Description of Work: New kitchen cupboard doors, removed radiator and replaced with toe kick heater, new countertop, sink, linoleum floor, update electrical, plumbing. Richard was great to work with, no surprises, good communication. Really respected our home (1925 classic duplex) and aesthetic. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: They reconfigured our garage entry/laundry room area to make it much more functional, and remodeled the kitchen (removed soffit, new cabinets that use the space more efficiently, new counter top and floor). Richard is very detail oriented and listened and observed how we use the spaces affected. He made thoughtful suggestions, and incorporated our ideas. The project went mostly according to schedule which is very helpful when remodeling a kitchen. The price was reasonable, and the quality of the work excellent. They were also very responsive to our concern, including quickly fixing a minor issue that we discovered a month after the project was done.

Description of Work: They drew up plans for a kitchen remodel. Overall I thought it went very well. Richard was very prompt and detail oriented. Ultimately, I chose another company because I thought their design better fit my needs.

Description of Work: We got a bid on a small/medium kitchen project (after paying $250 for a design). We were very excited about the possibility of working with West End because they use Crystal Cabinetry but the price came back way higher than we had expected. We felt that our conversations with them would have either stopped the process earlier or would have resulted in a bid 5-10K less. I think the finished product would have been great but it just seemed like they were overpriced (since our kitchen is NOT big and we did not ask for any bells and whistles).

Description of Work: I ordered and had delivered two countertops, which we subsequently installed. It took 3 weeks to get the countertops in at the store, which I thought was quite a long time. The quality was good.

Description of Work: JOHN BECKSTROM, CONTRACTOR/DESIGNER, DID OUTSTANDING WORK IN TRANSFORMING MY 1930'S KITCHEN INTO A BEAUTIFUL AND EFFICIENT ONE, WHICH STILL MAINTAINS THE CHARACTER OF THE HOUSE. I CONSULTED WITH HIM A NUMBER OF TIMES BEFORE WORK BEGAN AND ALWAYS FOUND HIM HELPFUL. WORK INCLUDED NEW MAPLE CABINETS, LAZY SUSAN AND SOME CUSTOM CABINET WORK, CORIAN COUNTER-TOPS AND SINK, NEW FLOORING, NEW STOVE, MICROWAVE, AND DISHWASHER, PLUS PANTRY WITH SPACE FOR RECYCLABLES AS WELL AS BROOM CLOSET. THIS WAS A MAJOR RE-MODEL, ENTAILING SEVERAL DESIGN CHANGES AS WELL AS SOME REPAIR TO THE WALLS BEFORE INSTALLATION AND A COMPLETE UP-DATE OF THE PLUMBING. THE RENOVATION OF THE BATHROOM (NEW PEDESTAL SINK, TILED FLOORS AND WALL, AND UP-TO-DATE PLUMBING) HAS CHANGED IT FROM AN EYESORE TO A ROOM THAT IS UP-TO-DATE, PLEASANT, AND EASY TO MAINTAIN. HIS WORK RESULTED IN SATISFACTION BEYOND MY DREAMS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WEST END KITCHENS FOR THEIR SERVICE.

Description of Work: WEST END REMODELED MY KITCHEN - INSTALLED A NEW CEILING DRYWALL, NEW CABINETS, COUNTERTOP AND SINK.

Description of Work: A WORK/COMPUTER AREA BUILT IN MY KITCHEN THAT PUSHED INTO THE GARAGE. THEY MATCHED THE NEW CUPBOARDS AND COUNTERTOPS IDENTICAL TO THE EXISTING ONES AND THEY TOOK CARE OF EVERY DETAIL WITHOUT ME HAVING TO DO ANYTHING BUT APPROVE OR DISAPPROVE THEIR CHOICES. THEY LISTENED VERY WELL, RESPECTED MY HOME AND TIME, WERE TIMELY, NEAT, PLEASANT TO WORK WITH AND EVEN TOOK MY DOG OUT!
