Salesperson and installers were all professional and showed up when they said they would (important when I am taking time off from work to meet them). Our fence has three gates, and one gate was not lining up correctly after the long winter. I called to see if could be adjusted, and was able to reach someone immediately and they fixed the issue within 48 hours of my call. Could have probably saved a little bit by hiring a less-established company but it would not have been worth it. Price was fair for the service and product we received.

The sales person was great- punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. They installed the fence in approximately 3 weeks, which seemed long, but bad weather played a factor. The fence looks great, but they needed to come back with a custom gate, which fell apart with a week of install. It took me another week to get someone to call me back and then the next day it was fixed. Overall, great experience, high quality, just a little poor on the communication side.

They did good work, the fence looks great, they fulfilled my expectations.

Contacted several companies to review work and request quotations. Midwest was very flexible in scheduling the appointment. Sales representative was knowledgeable and through our conversation, led me to the best solution. Quote was provided during his visit. After receiving other quotes, selected Midwest. Sales representative came back out for final discussion / review of work to be performed. I accepted the quote and paid in full up front to receive additional discount. Representative said work would be done about 3 weeks out. At 4 weeks, I called Midwest scheduler. He said I was on the schedule for following week. Crew arrived on scheduled day and installed posts. After a week and a half, they came back to finish installation. Gate was not installed (perhaps did not have the parts), but crew returned first thing next morning to complete the job. Looks great! Good installation! Only recommendation for improvement would be better communication on scheduling and more detailed work schedule (lag time between post installation and completing the job). I would consider for future needs.

They have very good service. They were polite and professional. They were also very timely. I am very very happy with their work.

We signed the contract towards the end of the 2012 season. A crew arrived to do the tear-out and post set. All of the old fence sections and wood were piled up on our yard near the street. Holes were dug and all of the fence posts set in concrete. About a week later another crew installed all of the chain link fence and did a great job. We only found one wire strand from the fence that was missed by the crew during clean up. Unfortunately, a mistake had been made in that a double gate was installed where a single gate was to be and vice versa. They scheduled a crew to come out, however winter hit and a snowstorm made the repair impossible. I paid most of their bill, reserving 15% until the repair was completed. In spring (what we had of it) 2013, as soon as the ground thawed a crew came out and made the fix. Our neighbors are very impressed with the fence. We obtained five bids for this work, and Midwest and another a rated Angies list company were at the top of the price (Midwest was higher). They agreed to match the lower price offered by the other A rated company. Even with our issues, we are glad we went with them, and believe that in this case you definitely get what you pay for. We have a great fence made with good quality materials that looks great. We would recommend them to others.

They just did a crappy job. It looks terrible.

On 2 of the new fence posts they did not nail the adjacent fence sections to the new post. They took the old posts, but left the old gate & fence section so I had to dispose of them. They also did a poor job of cleaning up the broken concrete from the old fence posts.

They came to install when they said. Took about two days. Did a great job. I had three estamates and they were the best price. They were about two thousand dollars less than others. I would use them again.

It went well. I particularly liked that they were all experienced in a specific task of putting the fence in. For example, they sent out a crew that was experienced in setting the posts. Then on day two, they sent out specialists in just hanging the fence. I have a very odd and steep type of lot, so they did a really great job. I’ve gotten several good comments on how well my fence looks.

The estimator said that the panels could not be reinstalled because of deteriorated stringers. New panels would be needed. I checked with another company who did the repair with the old panels, saving us half the cost of the Midwest estimate. They had no problem with the stringers.

The fence looks great and we are very happy with the experience overall. The only thing Midwest can improve is communication. We paid for our fence in full any and upfront after that I had to call them for every step in the process. It would of been nice to get a follow up call or something after the fence was installed to see if we had any issue..

We had Midwest out to do a chain link fence at our previous home and they did a fantastic job so we really wanted to use them again. When we got a bid on our fence they were about $3000 higher than the other bid we got, but worked with us to get the price down considerably. We liked them so much that even though they were higher in price we used them. Our fence looks great.

I started off contacting another Fence company and Midwest fence. After a couple of days Midwest fence was the first company to respond. The sales representative I talk to was Derek, and he was very professional about scheduling an estimate for the next week. He arrive the following week to estimate my fence to attach to my neighbors fence about 120 Sq total that need to be install a chain link fence. The other company also on angie's list that is #1 never called so I took that as a sign that they didn't want my business. The install for the post took about 2 hrs give or take very fast. Then, the next week they return to finish install of my chain link fence , and it only took them 2 hrs total to finish the chain link. Very impressive and top of the line well worth the time.

They told us they book out 3 weeks but the job was done much sooner than that. We had the property lines marked and we were having the fence moved to include about a foot of property back from a neighbor so we said we would have a gate done for them. The workmen were really great about meeting the needs of the neighbor for their gate. They did a great job on the fence, we love it and so do the neighbors on both sides of us. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

I wasn't happy. I think they are overpriced. They removed an old fence that was sitting on a wall and put the new fence in front of the wall. There was a space there that attracted rabbits so I had to put another one in there. They were supposed to haul away all the dirt and debris, but instead threw clay into our neighbors yard. I didn't like that because I paid them to take it away. I called them and told them that I wanted a refund of $200, and the next day they called me back and agreed. I haven't seen that money yet though. It has been more bothersome than helpful.

The appointment for the estimate went great, he was punctual and handed me the estimate before leaving. He also gave three different estimates with varying types of fence so I could decide what would be best for the yard and my budget. Once deciding on a style I was contacted for a date to begin the work. They were willing to work around my schedule. The crew that came out to put in the posts worked very efficiently, they made sure everything was as I wanted it. There was one workman who came out the following week to put up the fence, he did a great job making sure the fence lined up, was straight and the gates were put in correctly. This company was great to work with from start to finish. They answered all of my questions along the way.

I had a section of chain link fence missing and I wanted to replace it with a walk-through gate. I tried all the local home improvement/supply chains and either their pre-made gate panels did not fit properly or their custom ordered ones took weeks and cost $$$. I contacted several fence companies. Midwest was very responsive and was able to make my single custom size gate panel. They said it would be a few days to make it...it ended up taking less than 1 day. I installed it myself and it works great. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and just a plain delight to work with.

It went very well. They helped set up the services that needed to happen ahead of time: surveyor, removal of trees etc. On the day of installation, there was one area that we switched the height of the fence, due to a hill & a dog that could jump over it. All went well. We were impressed.

Great, Mike C. was great on responsiveness, estimate, followup. Installers and office also great. They also made great recommendations for our situation.

Job went well. Estimator was prompt and spent time answering my questions and going over any potential trouble spots. Final result looks very good and with 2 extra gates my back yard is finally secured but does not feel "walled in". Plus the black chain link is very compatible with older house/inner city neighborhood without the expense of wrought iron/metal type fence.

The crew did an excellent job. There are a couple of small things that didn't turn out the way I hoped but mostly things that nobody else would notice. However, one issue is evident. I did not expect the color of the new posts would match the color of the old fence but I did expect the color of the posts would all be the same. Unfortunately there are three different colors among the new posts. The differences are dramatic. After the job was complete I asked the company representative about this and he said that was the way the posts came from their supplier and they could not know this until they unpacked the load at the job site. This leaves me with no sure method of bringing the look of the fence posts back into some kind of order. I would rate this one item as a C or less for quality but since the rest of the quality of the job was excellent that raised may overall quality rating to a B.

They were responsive to my phone calls from beginning to end. I felt the estimate was reasonable and they finished the work up quickly. My only suggestion is that it would be nice if fence companies like Midwest were aware of city ordinances regarding fencing and provide that information when consulting with clients. I had several fence estimates and one of the people who came out took the time to inform me of the guidelines otherwise I would not have been aware of them.

Everything was great from start to finish. The price was right on. They installed the fence on the date and time they stated. i had no problems and would use them again. Very professional.
