These guys are great! I recommend them all the time. Great price to do all those little projects you just never find the time for! They can handle anything you throw at them from fixing peeling exterior paint to assembling and mounting IKEA furniture. I've used them twice and look forward to using them again.

Ultimately, after cutting open holes in my kitchen wall & ceiling, then cutting three holes up the side of my garage wall that's next to the house, he learned that the measurements didn't add up and he was not able to install and run the coax cable in that manner. In addition to the holes he put in my walls and garage, during his work, he somehow knocked two screws or nails through the walls between the garage and living room and they poked out into my living room. So in addition to three big spackled squares on my garage wall, I now I have two white holes in the middle of my brown living room wall. In the kitchen, the speckled was covered up by a cabinet. He patched up the three holes in my garage wall with spackle. Ultimately, this guy installed a cable outlet and electrical outlet in the kitchen. This kitchen cable outlet is DEAD because he could not run a coax cable to that spot. He was at my house doing this work for two half days. After he realized he could not run the coax cable the way he had in his mind, he offered me a refund of the $200 that I had already paid, and he said that he and his boss would call in a week to come back out and finish the job. He also said that, for free, he would 1) finish the job with the help of his boss, 2) finish the garage wall that has the three speckled holes and 3) he would fix and paint my living room. I have my money back, but it's been almost 3 weeks and I have not received a call back from this company.

Adam came in and finished the work the previous carpenter started. Couple great things were his prices and his "lets get this done". He worked three separate full days. He started early and asked to stay late so could finish a project and we could still function in our home after he left. He always wanted to know what we wanted when he had a few choices on installation. He gave good advice on what materials to buy that in his opinion were good quality. We are happy with his work and glad he was able to finish what someone else has started. We will be using him again but this this time from start to finish.

I bought a deal through Angie's List for 4 hrs of service for $200. I hoped that this would be enough time to fix my fence. Ron called me the day after I bought the deal to set up a time to come over. He offered to drive by my house the day before he was to look at my fence and see what materials I'd need for the job. He suggested I'd get more out of my money if I bought the materials for him in advance. Ron looked at my fence on a Friday, called me up that evening with a list of what I'd need, and then came out the next day to do the work. I had everything he needed ready to go. I spent about $70 for materials (lumber, screws, fence slats). I was very pleased with how fast Ron called me to set up an appt, and how hard he worked to give me the best value for my money. Ron arrived on time and went right to work. He worked through dinner as he wanted to make sure he could finish the job before the sun went down at 7:30 (he arrived at 3:00). He completed the job the same day. He even fixed the huge gap by the tree that I wasn't sure could be fixed! He was friendly, professional, and did great work! I will definitely use Rehabbers Choice in the future for other projects that come up.

Ron and I corresponded via email about the schedule. He showed up early and completed the tasks as asked.

Josh responded promptly to a request to view the projects. He showed up right on time. It was downhill from there. While he was friendly, he was also fairly negative about the work - this would be complex, that might not work, etc. He never submitted a bid. I think it is perfectly acceptable to say that a project does not interest you, but to be so negative and to leave us hanging is not. The firm we went with, Nicely Dunne, was the total opposite.

My oldest son is graduating in June 2013 and my goal is to have our living room redecorated by then. I started with the painting. We took a family vacation in July and thought that would be the best time to have him paint. And paint he did. He had completed the project in 2 days as he promised. He even went over and bought more paint when he ran out. I got pictures sent to me as he finished the walls. Would definitely have him come out again and paint for my next project.

Josh and Adam arrived on time. We walked through the long list of projects I asked them to complete and they got to work. I really appreciated that they would give me options on some of the issues, in terms of how it could be done, materials that could be used and the different costs. Their work was excellent and they would always re-confirm with me if there was a question about how something should be done. You know it can seem kind of creepy to have someone you don't know come in your house, working in the basement, in the upstairs bath, at the front door and back in the garage. But with Josh and Adam, you know right away that everything is fine. They are very nice, affable and you feel very comfortable. They are totally professional and work to make you happy. And if you don't believe me, my 80 lb. German Shepard checked them out when they arrived and he said they were good people. The best thing is the next day when you realize that all of those projects you have been meaning to get to for the past 2, 3, 5 or ten years are DONE and done expertly and at a very reasonable cost.

The guys were really nice. I'd misunderstood what the deal was for - I called asking if it including cutting out the doorway. We talked for a while about my need. They could do the storm door work & offered to do the additional work needed. The guy that came out installed the door within 5 hours by himself - It was his birthday & he was so nice & willing to help with this & other projects I mentioned! They were very flexible & willing to work with my needs. I was very happy.

, plumber was able to remove that then he painted the area behind before replacing the toilet. I was pleased with the overall results. Jim was talkative, maybe more that I would have liked, but, he methodically completed all the tasks and cleaned up behind himself. Good price for professional work.

Josh helped us with a kitchen update and was fantastic. He took out a window above the sink that looked into our porch. Then he found l0 ft. long tongue-in-groove siding to fill in the area on our porch when no one else was able to find the particular wood we needed. He came back to install a honed marble backsplash to finish our kitchen, which turned out to be stunning. He is a true craftsman, measuring multiple times to fit everything in perfectly, and producing outstanding results no matter what product he is working with.

Josh was an absolute pleasure to work with. He did a terrific job for us and was very respectful. He did a great job of working us into his schedule and we appreciate this.

They are not very good and I do not plan on using them. I am still working with them as the work is not done yet. The project has not been going well. Everything is in process and it has been about a month and they haven't even got the service started yet. I gave them a down payment and still nothing has happened. They will not even tell me when they will be able to get out here let alone to get the work done.

I called Josh to schedule his visit. He was immediately responsive. He was flexible in scheduling his work a couple weeks out while my wife and kids were going out of town. The day before he came, he confirmed again that he was coming. He was good about communicating with me on time expectations and showed up exactly when he said he would. When he got here, he gave me a polite introduction and then went right to work. He was well prepared with all of the equipment he would need in order to get the job done. He worked so hard and did such nice work that I asked him if he could help me with another project. Due to daycare concerns, he didn't have time to help me with the extra project that evening, but he immediately offered to start his next day earlier than usual and come back to help me. I took him up on the offer. Again, he was timely, professional, did great work and had a great attitude. At this point, I've even started discussing another project with him that I can't afford to do for awhile but that I'll be calling him to do for me. I am confident that Josh will deliver high quality work for a great price to anybody who hires him. He's not the cheapest out there and certainly not the most expensive, but the high quality of his work gives more bang for the buck than any of his competitors.

Adam did a great job, he showed up about a half hour early, even skipping lunch so he could be there on time. We talked about what I wanted done, and I showed him where everything was. Adam was very neat and considerate, got the old door out with no problems or damage, and replaced it with the new door. He installed the locks, cleaned up, and piled everything up for me since I told him I would dispose of the old door. Adam was so nice and I really enjoyed working with him. He was honest and upfront about everything. Adam, and this company, will be my first choice for any more repair needs on my house.

The work was very good. My front steps are both sound and they look great. The doorknob on the garage is sturdy and I'm not worried about break-ins. And the gutter work was a good resolution. So, I am quite happy and would use these guys again.

Josh came super quickly to give me an estimate and sent the estimate quickly, but then it took a number of weeks to finally get scheduled...I had a bunch of emails that I sent that got no response. Adam came to do the work and was very prompt and polite. Nice work - nothing fancy, but it is just a basement, and it is something I didn't have the skills to do. Adam also fixed a couple of kitchen drawers and a hinge on a kitchen cabinet.

My house had been broken into, and Josh called me back immediately in response to my message looking for door replacement. His partner Adam worked late the following night to fit me into their already booked day. The work was done well, the cost was reasonable and they both were very pleasant and professional.

I realized less than two weeks prior to a move that I needed a handyman to come do some tasks for me - I needed to put my apartment-issue blinds back up, take down my own curtains and curtain rods, patch a few holes in the wall where I had screws to hold up white boards, put up a bracket in a closet, and replace a shower faucet head. Despite the short notice, Rehabbers Choice was not only able to find someone to assist me with these chores, but he was polite, punctual, professional, and wonderful to work with! I was amazed by how quickly everything got done. We communicated in advance via email and he was always really quick to get back to me with estimates of price and any questions he had for me. I realized after the initial communication that I had forgotten to mention a shower head that needed to be switched out, but they were able to work that into the schedule when I notified them in advance that I had forgotten. Josh, the handyman sent out to work with me, was great. I'm certain to get a good deposit refund now and I would definitely recommend their services!

Overall the work went well. He was able to take care of the first two items the day he first came over, the screens took a little more work. I was actually a little surprised at the cost for putting in the screens - but had nothing to compare it to. Josh did do a nice job though. He had to reschedule with me at least once, but when he gave me an 'absolute will complete by date', he stuck to it and actually completed earlier than he had hoped for.

2 handymen showed up, each taking a bathroom, and finished the job in an hour. They did a fine job. Looks much better than it did before. They even were kind to my 5-year-old, who followed them around telling them random bits of information and asking a lot of questions. Kudos to them (they're both dads)!

Rehabbers Choice were recommended to us by our painter and we are so glad they were. Josh's price quote was more than resonable. He fit our job into his schedule quickly so that the work could precede the scheduled painting. They showed up exactly when promised, were very professional, accomodating and efficient. They even assisted me with removing the garage light fixtures when my husband was unexpectedly hospitalized and therefor unable to do it prior to their arrival. They cleaned up the area and took all the old boards with them for disposal. The job took only 1 day and I am amazed at how quickly they were able to do the job and have the finished product still be such high quality.

I've had trouble getting shelves/curtain rods/etc. to stick in the plaster, but he had no difficulty at all. He was able to round out the two hours I paid for with the coupon with recaulking the tub and mounting the tv. I was impressed with his professionalism (and liked that he didn't make me feel bad for not being able to do such simple things myself).

I found Rehabbers Choice on Angie's List and gave Josh a call to came out and give me a estimate. He explained to me how he was going to do the job and that he was the one that would be doing the work and how much it would cost. I will refer him to anyone I know that needs handyman work done.
