed a plumber to replace the faucets and pipes. Also, he mixed up the fixtures (putting the Hot and Cold handles on the wrong faucets). He is knowledgeable but didn't communicate clearly with me (I am not fluent in plumberese). When I asked him what kind of tub surround I should buy, and he said "one that doesn't have pins". I found one, but then he told me I should exchange it for an adhesive back type. If he'd said "adhesive back" in the first place, it would have saved both of us significant time and trouble (he did pick it up at Home Depot for me).He charged over $600 to install the tub surround, which took him about two hours. Considering the stress and bother the project caused me and my renters, this seemed like a really high price to pay. I liked Josh, but the experience was frustrating and expensive.

Josh and his crew were easy to work with. Josh responded quickly to my request for a bid and promptly provided a bid and scope of work. He began on time and finished on time and stayed within budget. Josh kept us posted on anything that came up and also the progress of the project. He never balked on a new request that could have stalled things. His sub-contractors showed up when scheduled and completed work on time. I would not hesitate to use Rehabbers Choice again.

Basement and bathrooms are beautiful. Josh is extremely responsive and corrects any issues immediately. This is a great company and I highly recommend to all of my friends thinking about remodeling.

Not only did Josh return my call the same day, he came by that afternoon to look at the project. He quoted me a price right away and came back the next morning to do the work. The screws holding the cabinet to the ceiling and walls had popped through the wood and the cabinet was sagging badly. Josh and his employee not only attached new screws to secure the cabinet, they used large washers to prevent the screws from popping through the wood again. They also secured the cabinet in several other places where there had been no screws originally. I was very happy with the quality of their work and their willingness to make the cabinet even more secure that it had been to begin with. The price was very reasonable and I would definitely use them in the future.

Both countertops look great. The contractor made an error ordering the trim piece for the bathroom countertop, but addressed the issue by ordering new pieces with no additional cost to me. Most importantly, the contractor did an excellent job standing up for me when the manufacturer made two different production errors. The manufacturer made a dimensional error with one section of the kitchen countertop on the first order, and later, they constructed the countertop using the wrong color selection. Both times the contractor saw to it that the errors were fixed and I ended up with the countertop I wanted.

I had Rehabber's Choice remove a wall between my kitchen and living room. It didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped but Josh handled every issue like a professional. I even sent him a couple of texts messages on a Saturday because I had concerns about the electrical work that was done. He was kind enough to respond to me that same night. And sure enough, he took care of all of my worries and concerns. He went above and beyond my expectations. He was very clean (as clean as one can be doing remodeling work), fast, and he even brought my dog a treat. If Josh doesn't return your call, it's because he is busy. Very busy. Any good contractor that is good is very busy. If you have a project in mind, I would call Josh at least 4 to 6 months in advance. Josh definitely has a passion for what he does. He takes the time to do the little details that in the end, make your life easier. It was a pleasure working with him and I look forward to the possibility of working with him again.

Josh and his team were AWESOME! They finished in less time than predicted, were clean, respectful and did great work. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

Every update was made and performed by contractor with professionalism, craftsmanship, keeping me in the loop with ideas of what would work and what would not or if they had an idea different than mine the communicated this to me and allowed me to make the decision. Colors are a challenge for me and they always offered there honest opinion but ultimately went with my choice, they clean up before the end of day to ensure I could be comfortable in my evenings. They kept me informed of the schedule and any changes to the schedule. They were and are always professional. I highly respect them as individuals and there work ethics.. I would highly recommend Rehabbers Choice LLC for all remodeling needs and dreams!

Job finished in April but so upset with quality of job and the 8 visits to our house I could not comment until now. Main issues were: Did not clean up mess Rude Didn't have right supplies Hidden costs-but did not charge me when complained Multiple excuses on why door did not fit Worst of all, unprofessional job. Storm door does fit. Can see light in all corners & along bottom. We are buying new door and hiring someone who knows what they are doing.

After waiting about a week I received a return call. It was explained that they had been busy with some family stuff and an apology for the delay was given. I decided to overlook how long it took to receive a return call and asked when I could get someone out for an estimate on my project. The response was, "Are you serious about getting the work done because if not I don't want to waste my time." Wow. Well, yes, I AM serious about getting my projects completed. I am glad that we had the conversation because I am certainly not interested in investing the amount of money this project will cost in a company who treats their customer like this. He did try to say he misspoke but the words were out and I had heard them. Customer and probable referral lost.

I needed my 3/4 bathroom (the only on in the house) remodeled. It had tile at least 30 years old on the floor, a fiberglass shower surround and a small sink on legs. I found Josh on Angie's List and because he had good reviews and was actually in my neighborhood, I went with him. He, his partner Nick and their plumber Jeff were great to work with. Jeff had to update all the pipes for the plumbing, so there was a little extra cost associated with that, but now it's done right. He was also willing to update my laundry faucet while he was there for just the cost of the fixture. Josh and Nick tiled the floor, put in a new subway tile shower, new sink, toilet, fixtures and paint. They also made sure to reset the toilet every day as it is my only bathroom. The project took a little longer than expected, none of it because of Josh. The walls in the bathroom of my 1925 house are not plumb, so that took a little while to get everything square. It also took a while to get things from Home Depot. The original sink and toilet that I could order online were backordered with no estimated arrival date. We ended up picking new ones from the stock in the store. They ended up fitting in really well with the rest of the bathroom. The biggest delay was the shower door. The original frameless door they installed leaked at the bottom. It was a really poor design, the flimsy plastic part that was supposed to keep the water out was crap. Nick came out and tried to fix it with a sturdier part, but it still leaked. So, we ended up ordering a sliding door to replace it. There was no extra charge for me. Josh just wants to make things right. The new door also took a while to arrive, but was finally installed. Josh and Nick replaced tile that was damaged from putting in the previous door and set the new door in. No leaks, everything is great. Even though it took a bit longer than I thought, it was well worth it. Josh, Nick and Jeff were very easy to work with and cleaned everything up before they left at the end of each day. He even bought a giant bone for my dog! I'd definitely hire Josh again.

Josh McCabe was wonderful to work with. The quality of Rehabber's Choice work was excellent; but just as important to me, Josh always did exactly what he committed to do. He was always on time, always returned calls and emails, always got the job done just as it was requested. Many small add-ons came to light in the course of the rehab, and Josh was great about adding to the project. It was such a pleasure to work with a whole team of people who were completely reliable and always courteous. The price was very fair and the job was done on time. I reached out to him to get work done and he informed me it was getting too cold. He told me it would never expire so I reached out to him in the Spring and never heard back. The house we are in now does not need it.

They winterized my windows and back door. They did a great job! I have used them before.

Communication was right there - from the first contact to each step of the process, we knew where we stood, what decisions needed to be made and each step was explained in layman's terms. We were pleased with the attention to detail and with each day's cleaning up. It was a joy to work with Josh and the crew!
