Went great, ordered garden window and slider for bedroom. Jason Freisinger project consultant did a excellent job presenting what had to be done. I highly recommend Jason.

Window Concepts replaced three windows for us. The replacement windows fully met our expectations. The installation crew were courteous and tidy. Delivery and installation were at the far end of estimate.

Overall my experience with Window Concepts of Minnesota was a positive one. My two patio doors arrived approximately two months past the 10-12 weeks anticipated. I expect that was out of their control, but there was no communication from them about it until the patio doors arrived. The installation was rescheduled once by the installer; however, once the installation took place, both patio doors were installed in less than a day. A return trip was needed to correct one item with a minor communication issue on their end, but once that was resolved the problem was taken care of ASAP.

It was an easy process all the way through. The window looks great and I cannot wait to use it this summer.

I am happy with the product at this point and the installers were great. The installers were the nicest guys you could meet and were courteous and professional.

02/21/2018 at 2:30 PM. Salesman was quite perturbed that the husband wasn't available for receive the written quote. Wouldn't work with the lady of the house for a simple written estimate. Salesman left in a huff. Probably wanted a signature immediately. I won't do business with them.

Very professional from the order through the installation. This is the second time I hired them and both times have received excellent service, professional installers, fair prices, and stands by their work. And makes you feel like they care when they call the next day to make sure everything is as expected.

Service was excellent, on time and professional. The windows have performed as promised. The shower is fantastic. It looks great and is so easy to keep clean.

Received a good quote and expected timeline for installation which was 10-12 weeks. Windows were not installed until 2 months after with little communication from sales team on when I should expect them to arrive. Once they were installed, they did a great job in negative weather on installing, communicating and cleaning up

After a long wait the door was installed quickly and looks wonderful. Slides easily. Installer was friendly and answered all my questions. Left the area neat and clean.

Even though it took 4 months from the time I ordered my windows until they were installed, I couldn't be happier with the work, look and quality of the windows. They were a very pleasant company to work with and would definitely use them again for future work. Highly recommend!!

After a 5 month wait- the wait was worth it. We purchased a Provia Signet Door. Wow. It blows our socks off. While it is frustrating to always have to leave a message to talk with someone- your call and message is always returned- every time. Nice Job Provia and WC.

I had windows installed by Window Concepts just before Christmas, had some family and friends over and received some compliments on how great they looked. There were some hiccups and concerns prior to and during the installation, but I felt that due attention was given very quickly and kindly and felt that they truly were giving every effort to making me a happy customer. I had five estimates done including Window Concepts and had a dilemma with what to do with my kitchen window prior to all estimates given and the only best idea, (something I didn't know was even an option) was from the salesman who first came out from Window Concepts...absolutely love it now! A lack of a little more attention to some small details, to which had been resolved, is the reason for four instead of five, but overall I am very satisfied and enjoying my great looking, new windows!

Window Concepts of Minnesota did a great job on our siding and gutters, they were all very professional and the house looks fantastic!!!

We love our new entry door and sidelight, and access door. The installers did a great job making sure the doors were installed level and secure. We found the people we worked with responsive and made sure that we were satisfied with our install.

Sadly I cannot recommend Window Concepts of Minnesota to anyone. Horrible customer service and its almost impossible to contact anyone. Here is my story: Everything started off well and I received a reasonable quote for 5 windows and gutters for my house. The salesman showed me a sketch of were the gutters would go, around all portions of my roof including 6 downspouts (this fact is important later). Then the waiting began. When I made my purchase in the beginning of June, I was told they were working 12 weeks out. This was not the case as my windows were not installed until mid October. The gutter install was finally scheduled the week of Thanksgiving, however this never happened. Window Concepts actually called me to see if the gutters had been installed, as apparently they do not keep up with their subcontractors. Finally in early December, after six months, gutters were installed on most of my house. One small section of roof was left without gutters and a downspout. When I asked Window Concepts about this missing section of gutters, they informed me that they had already installed 200ft of gutters including 6 downspouts when I had only purchased 140ft of gutters and 2 downspouts. If I wanted the last section finished, I would have to pay more. When I told window concepts that there were only 5 downspouts on my house and that it was not my fault if the salesperson made a miscalculation, they informed me there was nothing they could do. Overall this was a horrible experience for me as a customer. Please do not use this company.

Initial “price quote” appointment I was straight with the sales rep and told him I was looking for a quote only. Felt very pressured into making a decision to go with them that day. From other reviews I’ve read, I had a very similar experience as others where the sales rep offered us a couple specials and when we told him we aren’t ready to make a decision said he’d call his manager to see if he could do it at a lower price. After that cal he came down to a price we were comfortable with. Fast forward to 8 weeks later the install crew came with the wrong wrong storm door (the main door was correct.) Install crew was great and professional and cleaned up after themselves well. We were told it’d be another 4 weeks for the correct door to be ordered. I was not happy with the textured finish on the storm door that was incorr ct and made it very clear I did not want that finish on our correct door that was being reordered. It was never mentioned during our initial sales appointment that the kickplate or bottom panel of our door would have a textured finish. It looked very cheap. Well when they came to install the new storm door (the correct storm door from our initial order) , it had the same textured finish on the bottom. I told the installer I was not happy with that texture and he was very apologetic and said he’d take it back to see if they could just replace that panel. He tried calling the home office to see if he could reach someone while he was standing there with me and they told him they’d ha e to look into it and call us back. Well a few days went by and we heard nothing! So we called and they said they’d have the sales rep get back to us. Another week later we’d heard nothing. When we finally called back there was no mention of fixing the door, they wanted to schedule an appointment to install the door. I guess I assumed it was fixed at this point but they showed up with the SAME door they had a couple weeks earlier. No mention of ordering a new panel or anything to fix the issue. Extremely disappointed. The texture is horrible. Side note - all of the installers we worked with were wonderful. They were all professional, courteous and made sure to clean up after themselves when they were done. Too bad the rest of the staff didn’t have the same level of professionalism. I will not ever work with this company again.

The windows went really well - there was one delay well before they began, and they rescheduled appropriately. Everything was taken care of in 2 days. The siding guys were 4 days late, and then took 3 weeks longer than expected. The work was not completed well, and we had to ask for them to redo things several times. It looks pretty nice now, just don't look too closely at it - I still find flaws here and there. They also had no concept of the inspections required, which resulted in extra work after the initial inspection. The subcontractors they hired did, but they weren't listened to. The salesman was very pushy, and was adamant to get the deal that day rather than waiting. I should've held out to get my comparisons. A reputable company will guarantee their pricing for a period of time so you can properly research and ensure you're getting the best value. After reading reviews on other sites, this seems to be extremely common for them. When I called in after the siding guys didn't show up (when I took a day off work...), they said they'd call the crew leader and get back to me. It took 24 hours to get back to me. Generally if there's something I needed, it would take a day or two to hear back. And sometimes when they called back, they would contradict something they said before. Not impressed. Would not recommend.

They use hire-pressure sales tactics to get you to sign a contract when they are visiting doing the initial quote. Was told the insulation would be installed in 2-3 weeks. They just called (2 months later) to tell us that they gave us the wrong price and they just can't do it. Now we need to wait to receive our $300 deposit back and scramble to find another company to do the work. Very unprofessional.

They got the order wrong. It took a great deal of prompting to get it right.

Work was delay due to shortage of help. When they did the work took time to do a top notch job!

We had Window Concepts over to quote repairing a window and when the sales rep let us know they only replace windows, he still spent the time to measure our windows and write down all the info we needed for contacting a company, as well as looked up and wrote down companies we could call. When he was leaving we decided to have him look at our doors and he provided us with a lot of options and was very thorough. The staff that came to install the doors were very professional and answered all my questions. They did a great job putting them up and everyone in the neighborhood has been complimenting the work that was done.

The salesperson was very pushy, gave me a very high price compared to other estimates, then called his manager and lowered the price to within the range of others. I believed the window was superior and he told me it would be installed before Thanksgiving, which was 8 weeks away. I called the week before T'giving only to hear that the contract said 10-12 weeks and would be coming on Dec. 19. (which it did and I didn't notice) I called the owner and complained; the date was moved up to Dec. 5. Not before T'giving but close and before Christmas crazy began. Then the window "wasn't on the truck" so it would be the 19th again. I called and said that won't work, I want to cancel and figured I'd start the whole process again in the spring. Miraculously the window was "special freighted" and arrived in time to be installed on Dec. 5. The installers were very pleasant, considerate, cleaned up everything beautifully and it's a really nice window. They did accidentally take a small chunk of stucco off the exterior wall but it's at the top and not noticeable. They tried to fix it but it's stucco and was really cold that day. It was slightly more expensive than the others I looked at but it seems very efficient; I feel no cold air around the window or on the wall. I would consider using them again but pay careful attention to dates and salesperson b.s.

Windows Concepts of Minnesota's non-english speaking crew installed new front and back storm and interior doors. The doors seemed nice but were quickly degraded by the careless installation. Weather-stripping was completely ineffective evidenced by wide daylight gaps down hinge side, wrong size, or stripped screws that quickly fell loose at the latches. When main entry interior door knob assy broke completely off in the hand of a house guest I was forced to call Windows Concepts and request service. I called the third week in July, 2015 and a nice lady said she would promptly order a replacement lock set assy. for me. +/- 5 weeks later on Sept 1 the same person called again to inform us that our service date has been moved out two more weeks. Then, she called twice again the same day to move the dated even further out two more times. So now we're looking at two months with the broken front door. It broke, by the way, because their installer left out fasteners needed for a proper installation. These doors weren't inexpensive and being treated like we should be happy with crappy service is insulting. If you expect to get good service after the sale please shop at a name brand, established window and door manufacturers show room, not a booth at the fair. Our replacement window sashes were manufactured in Minnesota by Re..... by An...... Corp and there was a cosmetic problem with one lower sash frame rail. Within two weeks they had completely manufactured new upper and lower sashes to our on file specs then installed by two English speaking, uniformed professionals followed up by an old school professional finisher for matching the stain to the other windows in the room. I will amend this review as the response from Windows Concepts warrants.

The representative had a 6pm appointment, he sat outside of our home in his car for a while, I looked outside at 6:20 and he finally rang our bell at 6:25pm. The guy tried to make small talk, asked us a lot of personal questions, at this point we are a little perturbed his is late, but we showed him the doors we were thinking of replacing. He looked things over, declared we had an illegal door to our garage, and that our doors would require specialists and extra work because we had lead paint. He insinuated that the home owner before us must not have had a lot of money because of the door choices.... then he showed us a catalog of the brand he wanted to sell us. He told us the doors were made by the Amish, and showed us a picture of Amish people with horse and buggy and started to explain what Amish people were. I cut him off, it was getting silly, I told him we knew something about the Amish and he did not need to explain it to us. He was working on a quote and kept stopping to ask us about ourselves and tell us personal anecdotes.....I finally told him we had a time limit, to which he said, you have something better to do? Finally finally he gives us a quote to replace two doors, over $4,000. I told him I would like the quote but can't decide right now, I needed to get more quotes. He told us that if we bought today, we would get a rebate from the Amish. I told him no, I am not buying today, I need to do research. He got very upset, said, oh I guess you can afford to throw $600 away, should I tell the Amish not to give rebates? He asked when we would decide, I told him soon and he said, "so I should just tell my boss to give you a rebate next week instead of today? he'll say yeah, right!". I told him we weren't going to be swayed by high pressure sales tactics, he got up said "good luck with your doors!" and left.....he didn't even take his shoes off when he came into our home, so he was able to make a quick exit. RIDICULOUS and insulting. We got another quote, turns out, our "illegal" door is fine, not illegal and doesn't need replacing, and there is no lead paint. Home Depot is replacing our door and I feel a lot more secure. Live and learn!
