+ -1 moreVery satisfactory for a Saturday morning emergency. I was advised prior to the work being done that since this was a weekend, it was time and a half.
Description of Work: Back up in all the plumbing on second floor including 2 toilets and 2 tubs. This happened on a Saturday morning. The service man came in less time than the dispatch had told me, and he figured out the problem quickly. He ran a line 40' and replaced the wax ring and adjusted the toilet and cleaned up and even did some re-caulking around toilet base.

+ -1 moreKeith was courteous and explained what he was doing very well. He had the misfortune of being the messenger of bad news, though he bore that task well with me. My house is 100 years old, and some of the sewage line may be appropriately old, with city codes having changed, certainly over the course of time. After the job was complete, I realized that I should have asked for a recording of the scope. I'm not 100% sure that such a thing exists, but the equipment appeared to me, capable of doing that. His office did not call me back when I left a message to ask about it. It was indicated to me by the company likely to do the main break repair in the Spring, that they will speak with him and get a report on his work to make their job easier. They've worked with him and have a good relationship. I feel he gave me good guidance with my waste line plumbing, and I may use him in the future for hopefully what may only be simple drain cleaning.
Description of Work: They televised a main sewer line 70" from the basement to the road and found a break in the line under the road where a rodent problem was likely to have originated. They attempted to clean the floor drain, but he couldn't get through the trap. He determined that the drain needed replacement. He cleaned the laundry tub drain, but he couldn't get past T in line, double 90s before. He determined that the laundry tub and waste line needs replacement. He stepped on a spot on the concrete floor that had sealed an older clean out, and the plug broke into a new open hole. This wasn't his fault, but rather the original repairer's. He could not get the clean out cover back onto my extremely old cast iron pipe, but he taped it up as well as he could until I could get it properly fixed. He seemed to feel pretty bad about being the messenger of all these mishaps, none of which I think he reasonably could do more about.
