Two men arrived on the promised date, one older with a younger helper. The older man was experienced and answered the numerous questions my husband asked and gave him some great ideas on how best to repair some other issues with our patio.. They did a great job and the concrete was raised successfully. Our expectations were fully met. They also cleaned up very well.

I had one section of my concrete sidewalk that had settled on one side, causing a big tripping hazard for anyone who came to the front door. I called five different companies to get an estimate on having that section leveled. Two of the Five companies told me it was too small of a job for them to come out and do. One company told me over the phone that it would be cheaper to just replace the section at $225.00. Another company quoted me over the phone $250.00 and said that they would let me know if they were ever in my area to do the work then. When I called Metro Concrete Raising, I finally got a company who was willing to come out and give me an estimate!Randy from Metro Concrete Raising came out the next evening to give me an estimate. He quoted me $200 to level that section. While Randy was here, we noticed that a couple other sections were just a little bit off on the edges. He said that would be able to get those leveled too all within that $200 quote. Randy was very nice in answering all my questions and professional in explaining the mudjacking process. He also gave me estimates on some other concrete work that I mentioned I needed done in the future.After accepting Metro Concrete Raising proposal/estimate, Randy said he would call and let me know when they would come and fix the sidewalk. He said that it would probably be the following week.I got a call the following Sunday evening to let me know that they would be here on Friday.The two friendly workers came out on Friday and leveled 3 out of 5 concrete sidewalk sections. They did the work in about a half hour . The two of them cleaned up very well after they were finished. I am a "neat freak" and honestly if I did not see that there were a few tiny holes filled with concrete, I would have never have known they were here. They left no mess at all. I really appreciate the work they did, and will definitely be using them in the future.Thanks Metro Concrete Raising for taking the time to come out and give and actual estimate and for doing my "small" job!

Metro Concrete was very responsive to my call for quotation and very competitive in price. Everyone I had quote the job had glowing reports on Angie's List but I chose them based on responsiveness and price. They worked hard to accommodate a difficult schedule and unfortunately were delayed due to weather conditions, setting back their whole schedule. In the process of replacing the foundation blocks in the adjoining garage wall, the problem couldn't be addressed as originally expected. I had numerous conversations by phone as they worked their way into the foundation and was very clearly informed about several options. The foreman's knowledge and ability to explain the procedure, cost and consequences of each option as well as his opinion about the job was invaluable. We chose the more expensive, complete fix and were very glad we followed his advice. If we had done any other repair procedure, not only would the wall not have been supported sufficiently, but within a short period of time would have been paying for the work to be done again as the course of block below the surface was completely destroyed. His advice saved us a lot of money and frustration. Not only was the structural work done quickly, cleanly and neatly, but the work that was done to the sidewalk and driveway was absolutely beautiful. In addition, since these two residences were rental units managed by two different managers, Metro did a fabulous job of keeping everyone informed about changes in schedule and expectation. Even so, one of the renters was quite difficult and the crew did an fabulous job of dealing with a very unpleasant situation. Metro's people are real pros in every sense of the word - I highly recommend them.

I communicated with Metro thru e-mail on 7/13. On 7/16 they came out and left me a bid for 415.00 and a guarantee from settling for three years. I waited until I received another bid then mailed the acceptance proposal back to Metro Concrete Raising,Inc. I was scheduled within a week. It went great. They showed up at noon and was done by 1 pm. Besides leveling the sidewalk they also raised the curb and patched a 18" popout to make it a smooth transition. They even filled a second pop out which I didn't expect. I was their third job of the day with one more after mine. My wide sidewalk no longer has trip hazard and no more hitting the uneven slabs with a snow blower or shovel. I mean how many times have I ran a shovel into my stomach after I hit the uneven slab or bounce the snow blower. If you want to save a third to half the cost of concrete replacement this is the way to go.

Told us they would be out to do the estimate and that we did not need to be home. That was perfect based on our schedule. Left estimate in front door. We asked for estimate for retaining wall and to mudjack front step. Chose not to do retaining wall because may be doing an addition in the area of it. They came out within the time frame they said they would to do the estimate. I called on the 10th to confirm them doing the front step. I was supposed to return the confirmed estimate in order for them to complete. They then said they would be out in the next 10 days. I forgot to send the form in, but they called me the next week to tell me they would be in my area the next day. Was very thankful they kept me on the list since I forgot!!! Two men showed up first thing then next morning and had completed the work within 45 minutes. They were quick, clean and super kind. They even relocated a garter snake that had been living in the sidewalk crack to the woods in back! Will definitly refer to others and have for future work when needed!!!!

This is the second time I've used their services (two different houses). The process was very simple. I called and left them a voicemail. They came out and provided an estimate. This was done within a few days. Once I agreed to have the work done it was completed within 2 weeks as scheduled. Great service and nice work.

Our garage foundation wall was crumbling and opened a rather large hole under the garage. It was very difficult to find a company willing to come out to look at the job, or even give us an estimate, as it was so small. Randy was willing to come to our home, tell us what needed to be done, and give us an estimate. The crew did a wonderful job. We really appreciated their hard work.

It took a couple of weeks to get a quote and then a couple of more weeks before they did the work. The young man who did the quote admitted that he was new and really wasn't able to answer all my questions. One of the most important sections of sidewalk settled after the concrete dried and so it is still uneven with the next section. It's much better than it was, but not as good as I had hoped. They didn't fill one of the cracks in the steps, even though the estimator told me they would. (I was not charged for it either, so I did not lodge a complaint.) They left excess concrete all over the place. Most of the work was satisfactory and overall the sidewalks are in much better condition than they were, but I think it could have been done much better. Overall, I was left with the feeling that because it wasn't a big job for them, it didn't require their best effort. If cost is your main concern and "good enough" is all you need, then get a quote from them. As for me, I will try someone else next time, even if they cost a little more.

Get three bids but make sure you include Metro Concrete for comparison. They do concrete repair as well as raising.

. Their quote was reasonable. They were timely in showing up to do the estimate, they got back to me and they followed up. I did not have contact with them other than over the phone. . I would consider this provider to provide me with a quote in the future.

They met all of our expectations for what we wanted done and I thought the price was fair. It's hard to judge just how much something like this should cost. The only snafu was that, through a misread of the invoice, we initially overpaid by $50. I had to call twice to get this fixed but, when I got a hold of the right person, it was fixed. In the end, I looked at the billing error as an honest mistake.

It went very well. They quoted our project when we weren't home (a benefit) and we available to discuss our quesitons via the phone. They gave us advice as to how to manage the driveway so that we don't have similar issues in the future. Great job!

They had scheduled to do the work on Friday July 15th but called that morning to cancel as storms were moving into our area, they rescheduled for the next Friday. That next Friday I got a call from them cancelling the work as they ran out of material on a previous job. They rescheduled for Tuesday. They did the work quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I'm pleased with the end result, but was frustrated by the delays.

It was a very rainy morning and a very hot and humid afternoon and even though they were behind schedule, due to the weather, they came anyway as that was what we needed. They did an awesome job of filling in the void under the front porch and leveling all of the sidewalk. They worked hard in unbearable conditions and left our yard clean. We would recommend them to anyone who needs concrete work done. They let us watch and answered all our question about what they were doing and why. They left us informed of what to do in the future. They have the process down to a science and we could not of been happier.

Came out same day we called to schedule bid. Cost was ~1/2 of the other estimates we received. Sidewalk was surrounded by flowerbeds and they managed to keep everything perfect. The job itself was also finished ahead of schedule.

I have a 5x5 concrete pad that leads to the front porch. This pad has sloped towards the house so when it rains, water pools in this area. I called 2 mudjacking services to come out for an estimate. The first company I called quoted me a price over the phone for $600 based on the size of the pad. I was surprised it would be so high.. especially without seeing it. I then called Metro Concrete Raising and they said they would send someone out for an estimate. A very nice man came out for the estimate and he quoted us a price of $325. Since we live far from their office, it was made known to us up front that we might have to wait a week or two before they can come out to do the work. We were fine with that. We immediately wanted Metro to do the work for us. On June 16th, 2 young men came by and raised the concrete pad back to its original position. They drilled a few holes and when the work was completed they neatly filled the holes. I was impressed with how well they cleaned up after the work was done. I would hire this company again in the future.

My interaction with them was fine. It took him little longer than I expected to get here. The estimate he gave was fair, but in the interim I got an estimate from somebody else and went with them.

They did a great job. good price, completed the work promptly and the work has held up great since.

They were great. We had a patio and sidewalk that had sunk from too much settling and they were able to correct it so now the water does not run towards the house.

I called Metro Concrete Raising about a week before the work.The concrete patio had settled and rain water was standing on it and keeping the base of the patio door flooded. They responded promptly, someone came and gave me an estimate in 24 hours, and then scheduled the work. They came on the scheduled day, worked for about 90 minutes and raised the concrete area close to the house about 1.5-2 inches, creating a slope. They also added some concrete to the area that couldn't be raised because the air conditioning was standing on it. The result is pretty good, although the slope is not big, it permits the water to better drain.

Only complaint is that they like to do estimates when they can schedule and then leave estimate in the front door. We had to make a couple of calls to get them to meet with us in person. Job was completed on time and they cleaned up after themselves very well.

I called for an estimate after I could not get their online estimate form to work properly. They came out promptly and made an estimate that seemed reasonable. They were able to do the work sooner than expected, due to a cancellation. I was not home for the work. The work was done cleanly and exactly as I had requested.

From my first call, they were able to come out and make an estimate within a couple of days. The estimate was well below the cost to replace the city walk alone which the City of Minneapolis was going to do. The work was done as scheduled and promised with no distruption to my lawn. I did need to add dirt and grass seed to fill in now that the walks were raised, but I was told that would be my expense when the estimate was written, so no surprises there. This experience turned out to be easy and far less confusing that I expected as my first experience with this kind of thing.

Raised 8x10 concrete slab that had sunken over the last 35 years. The slab tilted inwards to the walkout and had settled 4" at the base of the walkout. Also had a sunken 3x3 slab by the service door on the garage. Metro concrete raised by slabs by mudjacking to obtain proper drainage and raised both slabs about 4". I was concerned that the holes needed to be drilled into the concrete for the mud jacking would ruin the appearance of the concrete. I did not find that to be the case at all. It blends well into the aged concrete. They were prompt on my bid, provided references and did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer to others.
