Overall great work! Quality performance. Minor concerns: After initially stating they could meet a given date, that date slipped, so work was done when we were out of town. Luckily, there was no problem with the work when we arrived back home to inspect it. Original estimate was based on specs that we changed; final bill was based on original estimate/specs. When I made them aware of this they quickly corrected the final billing. All in all, I am highly pleased with the job they did, and the customer experience.

We really liked Randy and his team. Professional, punctual, up front and easy to work with. Mudjacking our front stoop is no longer a possibility. Randy and team provided great advice and were clear with what could and could not be accomplished. I would recommend Randy and Metro Concrete raising to others.

I hired this company remotely to replace the garage floor at my deceased mother's home in connection with the sale of the home. I was provided a quote which I agreed to. I also asked Phil to take a look at the foundation under the floor, and was told that the cracking that was visible was just aesthetic, and didn't need to be repaired. The work was performed on the agreed upon date, but I heard nothing from the company. When I asked for the bill in connection with the closing of the home several days later, I was told for the first time that work was done to the foundation, and that the charges were an extra $1200. When I expressed surprise, and asked why I was never called before, during, or even after the extra and unauthorized work was done, Phil told me that nobody called me "because I couldn't say no anyway" -- what I assume to be a reference to Phil knowing that the floor needed to be poured that day or the sale and closing would be jeopardized. I feel I was victimized by this company, taken advantage of because I lived out of town and because of the time crunch of the impending closing. It is absolutely untenable that nobody from the company tried to call me to discuss the scope of the extra work, robbing me of the opportunity to determine whether it was really necessary or whether I could have tried to shift some of the financial burden to the buyers. I am shocked by the lack of professionalism here, and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Several weeks ago Phil stopped by and gave me an estimate of work to be done. He's easy going and made no attempt to hard sell for a signature--my kind of guy. He listened carefully and prepared a well worded written estimate. I signed on the spot as I knew going in the company is the highest rated concrete lifter on Angie's List. Nick and John showed up on time despite the heavy rain in the morning. They walked through the work request with me to make sure they understood what I wanted. The front step was a big challenge as there is no footing under the bottom step. They drilled extra holes and brought in a big bar for leverage and propped it up while they filled the cavity. It looks perfect! They also took extra care detatching the walkway in back from the house so the lifting would not damage the stucco. Really well done. At all times Nick and John were respectful and alerted me whenever they ran into issues. I chose Metro Concrete Raising due to the high rating in Angie's list and I could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend their services.

They did a good job on the driveway. I feel like should have left more follow up information on how to caulk after they are done raising it.

Reached out to Metro Concrete Raising on June 19th via Angie's List, and received a call that same day to set up an appointment for Friday, June 26 at 10:00 in the morning to get an estimate for the work. I took that morning off from work so that I could accommodate his work schedule only for him to not show up or call. Wasted a half day off/ Haven't heard from them since.

Not a good experience for me at all. I called several days in advance. I informed the company I had three major projects to look at: Sidewalk Leveling, Garage floor leveling, New Driveway. I was given a two day window. I informed the person that there were people here all day long on both days. I did receive a call on the first day but missed it - my fault. The second day (early morning) I called the estimator back and informed them they could come out at any time. The response was "Call the office and see if we could reschedule". Bottom line is I gave this company a chance at a fairly high cost project and they let me down by not listening to me about availability, blowing me off on the second day when they had committed to being available for an estimate, and asking me to call them to schedule again - putting the burden on me while trying to earn my business. So, I can't do business with a company that demonstrates poor customer service beginning with the estimating process. Very disappointed that I could not effectively engage given the rest of the ratings indicated here.

Like I mentioned above, we needed additional work completed and this company made our drive functional and beautiful again. It was so refreshing that Metro Concrete was so responsive, the job was done so quickly. No waiting, the company has excellent consumer service. I will hire this company again. Thanks to al involved with this project. I LOVE my driveway !!

I was very pleased to receive a prompt response from Phil from Metro Concrete Raising today. I had only entered the request on the company website a couple of hours ago or less. I am interested in having an asphalt driveway replaced with concrete and was able to explain the situation to Phil. He discussed what the costs would be and answered my questions along the way. When he heard that I was also considering asphalt, he offered a recommendation of an asphalt business that he has worked with and spoke highly of. This action by itself tells me that Metro Concrete Raising is not a business that only looks out for its own best interest, but also in the interests of the client, even if that means they have to send a prospective customer away to someone else. I appreciate being listened to and helped as I consider the best options for our driveway. Although we have not used the service of Metro Concrete Raising yet, knowing that they are a company that is operated with integrity, great customer service, and years of experience in the industry, I would recommend it to others who are considering concrete work. If/when we decide to get our driveway replaced with concrete, I will hopefully have many more positive things to say on this review board. They were timely, showed up when they said they would and did what they said they would. They also ended up charging the same price they had actually quoted me.

Everything turned out well. They showed on time for the estimate as well as the day of the work, the crew was well-organized and friendly, and they did a great job. Additionally, I really liked their honesty when they explained that the problem was due to my landscaping rather than the actual concrete because I ended up saving around 2,000 dollars. Ultimately, they did an excellent job, and we plan to use them for installing a new concrete driveway.

The two pieces of sidewalk were perfectly level with each other when they were finished. They do this by drilling holes in the sunken piece of concrete and pumping something under it to raise it up. Way way cheaper than replacing the concrete. Their attention to detail is amazing, they even spread sand over the wet sticky filler so that small animals don't get stuck in it. These guys even did a small masonry job for us at no charge! When they were gone there was no sign that they had been here, except for the perfectly level sidewalk which nobody trips on anymore. Excellent.

They arrived on time, drilled holes thru the slab and pumped mud (wet concrete) into the holes and under the slab raising it back into alignment. They then filled and finished the holes and provided verbal instructions for calking the seam once dried.

Philip came out in fall of 2013 to give us bids. After our association's board made a decision, Metro Concrete Raising, Inc. scheduled the work to begin in late September 2013. The sidewalk areas were raised. However, before all the other work was completed, weather got too cold to do all the concrete pouring. That was finished in May of 2014 as was the repair of brick. They were prompt and very professional through the complete project. At the first meeting with our board to walk around the area, they listened to our needs plus offered some wonderful suggestions. They got back to us answering any questions we had. Worked with us on a few things that weren't covered in the original quotes. Followed up, as promised, in spring when weather allowed their working again with cement. The men that did the work were great to deal with. They were prompt, made sure each area was picked up after they were done, and again willing to answer our questions. Our experience with them was a good one from start to finish.

Metro Concrete did a beautiful, professional job, They were punctual, courteous, and did a fast, great job mudjacking around our house. We live in Rochester, MN and they had a number of jobs in the area and were able to fit us in within one week. I had called another company in the area that was less expensive but indicated on the quote that there might be cracks in the concrete (not good). When I called them back to ask a question on the quote, they never returned my call (definitely not a good sign). I was given the name of Metro Concrete Raising by a friend who also had mud jacking done around their house and I am delighted with the job they did.

Very pleased with the service. The crew was friendly and engaging with my questions. They took the time necessary to get the job done right. Very meticulous with their clean-up.

The Whole Process went very very well, from getting the quote, to having all our questions answered by Phil. The end product looks AMAZING!! And we could be happier with how our front walk way has changed for the better!! I find myself stepping back and looking at it every time I'm out. Thank you so much and we will be using Metro Concrete when its time to do the new patio.

A tree root had raised one section of our front sidewalk at an angle, which created a potential trip hazard at each end of this section. MCRI raised and leveled the root section, and then raised, leveled, and aligned four (4) additional sections. The result is a now smooth, continuous sidewalk that is a pleasure to walk on. The entire job took a little over an hour. MCRI did an excellent cleanup and finish-up. The results look great! We are very satisfied!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were very good and I didn't have any complaints. There were no additional charges. I didn't compare their prices. I will probably use them in the spring to put in a driveway.

They did a nice job but put a crack in a big sidewalk piece. They made sure it was level. Thought they should have mentioned something.

They did a great job. We also received a bid for concrete repair but it got to late in the season for that so that will be done in 2014.

They came out even though it was late in the season for them and got the work done. I wasn't home at the time and I couldn't even tell they had been there until I realized that the crack had been leveled out. I can use my front door again!

I had e-mailed the company and the next morning Phil Herbst contacted me and on 11/07/13 he stopped over and gave me a bid. On 11/11/13 I called and said I wanted them to do the work. The next day I was notified that they would be over on Thurs, and told me that I would need to have the water turned on. They came in the afternoon, and went to work right away. They raised the slab that had sunk 1 inch or so but they also did some raising on the other two slabs to make it level. They were done in less than an hour and left everything so clean. I appreciated the service since I was worried about the winter setting in before it would get done. Everything went so swift. I am so happy with the job and the service.
