Description of Work: We contracted with Superior in August for lawn mowing and then also snow plowing for winter. |Our experience has been stressful and frustrating to say the least. You can never actually talk to anyone when you call, you go through 3-4 messages and then leave a message and usually do not even get a return call. There books are all goofy and they loose contracts and don't show up, |very unprofessional. |I do not like having to beg a company to come and do the job we contracted for. I guess they have to many customers or something,I just don't know.

+ -1 moreThey were great but we decided to go with somebody else. We actually never decided to go with the drawing. The drawing was $1200 with the plan. Their first step is to do a master plan drawing. I would get a quote from them in the future.
Description of Work: We got an estimate from Superior Lawn & Landscape. They quoted us for the master plan of the full landscaping.

+ -1 moreI met Gunars (Landscape Architect and Horticulturist) at the Superior Lawn and Landscape booth in March 2013 at the Eden Prairie Lawn and outdoor show at Grace Church. We spoke about my project and I took his card. He was 1 of 3 businesses that I contacted for a design and estimate. He came out and walked me through options as price was a consideration. He also listened carefully to my concerns and came up with a design I really liked. The other business came out and also gave me a design and estimate, however I chose Superior Lawn and Landscape as the design and price fit the best. I signed the contract on 5/15 and due to the wet weather and previous commitments, work could not begin until May 29 and it took 3 days, due to the rain every afternoon. The crew was friendly, polite and always ready to answer any questions. They dug out all the old timbers, fixed the slope and eliminated the one end of the timber wall. The new wall is curved on both ends and looks great! Part of the cost included hauling away all the olf timber on my property from an old raised garden bed and deck rail (which Gunars suggested they could do). that was so worth it to me. Gunars did a final walk through before I finished paying for the project. We discovered 1 cap stone that was the wrong color. It was noticeable only in the sun and when it was dry but we agreed he would replace it with in a week. He did and I am very pleased with the project, My grade on responsiveness is due to my numerous calls to Eric to try and pay my deposit and he never returned a single call. Gunars did return my calls and so I called him for all future questions. I would defintely use this company again.
Description of Work: Replaced 2 30 year old timber walls with modular block, redo edging and maintenance strip, add red limestone rocks as needed. Free estimate and design was provided prior to work being done.

+ -1 moreFairly decent but not very good communication when I have questions. Either I am not watering correctly or the treatments don't seem to be very effective, except for the weed control.
Description of Work: Apply 6 chemical treatments to my lawn from early spring to fall.
