Steve is a good communicator, and a thorough and efficient worker. He completed the job in a timely manner and the work was high quality. I will definitely be calling him again!

Not well at all he started the to repair the hole in the wall but never completed the job. I ended up getting a patch & placed it over the hole. I did all sanding & repainted it. The bathroom towel bar was old. It was falling out of the wall. He was trying to put the new towel bar where the old one was. The he was too large so o told him to screw it in above the old holes & patch the old he's. He didn't measure so it was crooked & he had to pull it out & start again. I patched the holes. The large picture in the living room went on a main large wall. He was putting the picture where he thought it should go. I told him toes sure the entire wall theneasure the picture & hang it in the middle. I had to show him how to do it. He wasn't very friendly either. This was the first & last time I used Angie's List.

We own a very old duplex which has the original heavy oak doors. Over the years, the veneer has begun to buckle and the finish has started to fade quite a bit. We were not sure they could be repaired, even though they are structurally sound and have a lot of character. We considered purchasing new doors, painting the doors, and even buying replacement doors from the same era. The options appeared to cost anywhere from several hundred to a few thousand dollars. As a last resort I called Stephen to get his opinion. We had hired him two years ago to do some work at our duplex and were very pleased with what he had done. Stephen stopped by and then called back right away. He assured me that the doors could be easily repaired and refinished, and that is just what he did. I am very happy with the outcome; they look great. While he was here, he also took the time to touch up the back side of both doors and the threshhold (without me even asking). He also offered to fix the sweep on the screen door. We had purchased an Angie's List coupon from Stephen a few years ago. I was not even aware that we still had a few hours of credit left when we called. Stephen actually had kept track and his visit to repair the doors didn't cost us anything more. He is a really nice guy, entirely ethical, does high quality work, and recommends ways to be as frugal as possible. Some jobs require a handyman,not a contractor, and he is the perfect person for that. I highly recommend him and we will definitely have him back in the future.

I've had no more trouble with the toilet.

This represented the second deal that I purchased on Angie's List for his time. The time in this deal was pretty much consumed with deck repairs. Stephen has been very flexible in letting me use the deal time in both large and small blocks of time. The only problem was last year when he was very busy. As a result, he was scheduling out as much as two months from when I called him. This year the scheduling lead time has been more manageable (within a month).

Serigo was recommend to us by Stephan. Sergio contacted us right away, came out that day to give us an estimate and began work the next morning at 8:00! Sergio was very professional and diligent with completing the work we had asked him. I would highly recommend this company, especially Serigo to anyone and everyone I know!

the wok was done promptly. He did a nice job patching the hole on the roof. Some of the hardware wasn't installed tightly enough and the screws got stripped, making adjustments tough, so drawers are still wobbly.

Stephen definitely turned out to be an extremely good handy man. I will certainly be having him again to do more work

Stephen did an excellent job and went above and beyond in all he did. Especially the outside painting. He used putty to fill in where some wood was starting to rot, rather than just painting over it. Had a great idea to fix the vent covers in my basement that have been hanging loose since I moved in 12 years ago. Would definitely recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised how quick and professionally Stephen is. It turned out the shelf wasn't designed to hang as the L shape. Stephen was very patient and get it done. Since we're satisfied with his work, we hired him again to fix our gas fireplace@ our rental property.

He set his toolbox directly on the countertop of the new bathroom vanity, and left scratch marks across the surface on both sides from moving it around. We were disappointed at what he was able to accomplish in the day, even though we were happy with the work itself.

I had to replace a water heater and the one I bought was way different then the one I had. It require a lot of plumbing changes and gas line changes.Stephen did a great job figuring out what to do. He is a soft spoken person that really takes pride in doing a good job and that is what he did.

We could not have asked for more from Stephen. He responded immediately to my email request, and he arrived early the following morning. He was very polite, courteous, and professional throughout his two-and-a-half hour visit. He did an excellent job of installing the two dog gates, and he managed the really hard part of moving the two pieces of furniture. My wife was thrilled when he noticed the broken towel rack in our bath, and offered to take care of it. We will be sure to work with him again whenever any variety of household repairs/maintenance/installation projects come up. We recommend him without hesitation.

Stephen replaced a less than one year old kitchen sink with a new one. His estimate on how long was spot on. I also had asked for some help with squeky floors and had a suggestion to save me some money and it worked pretty good! Stephen was right on time and did a great job.

The service was good. It took them three days to complete the job. There were unexpected issues, but we dealt with them. There were no additional charges to the $495 Big Deal.

That service turned out okay. One handyman came out and did some odd jobs for me.

It was a Big Deal purchase. There were no additional charges. Everything looked very good and it was professional-looking. It looked quality. What I disliked was that he was trying to sell me some vitamins that his wife would sell. There were no issues with the work that he provided. I probably wouldn't use them again because I don't want to talk about buying products or something but it was just okay.

Great. There were a few hours one day where he seemed to lose focus and didn't get much done, but other than that, his work was diligent, efficient, and top notch, especially on anything electrical. He saved me a fortune on those tasks alone, so I can't complain about a little wasted time, especially since it was not the norm. I really appreciate how much he got done, and how well he did it.

My wife contacted him through this site for a leaking toilet. He responded via email the next day asking her to call. She called the next morning, but he didn't answer. Then he called back at 9:30pm that night (a bit late when you have a 1yr old). After some more phone tag, they agreed on 4pm Saturday. At 4:30pm Saturday, he called and said he would be 2 more hours. At 7:30pm he called and said he could come over, but by that time our 1yr old was asleep and the bedroom is right next to the bathroom. My wife asked to re-schedule for Wednesday. He said he would have to check his calendar and get back to her. By Wednesday we still did not hear from him, so we fixed the leak (we think) ourselves. Not the timely, professional handyman we expected from reading these "A" reviews.

Arrived in time; rented a large ladder; wired fixtures, removed existing fixtures and replaced with new. Was neat and organized.

Stephen arrived on time and was well prepared for the jobs he was to complete. He immediately went to work on the kennel enclosure and completed the task in a timely manner. He inquired whether I would like the blocks stacked or used as a walkway on the side of our house. His suggestion of creating a walk path was excellent. He was meticulous in making sure it was level and straight. When I hired him it was just for the porch/kennel but I had some metal window blinds that were removed when I put in new windows so I asked if he knew how to install them. He said yes and very quickly installed them. When you hire someone who gets paid on an hourly basis you want someone like Stephen who knows what he is doing, gets down to business to complete the task in a timely manner, is respectful of your property cleaning up when needed, takes pride in his work and asks good questions to make sure he does what you want but also makes suggestions as in the case of me telling him to put the stepping stones and pebbles on the side of the house and his inquiring if I would rather have him make a walkway with the materials on the side of the house which turned out nicely.
