WARNING!! Rip-off artists! Called this company when my septic system froze last December. They showed up and got the system running again, and then told me about all the other work I needed to have done. I agreed (it's an old house and needs some updating). The work they did finsh was done okay (near as I can tell), but some work remains incomplete. Bill Mann (plumber) showed up to work on things only if I called to remind him there was work to be done. He sometimes brought his young children with him, and they wandered around my house while we were in the basement. Bill also sold me a sump pump alarm system in March (a "side job"), but when another month had passed and he had not shown up to install it (and did not return my phone calls), I asked for my money back. When he finally did call, he had one excuse after another for why he couldn't return my money. I've caught him in several lies. It's now June and he still owes me money. He won't return my calls, and when I called the office, his mother (who runs the business end of things) said, "Keep me out of this." I've been checking prices they charged me for some of the equipment they installed, and have discovered most of it was grossly overpriced (Bill charged me $173 for a sump pump I could buy at Lowe’s for $75 - exactly the same make and model number). Not once have I heard them say, "What can we do to make this right?" Now I have to hire another plumber to come in and finish the work and remove the old equipment they left in my basement, and I have to take Bill Mann and Twin City Rooter to conciliation court to get my money back. Do not hire this company unless every other plumbing company in the Midwest is unavailable.
