+ 1 moreI have never written a review before but these guys deserve a GREAT ONE! This team was WONDERFUL! I give them a Perfect 10! They were Here early & working extremely hard the entire time they were here. I have a 4 year old that wanted to watch them (we stayed out of their way) & they were very nice to him & I! I would definitely use these guys Again! They know what they're doing. It looks great next to my driveway! GREAT JOB ADVANCED CONSTRUCTION!

They were very skillful asking me if I had any questions before beginning the work which I appreciated. They did the job very well. The job was a safety issue. + -1 moreThe two gentlemen from Advanced Construction Services were there early (nice surprise) and got right to work after explaining what they would be doing and approximately how long it would take. They were professional and took care to clean up after themselves. They used a dried limestone to fill in the void under the segment of our driveway; compared to other companies who use a sand-based approach. By using dried limestone, it provides better protection from further sinking. It took them less time than they thought and in the end, the driveway looks great. They even went beyond what they originally quoted and caulked an extra seam in the driveway. They explained follow-up care and what to watch over the next few hours and says. All in all, this was an excellent experience performed by professionals.

+ 3 moreThey did an excellent job and had a great crew that preformed the work, we did have to wait about a month longer than we had thought but it was well worth it.
Description of Work: EGRESS WINDOW: Provide and install egress window per plans provided. Provide and install a right-hinge Anderson 36" x 36" casement egress window with homeowners choice of standard Anderson window exterior color, clear pine interior and screen on the East/Front of home. The new egress window will be aligned with existing first floor window above. - Excavate down to existing footing, clean and repair any cracks in the foundation and waterproof the exposed foundation wall below the new window location. - Excavate a trench from window well excavation to elevation change at NE corner of home. - Install window. - Install new 16" x 8" concrete footing for block window well, footing will have 1/2" re-bar embedded and connections to existing footing. - Place 4" PVC drain tile at base of excavation. - Install sump basket and sump pump in bedroom closet at foundation wall adjacent to new window well. - Dig under footing and connect drain tile to new sump basket. - Install an 8" CMU window well with 1/2" rebar and core fill per plans. The well will be 3'-4" x 4'. - Install dimpleboard to exterior of window well. - Install a metal ladder for the well. - Fill with washed rock to within 8" of new window. Level rock and install a layer of drainage fabric and cover with 4" of additional rock. - Install PVC drainage pipe from pump discharge, parallel with exterior of home running to the North to daylight. Remove and reset existing retaining wall as necessary to daylight drainage. - Backfill around the egress window well with washed rock to within 1-1/2' of grade, install a layer of drainage fabric and fill to grade with excavated soils. Final landscaping by owner. - Install hinged Plexiglass Safe-T-cover to complete repairs. REMOVE AND REPLACE FLATWORK CONCRETE AND FRONT STEPS.

Description of Work: We called several companies to provide us an estimate on fixing our finished basement floor, which sunk between 1" to 4" inches along one wall. Advanced Construction Services responded immediately and sent a professional to our home to look at our floor. He provided an estimate promptly. We thought the estimate sounded reasonable and scheduled the work to be done within about a week. They arrived promptly, drilled several holes in the floor, and injected urethane foam to raise the floor, which was an amazing thing to watch. Everything worked out perfectly and as expected.

+ -1 moreThe process went quickly with detail showed in every step of the process. We asked and hoped that the raising would not cause the opposite end of the sidewalk to be raised above the point where it meets the driveway. There was no guarantee it would be that way, but they worked hard to make it level and safe. For the sidewalk to be raised 2", we didn't want a stumble step to be created and be 2" above the driveway. They were able to raise it and leave a pitch so the water would drain properly and both ends of the sidewalk were right on. This process creates an huge mess. They cleaned everything and even filled the part of the garden next to the sidewalk with some black dirt. They were prepared to handle everything and make it right.
Description of Work: Raised my sidewalk up 2" so it was the same as the next step. Also kept the other end of the sidewalk at the same level as the driveway so there was no variation in height.

Advanced was very prompt with their bid, communicated very well about the work that was required and the scheduling, arrived at the project when they said they would, were very polite and professional at the site, my home, performed at budget and the work looks terrific. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.
Description of Work: Advanced sandjacked one of my sidewalks so that sidewalk pitch ran water away from my garage foundation instead of towards the foundation as it had previously. Advanced also repaired my garage foundation and installed a new garage apron.

+ 0 moreI chose Advanced Waterproofing not because they were the cheapest, but because of their impressive professionalism both during the onsite inspection and quoting process. They stood out as a company that new how to do it the right way to ensure I would not have to worry about how the egress window was implemented. Since it involved cutting into my home foundation I wanted to make sure the most qualified & experienced company did the work ... since this company's roots are with foundation water proofing it made sense to go with them (instead of many of the other installers that just have background in general construction or window installs). They took care of everything from permitting, to even putting down plywood to minimize/avoid damaging my yard. They took care of all the clean up (even the street). Communication was great throughout the process and everything was detailed out explicitly in the quote so there was no room for misinterpretation. I would definitely recommend them for any type of services they provide given my experience with this company. I recommend when comparing companies for your Egress window, don't just look at the price. Take time to understand the details of what each installer does to ensure you will never have to worry about water leaking thorugh your window/foundation.
