They did an excellent job!! The cabinets look like new ! The workmanship is excellent!! Steve came over to do the estimate and he promised to get it done the following week. He kept his promise and Dan, the carpenter showed up on time at 8:15am as scheduled. Dan was very friendly, kept all the dust and mess to minimum! He cut off he wood on driveway and the only way we know that’s because we have cameras!!😊 Everything was done with superb quality and workmanship! The price was affordable and honest!! Thank you so much guys and I am positive that you are our carpenters for life!!😊

We did a fair amount of searching for someone to do custom doors for two bathrooms. We found Imperial Custom Woodworking, contacted them and Steve came out to the house. As the son of an artisanal cabinet maker, I appreciated Steve's professionalism and skill. The final product was done exactly to specs, excellently. By the time we started demo-ing our kitchen and entryway, I had been in design mode for over a year. I had a specific vision and Steve worked with me until we got it right. After seeing Steve’s cabinets in a neighbor’s house, I knew I wanted the same quality and workmanship. Steve worked with our budget by redesigning the plans several times which included full kitchen cabinetry, a large island, and an entryway bench. I wanted stained cabinets with strong woodgrain and Steve and his finishing team provided multiple samples until I knew it was exactly what I wanted. When the install was done and I saw the kitchen and entry for the first time, I cried. They were exactly what I envisioned and more. They are beautiful and sturdy (the slides are quality--I’ve got them loaded up!) Despite COVID and quarantine, Steve was able to stick to our original install schedule. His team is professional, skilled, and friendly. The money we spent on the cabinets were worth every cent. Six months after our install, I honestly wouldn’t change a thing. I’m as happy tonight, as I write this review, as I was right after the completion of our kitchen. I highly recommend Imperial Custom Cabinetry--you won’t be disappointed!

if there were a higher grade than an A, I would give it. The cabinets are beyond what I envisioned. Steve and his crew were professional and always on time. Steve gave us several suggestions above our original plans that worked out perfectly. I would never use another company for woodworking. AMAZING!!!!

Steve and his team were professional and attentive to detail from start to finish. I cannot imagine receiving a better quality product for our new kitchen and mudroom/laundry room. We went with a white wash maple stain, as we didn't want to do painted cabinetry and wanted a more durable wood. The end product was beautiful. The design of the cabinets in terms of efficiency and functionality is amazing. After working in our kitchen for the past month, my husband and I cannot imagine anything we would go back and change. Steve was also instrumental in helping change our initial layout of our kitchen, so he also has an eye for design in helping to come up with the best plan for your space. We hope to use Steve and his team again in the future for other home projects!

My wife dreamed of new kitchen cabinetry. Steve and his highly skilled craftsmen made it a reality. She had a plan for what she wanted. Steve listened to her plan, made some observations and recommendations. The final kitchen is both efficiently functional and beautiful. The design is a mix of panel styles, paint and pulls with both quartz and quartzite countertops. Even after a month of completion, she stills is in the "Pinch me, is this really mine?" mode. Steve's team of cabinet makers, painters and trim carpenters give new meaning to the words precision and beauty. A close friend of ours has built homes for a living. He has a very critical eye for quality workmanship. When he inspected our finished kitchen, he was highly impressed and commented, "This is 10 star quality". We agree and recommend Imperial Custom Woodworking with no reservations.

After carefully reviewing other cabinet makers in the area we chose Steve and his team. Even though we had already designed the space Steve thoughtfully added his professional insight into our kitchen space. Steve is all about the minute details involving design, materials, and craftsmanship. The woodworking shop at Imperial exceeded my expectations. Steve and his team additionally created a custom table and island for us. The instillation team was also incredibly detailed and more than willing to address any questions or concerns we had. I am looking forward to using Imperial Custom Woodworking for all our future cabinet and woodworking needs.

They were fantastic! They were there when they said they would be, they cleaned up every day, they did a fantastic job. They also found another company to handle the stripping and painting we hated, which was great. I have hired many contractors over the years and this was one of my best experiences yet!

Had a small oddball project to address a spot where a hole was created after taking down an obtrusive bank of cabinets during a bathroom remodel. These guys did an impressively spot on job creating new / matching doors, and the guy that installed them was super friendly and professional. Would absolutely recommend and use Imperial again, and you're be hard-pressed to tell that the new doors weren't original. Thank you!

I recently had my third project done by Imperial Custom Woodworking. There have been problems with the installs on all three. My kitchen remodel was to have one cabinet with a piano hinge. It was improperly installed and had to be remade. They also gouged my new oak floor installing one of the pantry. Luckily it was hidden by the island we had made next. They forgot to install knob on blank door on the island. Third project was new cabinet doors and drawer fronts for both bathrooms. First time they came out 2 drawer fronts were a totally different color from the rest. So instead of sending them back to finisher to be stripped and redone, Imperial made new ones. Second ones were cut wrong and they put the old handles on instead of the new knobs I handed to the installer. The installer tried to convince me the "handles" looked good. I said no, and offered to pay for new drawer fronts if I had to, at the original price of $19.66. When I got the final bill I was charged $195.11 for two 13" X 6" drawer fronts and finishing. While I am satisfied with the finished product I feel ripped off.

This is the way projects are supposed to proceed. Steve was very responsive in all communications, worked with us to clearly lay out the timeline to ensure our project was done in time. Everyone associated with ICW (installers, finisher, countertop provider) were very professional. I have recommended Imperial Custom Woodworking to several friends and would do so again. They have recently completed a 2nd project for me a beautiful bathroom vanity.

It went extremely well. We contacted Steve, after we had other estimates. Steve is an extremely easy to work with. He gave us many great suggestions on what we could do after listening to our ideas. Some of the great suggestions by Steve were 1) center the range that we shifted to the right -see pictures, 2) add a trash can drawer instead of having a trash can outside, 3) add new carbinetry on the dining area facing the range and microwave- see picture. All this was beside some custom made cabinets that he built according to our specs. Remodeling a kitchen (as I learned it) takes a long time with many phases that include demolition, cabinet installation, countertop selection, cabinet stain type and color, countertop selection etc. We were guided by Steve step by step. He was so patient answering our questions, directing us to the next step and giving us head-ups on what is coming next. One last thing to mention, after the project was completed, we realized that there were a couple of minor issues. One of the cabinets next to the microwave and the microwave doors don't fully open (This was Microwave installation issue which was done after the cabinet installed). The second issue was about the trash can drawer where the base broke. I contacted Steve who assured me that his crew would come and fix anything that was done to our satisfaction. The same friendly crew came and took care of every thing. We are extremely happy and satisfied...Thanks, Steve!

The entire process from conception to installation was a very positive experience. Steve was quick to respond to questions and concerns and didn’t even mind when I changed my mind. The cabinets are like fine quality furniture...I am very happy! Just as I expected. The installers did a fabulous job and were friendly and professional.

Beautiful work. We love the furniture. It is both attractive and functional. When we had a minor problem with a drawer they came back out and fixed it immediately.

We had them do a complete finish (stain and varnish) which he contracts out. The finish and construction of the vanity was well done. Installation went well and within the time frame I needed. I highly recommend them and plan to use them in the future.

Steve did a great job. He is a perfectionist. He cleaned after completion of work as if there was not an evidence to suggest work was done. He is courteous and respectful. He did exceptional work .
