Horrible. It took them 4 times to fire up my irrigation system this Spring because they kept sending inexperienced workers. When my pump went out it took another 3 visit to get that working and they had the 'courage' to bill me for all 3. Last straw was this Fall when they had me 'on the list' for Fall Cleanup but never showed up, despite numerous emails. I would steer clear of this operation!

I have contracted Warners 4-5 times for a few outdoor projects, with most of the focus on starting up, repairing, or shutting down the lawn irrigation system. Last Fall, I contracted with them to bleed it out and shut it down for the winter. Upon trying to restart the system in the Spring (unlike the first time I started the system up in Spring of 2019), they had made so many changes to the bleeder valve and removing some parts that i had water running everywhere when i attempted to start the sprinkler system back up this Spring. I called them out to do a Spring start up and i was hit with another $350+ bill, $118 of which was apparently included to "fix" what they left in a broken state the Fall before. I called the office to discuss and I was told too bad, pay the bill as is. I will never use Warner Outdoor Solutions again. They did not do quality work and then they did not address the bogus charges they added to fix their very own poor work. Very disappointed in Warner Outdoor Solutions.

Horribly. My lawn has never looked worse. Poor timing, quality, and application.

The rebuilt walkway is stunning (see attached photos). The men clearly know what they are doing. They are professional and highly skilled. I couldn’t be happier.

Good, although the heads that were replaced busted. They did come out again at no charge to program system.

They need to work on their weed application a little bit more. They follow up fairly quickly. I have no complaints in that department. I think the price is very competitive.

Their snow removal service was remarkable. They did an excellent job and I will continue to use them. They were less responsive and timely with their fertilization services. I had to call several times to get them to come and fertilize. The yard does look nice.

Got a list of services from HomeAdvisor. Within minutes of my search Warner called to me discuss their services. All seemed reasonable so I asked to be added to their snow removal route. Weeks later I called to ask why they had not cleared my drive and walk. I was not in their system as a snow removal customer. At this point I expected an apology and solution. Instead I got a condescending tone and implication it was my fault. F

Horrible service and repairs. Never honored warranty work

Nothing they did was satisfactory. I could write pages and pages of bad experiences I had with them. Not showing up for appointments, unprofessional behavior, poor installation by unskilled labor, padding billing for services not rendered and most of all, they did not honor the warrenty I purchased through them.

It took a long time to get the lights set up, and they weren't done correctly; so repeat visits. At this point still having problems and they take way too long to show up. Still waiting. Punctuality is a complete F. Quality of work c at best. If there are alternatives to these guys take it. These guys don't deserve a B in my opinion.

The service was good and they have a fair price.

The service was dependable within 12 hours of snowfall. Often, the snow was cleared to a depth of 2-3 inches. This left a lot of ice build-up over the course of the winter. Though the boundries of our driveway were clearly marked by them, they plowed over about 2-3 feet of our lawn. This tore out the sod and left bare dirt. When we contacted them about this problem in the spring, they came out and threw some seed on the bare spots. Their price was higher than anyone we have used in the past and the quality did not match this. We will not use them in the future.

I paid for the full season up front but it took until the third application for them to actually apply the fertilizer to the whole yard. I had weeds continually throughout the season and had to call several times to complain. They did respond quickly and would come out and spray but only sprayed some of the weeds which ended up making the grass brown wherever they sprayed. Also, since they had to come back and spray for weeds they would just move up their next application so they may not be back for almost two months. I ended up having to take care of the weeds all summer because whatever they were doing did not work.

When I called these people looking to have a rain sensor installed for an existing sprinkler system, they quoted me about $100. The technician came and installed the rain sensor in about 20 mins. and told me I'd be billed for the whole thing. A few days later, I got a bill for nearly $200 which included an $85 for labor. When I called them back to ask them why they never told me about the labor charge upfront, they told me the person I talked to probably forgot. They would take half off the labor charge, which I never consented to in the first place. When I told them i will only pay the amount they originally quoted me, they refused to accept any money for anything less than the full amount and sent the account to collections. This is a deceptive business practice, that's one of the worst thing a business can do with me. Thus, they earn straight Fs from me.

I find they are extremely expensive. They really try to up-charge you. We've had them two or three years but this past year we just haven’t been happy with them. Their plans are not clear enough. They weren't totally terrible but I think they just got really expensive. Also, in the winter time, there are instances where we would leave town and call Warner to come remove snow, but it was so expensive! Also, we have a small white picket fence about 20 feet long. We had them fertilize our lawn in the spring time. I came home one day to find that the back of the fence was sprayed with this aqua colored chemical. I tried to get it off by scrubbing but it would not come off and I realized I would need to paint the fence. I called them and told them and they said they would send someone out, but I had to keep calling them to get some sort of response from them. It was about the end of September by the time they came out and did re-painting. Originally, they tried to tell me they would charge me to paint the fence, but I told them no, and eventually they painted it at no charge. We had originally went with this company because they offered a really nice military discount, but the next year they didn't offer the discount anymore and the cost kept going up. The first year, the service was the best, but each subsequent year, the service went down hill.

I called around to five different services for price quotes after another contractor showed up at our door. Warner's Outdoor Solutions was significantly more reasonable on price than the other providers. I tried for three years on my own to control the weeds in our lawn and it was going to the wrong way. When I added up the cost to pay Warners compared to buying my own fertilizer and weed control inputs on my own, the cost spread was not that far off. I figured I would pay for a year and then decide if the results were there to continue the service. The first year there was definite improvement, the second year was even better. At this point, I am very satisfied with the service and their current price points and plan to renew this year for the third time. They call me each morning before applying the treatments, which allows me to plan to keep my kid and dog off the lawn. Warners also emails me a report during the summer showing what services have been completed. My only complaint was they were a little late in the spring getting out to apply the crabgrass preventive, which took a phone call to get them to hustle out. However, they were responsive and did get out right away after I called. Matt Engelmann Rogers, MN

I have used this provider for numerous years. In the past they have done an excellent job - the end of 2011 and all of 2012 was spotty at best. They did a poor job of snow removal and when I called they did not correct the issues. This caused an icy snowpacked driveway most of the winter. a number of times I had to call because they did not show up to plow. Unfortunately their previous high quality standard has slipped terribly in the last year or two

The service they provide is ok, but they are not responsive and coordinated on delivering their services. They informed me they could let me know the night before my service so I could have gates unlocked, but continue to call me the day off. They now have mentioned a couple of times, even though the note in my file says to call the night before, they set the schedule in the morning so will call that day. If that was what they told me originally, I would not have continued with their service. They also do not apoligize, or take responsibility or action, their response clearly shows they are not listening to my concerns. I will not use them going forward.

New to the area and contacted them by looking on the internet for service providers, didn't know about Angie's list at the time. Made at least 3 seperate attempts to contact them before receieved a return call, just to set up an appointment. Tis should have tipped me off. They were supposed to warrant their work, in that if they blew out my sprinkler system they would be responsible for repairs. This spring when I turned on the system a pepcock valve had been left closed and burst from ice that formed over the winter. When I had finally had decided to turn on the water it was late in the spring and I needed to get things watered. So it was going to take them weeks to get out to my house, so I went out and bought a temp plug in the mean time. I contacted them and told them to not to bother sending out a tech just mail me a new pepcock and I can do the work and save them the effort, they thanked me but asked me to mail them the part which I did. Weeks went by and no one contacted me so I called them and they acknowledged that it was a freeze problem and they would get back in touch (?) to schedule someone to come out. I told them not to bother just mail me a replacement and I could do the work. They inisisted they wanted to come out, so I agreed and they arrived on the scheduled date and did the work. A week later I got a bill in the mail for $85 for the repairs. I was very upset and contacted them and after much debate they agreed that I didn't ask them to come out but I still had to pay $15 for the part. I had no interest in going to court over $15 and or all the other hassles so I agreed to send them a check for the cost of the parts. I strongly urge others if you get them to do any work for you, get in writing an agreement showing they are responsible for any damage done for work performed.

The owner, Ryan Warner, was very responsive, but the job kind of went up-and-down. So, sometimes the snow removal was great and sometimes the snow removal was kind of questionable. It's a pretty big company, so the owner will pick up the phone and he'll deal with it. So that was good, it's just that, you know, sometimes you don't really want to have to keep chasing them down.

We had used Warners for a couple of years and were happy with the service. There were some hiccups but they seemed to respond when we had a complaint and took care of things. This Spring and moving forward the service has been bad. They started out by not even having us on the schedule for mowing this year. We had to call and email at least three times before the owner, Ryan, called back to say it had been taken care of the receptionist was looking in the wrong area on the computer and we were scheduled. Yet it took our complaint to get them to start. Then they never had a set day. Started doing Wednesdays, then switched to Tuesdays. No communication when they would be here. The lawn person would speed through our lawn so fast to get done they would leave big divets from the wheels of the lawn mower where he was turning. They would also be going to fast they would not cut the grass evenly. The final straw was not having our lawn mowed this week. We had it mowed on Tuesday, July 2nd. Nothing since then. We called them no less than four times in two days plus an email. No response whatsoever to the email. The person on the other end of the phone kept saying the subcontractor they used was not calling them back. There was nothing they could do. They couldn't call someone else to do the work because there was no other subcontractor who serviced Eagan except this guy. So we fired them today so we can get someone who wants our business and is reliable. I don't know what has happened to this company. Plus we are a disabled vet home and now have to try and find another company in the middle of the summer to do our lawn. No apology will suffice as we had guests coming in town and our lawn looks horrible. We depended on Warners to do the work we contracted with them in a timely manner. Excuses don't do me any good. And not having a solution is even worse. If your subcontractors can't do the job it is your name on the line. I hired Warners not a subcontractor you hired.

Warner's does a fantastic job! We use them for everything regarding our lawn. I'm so glad we found them. We've never had a problem.
