Reps from company came to my house for an estimate/bid to put a home theatre system in my living room. Their proposal was to essentially put a TV on my fireplace mantle and run an extension cord to it. I was told the TV couldn't be mounted because the wall was above a fireplace. I asked for a powered HD TV antenna. When I received the estimate, it included outdated equipment (a search on the internet and with local stores like Best Buy made clear I couldn't even purchase the SONY television or the sound bar they recommended new at any retailer) and an FM radio antenna of all things. All at a hefty price tag for what I could essentially do myself. Take a TV out of a box, set it on my fireplace mantel, and run an extension cord to it. Really glad I got bids from two competitors, both of whom were far more professional, and whose recommendations included a full motion mount to the wall ABOVE the mantle (they were both perplexed why I was told you can't mount a TV to a wall above a fireplace), an awesome SONOS sound bar (not the brand Acoustix recommended) and running electric to the location, so that it looked clean and neat. The competitor I selected did an awesome job on the install. It looks great and works fantastic. The SONOS sound bar is the only way to go. The full motion mount to the wall allows us to enjoy the TV to the fullest in our living room. They also said we didn't need to shell out the extra money for the sub-woofer. Not only was he absolutely right, but that saved us extra money. The work also included a licensed electrician to run electric to the location, completely discretely. For the same price as the Acoustix bid.

Kevin and Nate did a very professional job; the TV's are perfectly centered with no cords in sight! I found both Kevin and Nate easy to work with, professional, friendly and responsive with great attention to detail. They called when they said they would, they showed up on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up when they were finished. The technician from Accoustix was very professional and totally successful with his work. It can be complex to install a large TV in an automatic lift furniture cabinet and he did a wonderful job. It has worked perfectly since he installed it. And he managed the cords to be out of the way and neatly organized!

Kervin came over for the estimate and I could tell right away I was going to be very pleased to work with this company. I told hin what I wanted to replacce the 12 year old system we had in our family room. He made suggestions on components that would work for us. He matched the best prices I found on the internet for the products I chose. He gave me choices of several price ranges and explained the advantages of each option. The install date was set a few weeks after the order was finalized. Nathan and Kevin came over for the install. They are both highly knowledgeable and professional. The actual charge for their services was less than Best Buy would charge for the geek squad to do the work and I didn't have to deal with the sales people at the large stores. The television 65 inch - and sound bar were both mounted. They also installed a roku, cable box and universal remote. The result far exceeds our expectations. These guys are wonderful to work with!

The team from Acoustix Audio Video/Networx were a pleasure to work with! They were friendly, professional, flexible, timely, thorough and knowledgeable. They installed my home computer network, set up my wireless signal, mounted my tv, installed my sound system and attached/set up my BluRay, Wii, etc. Their work was fantastic and I am very pleased with their service. Perfect. I bought the wrong size mount for my 40 inch television but they rescheduled another time to come out right away to mount it when I got the right television mount. Very friendly guys cleaned up nicely I would definitely recommend them and use them again way cheaper than BestBuy.

They informed me I needed an $800 sound bar installed after they had begun the work.

Had some communication issues at first, but executed to what was told. Pricing was very competitive with other quotes I received. Nate & Kevin were very knowledgeable. Did not do the complete installation with this vendor as they did not offer the components, I was looking for. I preferred they had used better quality speaker wires, as one of the long in-ceiling wires did not work and had to rewire it. As FYI.. Would like to point out something I learned after my research on custom theater installations. Though most installers claim to offer a 5-10 % Angies list discount to customers, when you buy the components thru them, you are likely to get a better overall price break on components even from a retail store like Best Buy. Doing some basic reach before you buy can save you lot of money on bigger installation projects.

I am very satisfied with the work Acoustix did on the HDTV wall mount, which is what the Big Deal was for. They responded within one day of my call. The TV install only took about 30 minutes. The maze of wires behind the cable and power bar have disappeared. The additional sale of the Bose home theater system was completely my doing, there was no high pressure sales pitch. I am also very happy with the Bose system. I would definitely use Acoustix for any of the services they provide. I highly recommend them.

We has a misunderstanding about the mount, the the problem was rectified. The television, as my granddaughter says, now floats. They were prompt, polite, and professional.

They were on-time, very professional, careful not to damage anything while doing the installation, and did great work in a timely manner. They recommended some additional services but weren't pushy about it at all. I would use them again without hesitation.

They showed up in the window of time they promised. Both were courteous and knowledgeable. They performed the work in under an hour and I am pleased with result. One thing I would recommend is to read the Angie's list offer. The special is only for pretty much a new construction, perfect wall with no "one-offs". I noticed in reading other reviews that there is usually some sort of upcharge unless you have a perfect setup. I had concrete block behind my wall (which I imagine is the case in many family rooms) and it cost $100 extra, so my $89 deal was really an $189 deal in the end. I was notified of the upcharge after the holes were half drilled in the wall, so I was kinda committed at that point to pay the extra $100. I am pleased with the results and I would use this provider again.

They came out and what they did was more than I wanted them to do. I think it wasn't an unfair bid at all, I think it's fair but it's just more money that I wanted to spend on what they had done. They were very intelligent and I would be happy for them to do work for me. It was a very positive experience, it's just that it was more than I can stand on it right now. They were awesome, they knew their stuff, very respectful, and responsible. Somebody's services that we go don't even know enough about the service, didn't know what questions to ask. They just provided all kinds of information that was really valuable for me. The equipment was expensive and they came up with alternatives for me but it was still more than what I wanted done.
