He did some grout work on tile and installed some curtain rods. Everything went fine.

Stephen was on time and went through the house getting what needed to be done. He was here two days and did an excellent job. I had asked for some ceiling work to be with textured. On the first day he worked that evening one of his friends called who could do the work. He started the next night. It was great Stephen had him call and set it up so quickly. His work was excellent and he is very thorough with all accounting and receipts and exactly how your money was spent. He got the supplies that were needed for the job. I will use him every time I need an handy man and am already building my list for spring. When Stephen was done with the work, I could not get home for an hour - it was no problem with him, he just waited until I got there. Thank you Stephen!!

Stephen suggested repairing it with wood putty which would be sanded and painted. He did a good job, although I had hoped the putty would be shaped a bit more to match the trim rather than applied flat; that said, it was a VERY minor thing and, once painted, not really noticeable. He sanded and painted all my trim and the end result was great.

Stephen came promptly and well-prepared with all the tools and items needed to do the jobs on the list ? and even one not on the list. He quickly and quietly went about his tasks, asking for input and explaining things when needed. When he spotted the ill-working light switches, he replaced them without a fuss. He's a good problem solver and was able to work through the issues with our pocket door and dormer vent. He explained in detail the problem with each, so we could readily explain them to a contractor who had the equipment and laborers to do those jobs. His charge for the service was very reasonable. We would definitely ask him for help again.

It was fine. So far he’s done 16 hours and he keeps track of the hours. I appreciate that he’s letting me take my time to have him to do the services. He’s a nice guy. He’s very helpful. He is honest. He has saved me money.

Stephen did an exceptional work. He helped prepare our house for going on the market. He priced his services very fairly and worked very hard. I highly recommend him.

Everything went well but he had only scheduled one day for our work and the work took an extra half day that he had to reschedule. The time this work took was reasonable and the quality was good. This is the second time we have used Stephen.

I sincerely enjoyed meeting and getting to know Stephen who owns Rent-A-Husband. He did so much for the money I paid him. A truly remarkable experience.

Stephen is very prompt, listens carefully to what you want and need, and works very efficiently.

He has done well so far. They have done most of the hours and they have approximately five left to do. We will use them again.

Stephen worked very hard several long days to get the 20 hours I had purchased in. He did a great job with everything and had good ideas about repairing things others told me had to be replaced. I knew they could be fixed, but did not know how; Stephen did and could do it. I have another todo list and intend to have Stephen back to work through it.

Stephen is great to work with. He has always been very accessible and responsive to my contacting him. Always been here when he said he would and at what time he said he would. I will definitely ask him back for more work in the future...

Everything went well. Not sure I would be happy with pace at full price.

Steven did a great job. I think he can repair anything. He's very creative too, seeking the best method for the best price. He's very efficient. He was at our home on 3 different dates. He has a unique look/character. However what's most important is has a talent and skills for his job as a handyman. We will use him again.

Steven was on time and very thorough in his work. He completed all of the work in less time than expected. When he left, the premises were clean of all debris. I was very pleased with the project completion and would recommend him to others.

I paid for the big deal, waited for an email...about four days later finally received an email that siad he would be out of tow for a week and would contact me from his vacation in Florida. He did not do so. I sent another email and gave him my cell phone number...waited four days, called again and left a message. The next day called again and asked what was going on. Still no message. Finally when I contacted Angie's List about a refund and told him that on yet another message he finally called back and said h was booking into late May after initially emailing me that a date in late April would work for the services he was to perform around the house--I have thus wasted essentially two and a half to three weeks when I could have already had these jobs done. Very disappointed to say the least.

I wouldn't hire him back. I asked him to install an outlet and he installed it, but not in the right spot. I also asked him to put my dishwasher so it went in all the way. I had removed the dishwasher and when he was done I looked at it and told him it needed to go in further. He said then you couldn't see the buttons on top. It was supposed to look built in. Then he realized a pipe needed to be moved. He made a big deal out of doing it, and lots of noise. When it was in it wasn't fastened. I fastened it myself. He responds to everything anyone says so I just didn't want to deal with it.

He worked quickly and efficiently. He made excellent use of his time, and we felt that we got a lot for our money. He was willing to take on various tasks both inside and outside the house.

He arrived a little earlier than booked. Was efficient and courteous. Nice conversation. He did everything I asked. I liked that he removed his shoes when entering my home. I had a problem with a jewelry case that he hung after a couple of times opening and closing it. I called him immediately to find out he was out of town. As soon as he received my message, he called me, came over that evening and repaired it. No charge. I was impressed. It only took him a few minutes to do the repair too. Did not interrupt my evening at all. I will most definitely hire him again.

Stephen was flexible when we needed to change dates at the last minute. He arrived right on time and got right to work. Not super fast but worked steady and efficiently. I would highly recommend.

After speaking with the service provider, he was kind enough to advise me that the work I was requesting would not benefit the sale of my house, which is what my end result was. I appreciated his honesty and his willingness to give me a refund. Very nice guy.

I don't recall being disappointed. But?sorry for not remembering.

It went very well. We were pleased with the work and Stephen's demeanor and professionalism. We look forward to have him coming out again in the next few weeks to take care of a leaky shower faucet, replace a light in our daughter's closet and fix a broken window pane in the garage and try to repair an electrically powered recliner.

They showed up on time and did the work.

Stephen was great. I admittedly thought my "wish list" of projects was complex enough that he'd skip over them, but he knew exactly what he was doing with everything, came prepared with all the right tools and all the right skills. A couple of my projects required random parts and he has spares for everything in his truck. I was impressed by his knowledge of a wide variety of different home maintenance topics - truly the definition of a "handyman!" He was friendly and professional and I felt very comfortable with him working alone on different projects all over my home. He arrived on time and quickly set-to-work. He bills by the hour which sometimes concerns me, but there was never any point where I thought he wasn't working as quickly as the project allowed. All-in it cost me $113.50 for 2.5 hours of work; this includes a couple misc. parts he had in his truck that I purchased from him - a great value for the service provided. He cleaned up after everything nicely. I would definitely hire Stephen again. The only two reaons I didn't give A's across the board are a) after I left a voicemail asking for his help with the project list, it took about a week to hear anything back. After 4-5 days of waiting I started calling other handymen (but didn't hear back from any of them either so maybe this is standard...?) Once I did hear back from him he was very responsive in scheduling an appointment right away at a time that was perfectly convenient for me. b) I also wish he would have taken his shoes off in this house. To be fair, I didn't ask him to, but service providers I've been truly over-the-top impressed by in the past have volunteered to do this without asking. Or at least put plastic booties over their shoes when they come in. He was very careful about wiping his boots on the mat each time - but that doesn't get everything on these slushy winter days. Other than these two (relatively small in my book) items, I was impressed by Stephan and very happy with the quality of the work.
