Went very well. It is a very old house, and he did a great job keeping things level. After I put the face plates on the light switches back on, I noticed a bap that needed more grouting. I contacted Josh, and he came over and re-grouted it. I would definitely recommend him and use him in the future.

Be sure to be apart of the solution, by having all you need to allow them to complete your tasks. If you want to reorganize your closet, or bedroom with new shelves, but don't want to spend a fortune, this is the solution. Buy the shelves, and have the team install them to your specifications. Be there to assist them with questions, to ensure your project is perfect. Don't expect them to wait for materials to arrive, as their time is valuable too.

I didn't hear back from the company, so I would say it went poorly.

Gargabe disposal leak was fixed, but the drain wasn't cleared. I had to call Benjamin Franklin Plumbing the next day and the clog required an electric snake to clear.

We bought a new door for our back entry way and needed someone to install it and replace the original door. Rehabbers Choice came out and gave us an estimate within the same week of our initial call. Their estimate was a bit more than others we had requested, however we went with them as they seemed to have knowledgable about the work the job needed. They were polite, punctual, and efficient workers.

We purchased a coupon for 'Handyman for Half a Day' for $199. We received an acknowledgment email quickly, but then it took six days before we heard from someone again about setting up a consult date. The consult was thorough and we decided on how to proceed. The handyman, Grant, seemed nice enough. We purchased a recessed bathroom heater that could not fit in the wall. Grant built a housing for the heater that turned out well. We immediately paid Grant for his services and for the materials. We had Grant look at a water-damaged wall and we discussed solutions. He investigated the wall, opening it up more, to discover that it was only compromised in certain areas. However, the wall was now exposed and in worse condition than before. Grant framed the ceiling, and then installed the drywall, he left equipment in anticipation of coming back the next day to complete the work. However, he did not come back the next day because the joint compound had not completely dried. It took weeks to get him back to finish the work, and when he did, he basically showed up unannounced because he called and left a voicemail and text that he was on his way. I guess I appreciate that he was trying to finish the job, and do so to maximize his benefit: driving time, gas, vicinity to other clients. However, people have schedules and he had already taken ours for granted. I did go out of town for a few days for a family emergency, and, by that time, I had moved beyond the project, Grant, and Rehabbers. That day someone else let him in to do work. I had contacted him to at least come by to get his equipment because it was a liability issue. He assured me that he would come by, but he did not show up or contact me with an alternative day and time until the above-mentioned pop-in. Although the project was unfinished, we decided to end the project with him once he had his equipment. In the end, we decided to not finish the project with Grant, but with another person. We texted Grant that his services were no longer required and to email an invoice. After this decision, months into this process, I did not return his calls or texts. Grant's work was good when he showed up, but he did not show up most of the time. I had to adjust my schedule to early mornings, and also disrupt the downstairs tenant's morning work routine only to get a text or voicemail that Grant was not showing up. I would then contact the downstairs tenant and, eventually, her response to Grant not showing up was "Shocker." The numerous excuses from a child's illness, to dental issues, to pushy clients demanding more time, did not make us feel any better, even though we tried to be reasonable because this is life and things come up. However, the voicemails, texts, and witnesses are rather strong evidence that things constantly kept coming up. We wish that Grant had stuck to his word like a professional and not put us in the awkward position of having to betray our own work and professional ethics in our dealings with him. In other words, we should have fired him the first time he cancelled, or, at least, contacted his boss and, at least, requested someone else. I guess some people may like writing negative reviews, but we do not. The time it's taken us to write this review is a testament to the uneasiness and procrastination of writing an honest review that reflects negatively on a business. Rehabbers has great deals and reviews (which is why we chose them), and our experience seems anomalous. However, this was our experience. We had decided to take our time to pay our invoice out of fear that we would never get around to writing this account, and, let's be honest, to stick it to them just a little. Lessons learned. We have plenty of work for someone to do in our duplex including two kitchen demos and remodels, as well as all new window installation. Rehabbers will not get this work.

Everything went very well. Grant was on time, began working & all went smooth until the ceiling fan light problem. Grant was very professional, working very hard to get the problem solved. Which he did do. We are very pleased with everything & would recommend highly.

He did a great job and came up with unique ideas to fix stuff! The only thing is that if you are working towards a particular deadline then this contractor may not work for you, because things seemed to come up that delayed the completion of the project. My sense was that he was over-extended.

It turned out well, they tore out a stair landing and installed a laundry tub.

I have been complaining about my laundry room doors for a couple of years. I only wish I had looked on Angie's List sooner. My family is so grateful that they don't have to listen to me anymore because Grant did such an extraordinarily great job fixing the problem. I recommend this company highly. I received a call very shortly after I sent Josh an email and Grant came out the next day. He was professional, friendly, and showed me exactly what needed repair and why. I was so impressed with the "why" part because he easily could have fixed what I thought was wrong without fixing the underlying problem (which is what a previous contractor did and why the problem continued to get worse). Without Grant doing his due diligence, my washer and dryer would have eventually ended up going through the floor because it was so rotted. I LOVE my new laundry closet. We already have Grant scheduled for more projects around the house that have been neglected for about 20 years! He's our new best friend.

I felt like the quote given was way to high for the work that needed to be done. I did not hire this company.

I was very impressed with everything, from the estimate to the work that was done. It looks very nice and was done in a very timely manner.

We are very happy with the work done and how they look, as well as the drafts that are no longer noticeable.

Easy to work with, showed up on time, and did good work. Will hire again.

I hired Rehabbers through an Angie's List Big Deal. I had trouble with the first handyman; he rescheduled several times (including calling to cancel 10 minutes before he was meant to begin work). He did have an excuse but it was the same one several times in a row. I was unhappy about that so I called Josh to request another handyman. He was sincerely apologetic and got me someone else right away. The second handyman, Ron, called to set up a day and time. He came out on a Saturday to make sure I didn't have to wait any longer to have the work completed. He was very communicative (he explained what was wrong with my cabinet doors, fence doors, tub drain) and he fixed everything. He was incredibly efficient -- he did three extra things on my list that I didn't think there would be time for! I would hire him again in a second. I think Rehabbers take their work and clients seriously, as even the initial problem I had with them was sorted quickly and with a nice response from Josh.

Everything went very well. We had contracted Him ( I'm sorry, I can't remember his name) for 4 hours and he was done in 3.5. He was pleasant, prompt, professional, and competent. What else could we ask for?

I phoned and emailed Rehabbers on Monday to inquire about their Angie's List special for installing an exterior storm door. After getting no response Monday, I called again on Tuesday and immediately got followup phone calls from both owner Josh and employee Grant to set up an appointment. I had chosen a new door at Menards online and checked to make sure it was available. Grant arrived at my home as scheduled Thursday morning in his workshop truck and drove me to Menards to pick up the door (which was great because it would not have fit easily into either of my vehicles). Grant then took out the old door and installed the new door, adjusting it to fit in a 2x4 framework that was not exactly square. Within three hours, everything was done to my satisfaction. Takeaway of the new packaging and old door was not included. I only had to do some minor cleanup after he left. Grant, by the way, had to drive from Andover to Burnsville for the job. While he was on site, he also gave me some quick suggestions and a spot estimate on a future project. The only reason I gave a B for responsiveness is because I had to call Rehabbers twice to get a reply.

I have found my new handyman! I picked Rehabber's Choice because their Angie's List listing indicated they did not only full remodels, but also "honey do lists". I just bought a house and had a list of a dozen miscellaneous things that needed doing, from patching a hole in the garage wall, to making a shelf for a cupboard. Josh was able to schedule the work within a week, arrived on time, did all the work efficiently, and everything was done well. Josh was courteous, professional and tolerant of my enthusiastic dogs. He will be the first person I call when I need handyman work done, and if the opportunity for some bigger projects comes up, I'll call him for those too.

My experience with Josh was very satisfying from beginning to end. You can tell that his heart is in everything he does and that shows in the quality of the end result. Someone else (not from Rehaberr's Chocie) had measured my windows incorrectly and so Jost had quite the challenge making the replacement windows fit and look professional. He does whatever it takes to get the job done right. I would certainly recommend him for any job and will definitely use him again.

The job went well, albeit the door supplier was a bit slow for Grant's pick up. I had to leave early and we worked out a final price which I was satisfied with. I came home later and it looked great, a huge improvement over the original, 40 year-old door!

My garage was a mess. Ron made all the repairs and repainted and did a great job. He's easy to work with, very accommodating and knows what he's doing. I'd definitely hire him again.

After purchasing a new house, I realized I had water leaking in my basement. Rehabber's Choice came to look at my house within 2 days of calling, recommended adding gutters (a completely reasonable and cost effective solution) and installed them in the next week. The gutters look and work great. The handyman also took a walk through of my house and answered a few of my other first time home owner questions. He was very helpful and provided some great additional advice.

Overall Rehabbers Choice was great from beginning to end and I could not have asked for a better company to work with me on this project. The work they did was impeccable and the customer service was awesome! Thank you!

The work was set back a bit far out due to the overwhelming response they received from Angies list, but not being in a rush, I had no problem waiting. Overall, for the money I spent, they did a fantastic job. The only minor complaint I would have is that they didn't stain in between the boards but that was very minor to me. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
