We used Mayte's service for a little over 6 months. We were not happy with the scheduling of service at all. We requested that the crew came at the same time every other week as we have a newborn and a 9 year old and it takes planning getting everyone out of the house while they are there. Ever week the crew showed up at a different time, and multiple times we had to rush to get everyone out of there. I made multiple requests to the owner "Mayte?" via emails (no one ever answers the phone) but still they showed up at random times. The final straw was when they were supposed to be at our home at 10:00am, and didn't show up until 1:30pm and we asked them to come back at 2:00pm so we could get ready to leave for the weekend and they said they were unable to come back a half hour later. After being fed up for so long, I canceled service.

Our experience was a mix. Mayte's Housecleaning cleaned our home for 7+ years. We felt the price was really good, but we did laugh at a few things. There are a few different crews that work for her. One of the crews was great at making our bed, tucking in the sheets properly down by our feet, but they'd miss washing any dirty dishes (we tried not to leave very many but inevitably had some pots and pans that needed washing). The other crew wouldn't tuck in the feet of our sheets but would wash our dishes. We honestly did laugh at this - it was consistent enough to be pretty funny. :) I do agree with another poster about the slipperiness of the floors; I'm not sure where that came from but within a day or two they were back to normal. I'd recommend them provided you don't mind the quirks!

Did great at first, but seemed as time went on, I found things that weren't cleaned. Also I always found myself and quot;straightening upand quot; after the workers-- felt like things were picked up during clean, and just placed and quot;whereeverand quot;-- Not Neatly. Also, when I brought this up with the owner, she said she would then send the and quot;most experienced crewand quot; the next time, which I didn't understand. Why doesn't your 'entire crew' clean like the rest? Why would I want an and quot;experienced crewand quot;? Made me feel like and quot;substandardand quot; help was sent my way.

We have been using Mayte's Housecleaning for almost a year now and I am pleased with the service provided. They are always on time and accommodating when our schedule needs to shift. We have two dogs and they've never had an issue cleaning around them (they are in kennels during the day). Excellent value for the price paid.

Mayte and her crew cleaned my house for over three years, during which time I saw the service decline to the point where I let her go. Issues that I had with the cleaner included: Cleaners would leave many things in the home out of place. I understand that things have to be moved to clean, but I don't understand why after cleaning every curtain in my home has to be pushed completely to one side. Great that you dusted the window sills, terrible that I have to spend a half hour every time the house gets cleaned fixing what was left askew. The cleaners never, ever once vacuumed the upholstery. I have two cats and they of course leave fur on the furniture. With most cleaners, this service is part of your basic cleaning. This is not the case with Mayte's Cleaning. The cleaners would routinely leave the hardwood floors in my home dangerously slippery. I'm unsure what type of cleaning product was being used on them, but I mentioned it to Mayte several times and the problem persisted. Cleaners would routinely just and quot;forgetand quot; to clean a certain part of the house. Typically it was my back porch. Often it was my kitchen counters or the coffee table in my living room. Mayte would frequently ask to reschedule my cleanings, yet she became very annoyed when I had to ask to do the same. Eventually, she was refusing to come during busy holiday times (read, the last three weeks of December) despite having been a customer for many years. Crews were not respectful of the property. I have hardwood flooring, and they would literally drag their heavy vacuums up and down my hardwood stairs denting and nicking the wood as they went. I witnessed this twice (typically I wasn't home when they cleaned) and when I brought that up with Mayte it did stop, but the cleaning got even poorer quality after that. The straw that broke the camel's back: Mayte's crew broke a small piece of glass that was protecting the top of a dresser. The glass was inexpensive and easy to replace. However, the cleaners never came forth to tell me that this had happened. My first tip off that there had been an issue was that, for the first time ever, the cleaners had brought the recycling out to the curb. This is because it had been full of broken glass. This was not a replacement cost issue, this was a trust issue. I cannot allow people to have access to my home when I am not there that I cannot trust. Even when I brought the issue up during the annual survey, it was not addressed. I did finally have to end my relationship with Mayte, at which point I asked her to return my keys. I had to ask her two times over two weeks to do this - after which she finally said she would send it. Several days later, I received a completely empty, sealed envelope from Mayte in the mail with nothing in it. I don't know if she never put it in the envelope, if it was removed from / lost the mail. I do know was her responsibility to get that key back to me safely. I now have to have my locks re-keyed at my own expense to protect my home.

. I have been using them for about a year now. They clean just about every room in our house. They vacuum underneath furniture and will move the furniture if needed. They are very good.
