I wanted my garage door opener replaced. The new unit was up and running within several hours of my call, all for a grand total of $385.

Save my life. Garage door came off tracks and couldn’t close garage door. Needed to leave by 11:30 am for the airport. Very responsive and helpful,garage door fixed by 10:00 am. Thank you so much for your prompt service. This is the second time I have used their service and will again In the future if needed.

I thought that a the opener would need to be replaced. That wasn’t necessary and he put in a new gear which didn’t cost as much. He also tuned the ‘car to opener’ so I could open the garage door from the car. As I didn’t have a clue how to do that i really appreciated that.

Garage Door Man was called out to balance door and lubricate. I'm very pleased with the operation and quiet operation of the garage door now. I'm disappointed in the excess amount of lubrication that it was dripping along the main rail and also onto the front top center of the garage door. Next time, I'll request easy on the amount of lubricant.

They were a able to help us the same day, which was very important to us in securing our garage and protecting our belongings. They were very resourceful in getting the door closed without replacing broken parts. We are now working with them to replace the entire door and track assembly. We are very are very happy with the service we received.

Troy Enderson responded to our request within four hours of the initial call. He identified the problem in a timely manner and had the necessary part on hand to repair our garage door opener.

On Sunday the spring broke on our double garage door. We did not want to call the last company we used, as they were very high pressure and aggressive. We were needing a spring replaced, but they were determined to sell us new doors and openers immediately! When they realized we were not going to do that, they did replace the spring and finally left. It was a very uncomfortable experience. Remembering that experience led me to begin a search for a new company After considerable on-line research and reading reviews, we fortunately found The Garage Door Man. On Monday afternoon I called The Garage Door Man and spoke with Crystal. She was very professional, knowledgeble and quoted the repair cost, which was very reasonable. We scheduled the repair for Tuesday morning between 11:00 and 12:00 noon. I received a call from Crystal on Tuesday morning that Troy could come earlier, at 10:15. I find it very thoughtful when a company provides updates regarding appointments. Troy was prompt, very professional, friendly and there was no pressure for extra services. The repair was completed in a timely manner for the exact estimate amount quoted by Crystal. Troy had also performed a maintenance check and adjustments on the door! We highly recommend Troy, The Garage Door Man, and will not hesitate to call him for future repairs and services!

We had Garage door man install a chain drive opener, and could not be happier with this business. The price was reasonable, all our questions were promptly answered prior to installation, and the install was meticulously completed, which I genuinely appreciated. For example, the opener's wire was so tightly and neatly installed on my garage ceiling and wall, I can hardly see it. True professional, I wouldn't hesitate to use him in the future. Only fixes what needs to be fixed.

It went very well. I was able to call on a Wednesday and got an appointment for the next morning. Prior to arriving, the Garage Door Man went on Zillow to look at our specific door and realized it would need a special spring. He called ahead and arrived right on time (with the correct spring in hand!). GDM did the work quickly and efficiently, and also oiled up the rollers and hinges (which I hadn't even asked him to do). Definitely my first call next time.

I emailed Garage Door Man with a description of the repairs that I thought were needed. Within minutes I had an approximate estimate of the cost based on my description from Laura Ann, the office manager. I was able to schedule a convenient time to have the repairs performed - with a one hour arrival time window! Unheard of these days. Troy, the owner, arrived at 12:30 even though Laura Ann asked that I be prepared to wait the full hour. Troy looked at the garage door and said that it only needed a new cable and a new track. After talking with him, I had both tracks replaced as I was concerned about the condition of the still functioning track. He repaired the garage door promptly and even lubricated the door spring and all of the rollers (no extra charge). He even seemed to enjoy his job and was very professional. What more can you ask for? Call Garage Door Man for your next repair or replacement.

This was actually the second time I used him. He was quick, both in being able to be here and then performing the task. He is pretty reasonable in pricing.

Troy did a fantastic job installing a new garage door opener.He was on time, courteous, and finished the whole job in 90 minutes. He even subtracted the cost of a previous service call once we decided to replace our old 20 year old opener. I would recommend Troy highly.

I used someone for garage doors and it was somebody who was not on Angie's List, the name was Garage Door Man. They were local guys, the price was real good, they were professional, they knew what they were doing and you could tell they were experts. They knew what they were doing. They had to take down some old garage doors and put up some new ones and then make some changes for me. They did the job and didn't nickel and dime me to death, you know, like, oh, that's 10 dollars more. They were good guys. The price is always the hard one but I give them a 'B'. You don't want to pay, you always pay too much but the price could always be better. They were very responsive.

Troy was excellent. I cannot say enough good things. He was on time, charged exactly what he quoted and even took the time to explain a few of the features on my new door. This would be expected if I had purchased the door through him, but he took the time even though I used a different source for the door itself. If I had to do it over I would have just called him first and saved myself the hassle of dealing with a separate vendor for the door purchase. I will definitely use him again should the need arise.

Called Troy on Thursday to see if he could replace the bottom weatherstripping on my double garage door. We set up a time for the following Monday, but he asked if he could come earlier if he got a chance. I said any day after 5pm. He as able to send Tony out to do the job Friday evening. Tony was very polite and professional and did the job quickly and it looked great. I would definitely call them again.

Troy showed up promptly, was extremely polite, completed repairs quickly and was on his way. We asked him to mount his business information right next to opener remote! :) :)

He arrived within one hour of my phone call and made the repair in 30 minutes. Wow! And he was reasonably priced!

I tried getting quotes from multiple providers and also from Troy. He first asked me which garage door opener I was installing. After that he suggested some openers based on the door and the parts that will be needed. I picked up chamberlain belt drive along with extender. Troy showed up at requested and during installation, he found that the box was missing pieces. He had more appointments that day so he left. I took the box back to Home Depot and got the missing screws. Troy came back few days later and installed the opener. He didn't charge extra since he was not responsible for missing parts. He did a great job.

Called Thursday afternoon and Troy arrived Friday morning at 8:00AM sharp even after a snow storm. Everything was fixed as expected and the door is now functioning great. Thank you.

It was sunday morning and my garage door wouldnt open. I called multiple companies and the Garage Door Man was the only company to call back that day. We scheduled it for the very next day. They said a garage door spring would be $189 and they would do a free maintenance and lube on the garage. They gave me a 2-3 hour time window of when they would be there and showed up with 10 minutes to spare so they were within their time frame. The individual that came said it would take 30 minutes to change so I went back inside. They were able to put on a spring but the guy said, and quot;Well, I need to order you a bigger spring and its going to cost you an additional $200.and quot; I said and quot;oh, well have your guy call me.and quot; He said, and quot;This spring will work until we get it ordered but wont long term.and quot; The office guy called me (can't remember name) and he stated it's not $200 but will be another $100. I asked why the change from the $189 and he said well the spring costs him $50 and his guy has to come out again. NOT sure how that is my fault. Found out they don't have springs in their trucks/vans for heavier/bigger garages. So I was stuck at that point. Do I call another company to come out or just pay the $100 and be done with. So I said sure whatever. When they got the spring they came again and showed up on time. He put in the bigger spring and was done in 30 minutes. The maintenance that they do is only putting oil on the main track. QUALITY: I put N/A under quality because its a spring and I would have no idea if it is of good quality or not. I hired them for two main reasons: one for quick responsiveness (first to call back on a Sunday) and two cost (QUOTED $189). : Well, they increased their price once they did the job which I didnt like. Positives: -The guy stated they have a lifetime warranty on all Springs. Not sure if that's normal but nice. Haven't looked into what that really means though. -Called back immediately -They were on time. -They do work Saturdays. Negatives: I was very disappointed in the fact they increased the price after the install. I told them my spring broke when i booked the appointment and what kind of garage door but to then charge me for the additional trip and labor kinda irked me. Also, the fact they don't carry springs for heavier doors surprises me. I wouldn't have expected my door to be super heavy requiring a spring a garage company wouldn't carry. I have a normal duel car garage, wood. I feel they should be asking these questions if they are going to throw out prices like that and if not, stand by your quote for a spring repair. Increase the price after they install the wrong spring felt a little bait and switch. Also, that caused me to be home for two appointments versus just one visit. RECOMMENDATION: I would still hire them again and will if something happens. BUT I would advise anyone that calls them and or any garage company to first measure the length of your garage. Get a quote. Then if you think its outside a normal door in weight (not sure how one would know) but then ask them the price if you need a spring for a heavy door before ordering. That way you save your time (one visit versus two from them) and you don't get a surprise 53% increase on your bill. Hope this helps.

Spring broke, called them and they fixed it.

He arrived at the agreed upon time and performed the work, all without supervision because of a previous appointment I had. Very reliable, dependable and professional.
