+ -1 moreRob worked with me to finalize a design, because I wanted to use aluminum rods instead of rails. It looks terrific. He also checked back several times to be sure everything still looks good.
Description of Work: Rob put together a custom-made oak railing around the stairwell going into my attic bedroom. It's beautiful! He put a lot of care into it, even making the railing wide enough for my cats to walk on it without giving me a heart attack. The dimensions are about 16'x5'.

custom cabinets
+ -1 moreRob built a beautiful built in entertainment center for our family room. He was very patient with us as we worked through our design process. He would contact me which was much appreciated as time often got away from me. The work is very well done and his pride in his work shows.
Description of Work: We had a oak fireplace surround and built in cabinets installed in our family room. It is about 18 feet long and 5 feet high.

+ 0 moreRob did an outstanding job. We had a deadline that had to be met and he kept on schedule all the way through. His craftsmanship is exceptional and we could not be more pleased with the work he did.
Description of Work: We hired Rob to build custom bookshelves and new millwork to match some built-ins in a 1920s home. The bookshelves covered nearly three full walls and included lateral files, a pull-out CD holder, a room divider, and closed-door cabinets to hold and hide electronic equipment. We widened a closet to hold file cabinets and Rob put a new frame around the opening and built doors to match the rest of the bookcases. Rob trimmed the bookcases and cabinets to match the built-ins, and added molding around the ceiling.
