Description of Work: Josh did a fantastic job with my house. It had been left half finished by another contractor. Josh dug right in, analyzed what work was needed & took on this challenging job. He kept me informed every step of the way, Couldn't be happier with his work.

Description of Work: 99% of project was finished but contractor, who worked for Rehabbers Choice, had some issues. Now I'm waiting for final work to be done (minor, but still unfinished) by the owner of Rehabbers Choice. I'm not getting very far on that and I believe I was told they no longer participate in Angie's List.

Description of Work: Replaced old floor tile in bathroom. He had to chisel and sand out the old subfloor but did a very nice job.

Description of Work: The work was to fix the work done by a previous contractor and to finish rehabbing a bathroom. The tile work done is truly beautiful. I couldn't ask for better work.

Description of Work: Got an estimate, accepted it and never heard back from them. I know he had a sick child and I was accounting for a time lapse to accommodate. But after a few messages and no reply we gave up thinking he just didn't want the job.

Description of Work: Replaced two exterior doors plus storm doors. Two men were not the person identified on site. Were very personable but lacked professionalism and final product was adequate but not well finished. We didn't complain at the time but have been dissatisfied with the finishing look.

Description of Work: I first thing I had done was painting. Nick and Mike were the best. They were very polite and respectful of my home. They did an excellent job painting and no mess anywhere. They worked at a consistent pace and only took one break during the day. Then I had all my interior doors and trim removed and replaced. It took quite a long time to get the doors then to get them stained but the finished product is beautiful. Josh and Nick were also very polite and respectful and cleaned up very well and I am fussy! I am very happy with their work and craftsmanship and would and will definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: I got the distinct feeling the contractor sent to do our job was in over his head. Maybe the tile we chose was labor intensive? Maybe it was complicated because we live in an older house? Hard to know, and we certainly didn't hide anything when we discussed what we wanted and the estimate was given. We were flexible so our contractor could finish previous jobs while we waited for various supplies to arrive, etc. but it felt so long and drawn out and I was just plain tired of it all by the end. Little things started to add up--I reminded contractor a couple times I wanted to keep the removed faucet/fixture from the previous bathroom vanity but that seemingly was thrown out. We wanted to reuse the light fixture but a screw which attached it to the wall went missing and it hung awkwardly ever since until I finally replaced it this summer. Grout was splattered over part of our garage door and wall--not horrible but still. The kicker was reconnecting our radiators--our contractor insisted over and over he could do it (two radiators had to be removed as part of the work and the last step was to reconnect them) but in the end he obviously didn't know what he was doing because the furnace wouldn't shut off and our house heated up to almost 90 degrees in July! Then disagreed with us that anything could be wrong. We're happy with the tile job in the end and if indeed our job was more complex than originally thought well, that's not our fault! Don't assure us you can handle issues which arise in an older house (like our radiators) and then complain about it when indeed those issues arise. Very frustrating all around and wondering if it really needed to be as high maintenance as it felt.

Description of Work: We had purchased all new doors for our house. Our painter (CBR Ptg and Dec.) recommended Josh to finish and hang them. We had 2 other bids already, but thought we could handle it ourselves, do to time constraints we hired Josh to finish them for us. We were very impressed at his efficiency and attention to detail. All the interior doors needed to be stained and varnished, the exterior doors needed to be painted.

Description of Work: I recently bought my first house which is a rehab home. I am slowly updating and remodeling both the inside and outside of the house in the next year to either sell or rent. I had Rehabber Choice come out to replace the the front and back doors along with all the doors inside my home.
