I have been trying to get an appointment scheduled for 3 days and have multiple re-routes and several disconnects while on hold. I have used their online schooling, text messaging and in-person agent. My impression is poor customer service and they don't really care to have my service. I'll look elsewhere.

Will depend on whether or not they revise their estimate, and do not change me for refrigerator and free-standing over installment.
Description of Work: I received and estimate for a 4-piece kitchen suite. Even though the ad states, "free delivery for free-standing appliances," the quote included installation fee for refrigerator and over (both of which are free standing. Not sure if I will go with this company or not -- am getting estimates from several other companies.

the actuqal repair waent great and he fixed a door problem no charge. BUT it can take a long time to get a repair guy out there as you have to prepay for everything ---then they order the part---which has to be shipped in(from Korea this time)---then and only then can you get on the repair schedule which is a week out or so. If you want an initial visit to ***** problem that cost $100 extra---if you do the assessment yourself and get it wrong there is no return on the part that you prepaid for. Take a picture of the model number tag and send it in with on-line request form to eliminate any delay when they don't believe you got the numbers right. took 3 weeks or so for me...

It had some bumps but ended up in a very good result all around.
Description of Work: We bought a new GE Refrigerator from a newer location of Warner Stellian. They matched another retailers price and we set up delivery. Told them we would rather buy from a appliance store than a big box retailer. They scheduled pretty quickly the fridge and made sure it was in stock. Even told us in detail the process for getting the item from their warehouse to their store to the delivery service which was also an employee of the company. Was told to clear a path of xx inches. Took a ruler and measured at least three times every path from an entrance to the kitchen. It exceeded the inches needed so when they got there they checked it and said make it about 3/4 of in larger in one location. So took off two custom doors so they would not get damaged by the appliance brought in. They had a critical job and while they finished it up the doors were taken off and it all went smoothly then. It was nice of them to give me time to remove the two tall cabinet doors. They came back another day and removed some remaining tape between a gasket and the GE door. And balanced the doors better. Very happy with how it turned out. Thank you Warner Stellian Company

Description of Work: We ordered a new washer/dryer combination. The sales process was nicely done. We were able to get a prompt delivery, so no time off work. During the delivery process, they broke a plastic drain part off the back of the washer (issue1)(it was very cold). Instead of leaving the old, working washing machine, they took it and left us with a new, non-functioning washing machine(issue2). After this,their responsiveness and customer service fell apart. We waited for a part and after the part arrived, then get back in the long delivery rotation (no special service calls for their breakage). Presumably, that would cost money. Ended up having to take a half-day from work to wait for a delivery approximately 10 days later(issue4). It was difficult working with the call-support people as they were constrained(issue3). Couldn't get a replacement washer, couldn't get a part from an existing washer (literally a 90 second swap, which is what they eventually did when there was a long lead time on the part).

After 12 phone calls, two e-mails, five calls from the sales staff at the Minneapolis location which sold me the washer, one no-show and one public tweet I am two weeks into trying to get Warners Stellian to service my washer. They've simply ignored most of my requests, and the two times I have had communication their customer service people were unbelievably rude. They say they do not have enough techs, do not make appointments, might have to make a second set of arrangements if the technicians who don't exist and can't keep appointments show up and parts are needed. They've flat-out lied to the salesman who has tried to help me.
Description of Work: 18 months ago I purchased a high-end LG high-efficiency washer from Warners Stellian along with extended warranty coverage. The washer can't make it through a load of any size without resetting three or four times. Sometimes the machine itself just starts over.

We purchased top of line LG washer/dryer from this company in 2012, for a total of $2,256.79. We purchased all available warranties. WS came out 7/13 & told us they had to order a part in order to repair the wash machine. WS did not have part in stock (poor inventory control) nor did LG. We were given one excuse after another as to why they cannot receive part. We've been going to the laundry mat for a month. Yesterday, WS said the part may come in some time in the future. They'd be willing to "compensate us with a $50 gift certificate to purchase something in their store." We are beyond livid! Further, at one point WS stated, "The situation is under advisement." Then WS wanted to possibly put another temporary washer next to the defective washer. We could not fit another washer in our laundry room; therefore, this was not a viable option. I don't know how many households have room in their laundry rooms for multiple washers??? When we would call to check on when the part would arrive, as eventually WS stopped calling on the date the part was previously stated to arrive, the WS staff was not professional. The individual acted "put out" because we were calling. Both my husband and I have been trying to resolve this situation. Ironically, WS has TV ads with a family member speaking to their long time "customer service." WS never calls us, they just wait until we call to check in on the situation. We will never recommend WS or an LG product! My husband and I are both working professionals. Additionally, our grown children are also working professionals and beginning their own households/ families. Word of mouth travels fast and is often the best form of advertisement along with Angie's List and the BBB. Thank you. Please let us know if you need any further information.

After extensive research, we purchased an LG washer and dryer. The appliances were delivered on a Friday afternoon. We had been without a washer and dryer for over three weeks due to a move and construction so were very excited to have the new appliances. I washed a load of clothes and put it in the dryer. I washed another load and checked the dryer to see if the first load was dry. It was still damp, so I turned up the heat and left the load in longer. I washed another load and opened the dryer to remove the first load. When it was still damp, I realized that the dryer was not heating. By that time, it was 8:00 pm. I called the salesperson at Warner Stellian. He was with a customer so I left a message. He called back at 9:10. When I told him the dryer wasn't heating, he said he would talk to the technician in the morning, but that they only had one technician working on Saturdays. He told me he would be in at 8:30 am and would call as soon as he spoke to the tech. In the meantime, my husband took 3 loads of wet laundry to a laundromat to dry. We had an event to attend in the morning, so I was anxious to hear from the salesperson as we still had many loads of laundry waiting to be washed. I finally called him at 9:30 when we were ready to leave. I had planned to miss the event to wait for the tech if necessary. The salesman told me he had talked to the tech and that he was in Forest Lake and would not come to Woodbury on Saturday, but that he had sent all the information to customer service and someone would contact us on Monday. I could tell he had not planned to call back as he had promised. On Monday, a technician showed up at the door without talking with us. After looking at the dryer, he said it needed a part and would put an order in and let us know how long it would be. They called later to say the part had to be ordered. After waiting four days for a functioning dryer that we had already paid for, my husband finally went back to the store and told the salesperson they needed to replace the defective dryer. We later received a message from customer service saying the part for the defective dryer would be available in another week. If we had not demanded a replacement, we would still be waiting. Warner Stellian does a lot of advertising about being a "hometown" business and hyping their customer service. The stores are open every day to sell the appliances, but they hire only one technician to work on Saturday?

If you are looking for appliances, I recommend you go someplace else and save yourself a lot of hassle. The Purchasing process at Warner's is fine, much like any appliance store. Check prices at other local competitors, often time they are priced higher then other local retailers. Where the experience completely falls apart is with their service. We have purchased multiple appliances from them, and our most recent purchase we made was only because of a discount we received due to settlement on a class action lawsuit. We recently purchased a new Refrigerator and Microwave. The appliances have been in our house for a couple of weeks. The display on the Microwave has become very dim to the point where it is unreadable. I called Warner Stellian's to setup a service call to have it repaired. The first available date was 3 weeks out and they couldn't tell me what time of day they would be showing up. I requested the afternoon and for the service tech to call me 30mins before he was to arrive. After my initial call, I called back again to make sure they had the right time and date and the request to call me ahead of time. The day before they were to come to do the service, I called again to make sure they had my request. The Woman I spoke too was very rude and was chewing gum about as loud as anyone I have heard. She told me the request was not in their system and that there was a 3 hour window from 3:45-6:45pm of when the tech could show up. I asked her to update the request so the tech would call me before he/she would arrive. The following day, I get a call at 3:15pm saying the tech was at my house and wanted to know how to get in. I told him that I was not at home and requested to have him call me ahead of time. I also reminded him that he was 30mins early and that he would need to reschedule. I called their service department again, and spoke with a supervisor and explained. the situation. I never received an apology and was told that I would need to reschedule for another 2 weeks out. At this point, I informed the supervisor I would not be getting my service from them and would not be making future purchases from them either. We had previously purchased a stove about 3 years ago and had a similar service experience. We are done doing business with Warners.
Description of Work: Delivery and service calls- Work was not performed on recent service call because they can't seem to take a simple request for either a repair at a specific time of day or call before showing up. They believe the customer is always wrong... until proven otherwise.

Purchased dishwasher and grill. They asked if we wanted to pay $25 to have grill assembled and we said yes. On delivery date, dishwasher installed and all fine, but the grill was covered in a very thick layer of dust and once we cleaned it off (the delivery people did not deliver a clean grill by any means), we discovered it was covered with scratches. Took a number of phone calls, but we did get a new grill delivered and it was covered with just as many scratches, if not more. They finally agreed to refund $90 to us (I think the grill was around $350). But week after week went by and we did not receive the promised check. It took many more weeks and many more phone calls (lots of which Warner Stellian did not return), we finally got the check. Six months later when we had our entire kitchen remodeled and were purchasing new, high end appliances, we didn't even consider looking at Warner Stellian based on our experience with them.

I called the store's original salesman, would not be in until 12:30, said I had to wail till he could call me back. I asked to speak to another salesman, one came on the phone said the only option was to pay $200 more for machines with less stature older floor models. When salesman came in instead of calling me he was serving others who had come into the store. I went to Appliance Smart got what I wanted and needed, when I wanted and needed, for less money and much less hassle.
Description of Work: I went into the store picked out a washer and dryer. I though would fit, salemen said nothing about measuring. I had measurement with me stated that it had to fix under a counter. Since he said nothing about measuring I did not either. Items were delivered and were two inches to tall.

There were no surprises with the cost, and that is what we really liked about this company; the disposal price for the old appliance was figured in to the final cost. They were so friendly and helpful offering a competitive price; it was an easy to choice to make. We did not even have to go to the store to pick out appliances; we were able to pick out the appliances via phone.

It went very well. The Sales person (Gary Brown) said someone would call to schedule the install. I was in a rush due to selling of the home and they met my needs. I was thrilled. The installer arrived within the committed time period and was fast and efficient and very pleasant. Unfortunately, I did not get his name. He tested it and so did I and all works well.
Description of Work: Purchased a dishwasher from Gary Brown. Had Warner's install it and haul away the old one. I called ahead to see what they had in stock and prices for install because I am disabled and cannot stand for long. Emily the receptionist was so wonderful, nice and willing to help. It is rare to experience such good customer service. In addition Gary was not the pushy type which I like. I walk away from the pushy type of sales person. It was a pleasure doing business there. I would definitely buy from them again.

Our salesperson, Chad Anderson, was very knowledgeable about the appliances and helped us make the correct choice for us. The appliance delivery was quick (within two days) and the delivery men were prompt, fast, and cleaned up everything when they were done. We were very happy with Warners Stellian and intend to use them when we need other appliances.
