Description of Work: Tree stumps removed and tree trimming.

Description of Work: A tall tree (some type of willow) in our back yard was struck by lightning and needed several large branches cut down as soon as possible so it wouldn't fall on our neighbor's shed and into their yard. We called several tree services, listed in our local paper (before we joined Angie's list!), however, since it was the Saturday of the July 4th weekend, many did not return the call until Sunday or Monday. Paul Bunyan Tree Service (a husband and wife team) called within a couple of hours and came over the same afternoon. They had to use the back boulevard off the highway to get to the tree and also had to work around our wooden fence. As he cut the branches, his wife carried them to a shedder/chipper. They were courteous and cleaned up the area nicely when they were finished. The estimate over the phone was $450 but was raised to $485 when they saw the actual tree. The cost of tree cutting is expensive but I don't think we could have gotten it cheaper from any other service.

Description of Work: We have a backyard full of VERY tall Box Elder Trees. We had one tree completely removed (less the stump), and many large and small branches trimmed off of approximately 8 other trees. All of the trees required climbing to remove the many branches. They also cleared away all of the small branches, along with cutting and stacking the bigger logs in our backyard (this was per our instructions).
